I have been employed as an Educator at a childcare Centre for the past seven years, where I have developed extensive experience working with toddlers and kindergarten-aged children. In addition to my role, I have undertaken occasional babysitting for various families and can provide references upon request. I am passionate about early childhood education and take pride in creating engaging, interactive experiences that support children’s development, with a strong preference for limiting screen time in favour of hands-on learning. I hold a valid Working With Children Check (WWCC), as well as current CPR and First Aid certifications, a Police Check, and a Certificate in Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD). In my spare time I’m a photographer and love to visit cafes 😊

Hi! I’m currently living at college while studying at melbourne and love being part of such a vibrant community. In my free time, you’ll often find me rowing, spending time with my family, or playing my favourite board game, Cluedo. I grew up with two older brothers, so I’m very used to a lively household! Having had many wonderful babysitters myself who made a lasting impact on my childhood, I’m incredibly grateful for the care and kindness they showed me. That experience has inspired me to provide the same positive, fun, and supportive environment for the children I look after.

Looking for: Part-time,Casual Babysitting

Hi lovely families, Welcome to my profile ☺️ 🌸 I'm a young at heart mature woman with a beautiful independent 30 year old son. I have a positive, upbeat & engaging personality. I was a School Captain & have the ability to get along with all types of people. I have done some voluntary work for Single Family camps creating programs for children at these camps & I was responsible for keeping babies, toddlers & even teens occupied while giving Mum or Dad some much needed respite. This was a fantastic experience & I resided at these 5 day camps solely to help out with the other camp leaders in a Voluntary capacity. I have also worked as a Swimming Teacher with the under 5's which I found very rewarding. In my last 14 years working as a Nanny I have cared for twins, multiple children (up to 8 at one time in total) & children with special needs such as autism, ADHD, cerebral palsy, down syndrome, asthma, diabetes, eczema & other challenging health conditions. I'm experienced with new born babies up to teens. I am trustworthy & reliable & known for being punctual. I'm a very good communicator. I’m hard-working, diligent, energetic & enthusiastic and a whole lot of fun! I have trained in nursing and paramedic studies. I have had extensive experience with babies and children dating back to the age of 9 when I babysat the neighbours children (including a couple of newborns!).... in total 15 !! I have always been mature & responsible beyond my years. I have been surrounded by children my whole life including my 4 younger siblings and 30 1st cousins! I was a mother figure to my 4 younger siblings as my mother was working full-time as a Nursing Sister & my father was away from home a lot in his job as an International Airline Captain. I have had a lot of responsibility thrust upon me from a very young age! I am Aunty to 13 nieces & nephews & am very close to them & we catch up on a regular basis. I enjoy the spontaneous and honest interaction that children provide and I find it immensely rewarding knowing that I am able to influence and help a child to learn and grow confidently. I'm fair with a gentle approach & can be firm while teaching boundaries. I believe all children require stability and need to know they are loved and lovable as a basic right. I never cease to be amazed at the lessons that children can teach us adults! I am inspired by the enthusiasm that children have when learning about the world around them. I tend to establish a good rapport with the young ones I care for which I find very rewarding. Children are so precious & truly a blessing to be cherished. Importantly I am pro-active with a 'can do' attitude & I have a keen eye for detail so nothing goes unnoticed! I am very safety-conscious so your childs welfare is of utmost importance to me at all times. I can be flexible with time & I am more than happy to work with you to suit you and your childrens ongoing needs. I also do pet-minding/house sitting (many years now since I was a young girl) & have had a dog walking/dog training business too so I'm comfortable with all types of pets. I love all animals. 🤗 *Important to know...... I have had my car licence for decades & I'm a very cautious driver with a full licence & faultless record with Zero accidents & no demerits! I look forward to meeting you and your precious children. *My rate is dependent on time of day & number of children needing care. As per industry regulations my rate starts at $35-40 per hour & I prefer to work a minimum of 3 hours. As a tutor helping with homework my rate is the standard rate of $40 helping one student. Thank you. ☺️ *My most recent role involved caring for a newborn baby & his toddler brother which I really loved. Their Mum has written an excellent reference that is available for your perusal.* Thanks so much for reading. Have a lovely day! Sincerely Yours Fionna 🌸

Looking for: Part-time,Casual Babysitting

Hi families! My name is Sarah and I am a 21-year-old 3rd year university student who has just returned home to Melbourne after 6 months of au pairing in London for a beautiful family of 5 (made up of a 4-year-old girl, and two boys aged 8 and 10) and family of 4 (with an 11-year-old boy and 14-year-old girl). I have been working with children aged 2-17 in a professional setting since 2021 and love it. I’m looking to nanny/babysit for a family looking for a responsible, fun big sister figure to lend an extra pair of hands! Currently, I’m completing a double degree at Monash University (Bachelor of Arts/Bachelor of Art History & Curating) and, through this, also spent last year volunteering at a contemporary art gallery, ACCA. I love baking, playing cello, travelling, trying new foods, playing tennis and look forward to working in art journalism after graduation. In 2021, I worked as a cello assistant at a children’s orchestral program (WSSO) that I, myself, played in for many years as a kid who grew up in a family of classical musicians. After graduating high school, I moved interstate to Melbourne and in 2023 started nannying as well as teaching cello at Cantabile School of Music to students as young as 5. Most recently, I spent the first 6 months of last year nannying full time, looking after a 3-year-old girl whose mum who needed some extra help due to an injury. I worked 5 days a week grocery shopping, doing housework (laundry, dishwashing, kitty litter etc), cooking meals, changing nappies, driving to and from daycare, and of course playing. I still keep in close contact with the mum and occasionally babysit for them! The rest of 2025 was spent au pairing in London and backpacking around Europe between working for each family. Travelling and working with kids are two great passions of mine so au pairing was an incredible experience. As they were live-in positions, I formed a tight bond with the kids- we found it so difficult to say goodbye to each other and I made sure to shower them with presents! I worked 5 days a week with responsibilities similar to my previous job. It was great fun! As someone who grew up with nannies from ages 9-14, I have so many amazing memories with my unofficial big sisters and love pass this on to any kid in my care. I have an imaginative, bubbly, can-do personality and find that I can easily keep up with children. Working with kids has always been the best part of my job, it doesn't even feel like work. I grew up with dogs and cats and petsit on the side so if you have pets, I consider that a bonus! I'm fully vaccinated, first aid and CPR certified, have a victorian driver's license and car, hold a working with children card (VIC & QLD), and have undergone a police check. If you think I might be the right nanny for your family, I would absolutely love to hear from you! Sarah😊

I have degrees in psychology and early childhood education, and several years' of experience working with children aged 0-5 in kindergarten and long daycare settings. I have also worked with primary school-aged children as a nanny/babysitter, and I have an 11-year-old. I am patient, kind, and joyful, and I love working with children. Some of my favourite activities to do with children are reading books, playing games, making art, exploring the outdoors, and going on outings to places like the museum. I am happy to follow the interests of each child, whether it be reading the same book 20 times or getting on my hands and knees to play with them. My own interests include swimming, yoga, meditation, art, travel, and playing guitar. I speak Spanish as a second language and am more than happy to teach your child some Spanish. I choose not to work with children when they or I have illnesses such as Covid or influenza. I hope to find families who are on the same page about that. I currently have flexibility with times, so feel free to reach out even if my schedule doesn't say that I'm available. I did my first aid, asthma and anaphylaxis 2 years ago, so they are all current except for CPR. I'm happy to redo the CPR or the full course if you desire, just let me know. I also have a current WWCC. I also love dogs and am happy to work with families with dogs, including taking them for walks.

Looking for: Casual Babysitting

*Casual availability from 15th-19th April 2026* Hi families! My name is Crystal, and I’m a third year university student at Deakin University. I am currently studying the Bachelor of Biomedical Science, with the aim of getting into Medicine. I’m passionate about caring for others, which is reflected both in my studies and in the way I approach working with children (calm, attentive, loving). Over the past year, I have worked as an after-school and school holiday nanny for two boys aged 3 and 5. My afternoons with them have been spent doing trips to the playground and pool, baking, games and lots of outdoor play. I also joined the family on an overseas holiday, supporting the children and acting as an extra set of hands, so I’m very comfortable in both home and travel settings. In addition to this, I have very hands-on experience as a mother’s helper with my two nephews (currently 19 months and 15 weeks old). When my sister returned to work, I was responsible for sole care of her eldest from five months of age 2x days a week. Since welcoming her second baby, I have regularly cared for both boys together while she attended brief appointments, ran errands, had a shower or caught up on sleep! I also act as an extra set of hands for her with attending any appointments or adventures out of the house - even if that’s just to assist in the backseat during car trips. I am therefore very comfortable working alongside parents as a mother’s helper and would be thrilled to be a part of your family’s journey. I hold a current WWCC and first aid training, a driver’s licence (green P’s) and my own car. If you think I would be a good fit for your family, please reach out as I'd love to hear from you! Many thanks, Crystal

Looking for: Part-time,Casual Babysitting

Hi Families, My name is Jasmine - I’m a Registered Nurse with a Bachelor of Nursing and a Postgraduate Diploma in Child and Family Health Nursing, and I’m also a Certificate III qualified Early Childhood Educator. I’ve spent the past 11+ years working alongside families as a private nanny (including newborns and multiples), a paediatric nurse at The Royal Children’s Hospital, and in early childhood settings. Most of my experience has centred around those really early years of life, and it’s where I feel most at home professionally - supporting babies and children through that incredible 0-2 stage, and helping parents feel a little more rested, supported and confident along the way. What matters most to me is trust and connection. All of my roles have been long-term, and I’ve stayed in touch with the families I’ve worked with, which is something I really value. I don’t see this as “just a job” - in fact I like to think that the right role / family fit means it doesn’t feel like a job at all. I genuinely care about the families I support and the relationships I build with them. Becoming a mum myself has only deepened that. I understand how personal it is to welcome someone into your home and into your child’s early life, and I’ll never take that lightly. At the moment, I’m looking for a role of 1–2 days per week with a family where I can provide consistent, ongoing/long term support. Qualifications & Checks: • Bachelor of Nursing • Postgraduate Diploma in Child and Family Health Nursing • Certificate III in Early Childhood Education and Care • Working With Children Check • Police Check • First Aid & CPR I’d really love the opportunity to connect with the right family and am in no rush looking for the perfect match. Looking forward to hearing from you! Warmly, Jasmine

I am a qualified Education Support Worker and experienced Disability Support Worker with a strong background working with children and teenagers of all abilities across school, home, and community settings. I have worked within schools supporting students in the classroom, as well as in more one-on-one and community-based roles, which has given me a well-rounded understanding of children developmental, emotional, and behavioural needs. I am a fun, reliable, and caring individual who genuinely enjoys spending time with kids and building meaningful connections with both children and their families. One of my key strengths is being able to quickly build rapport and create a safe, comfortable environment where children feel supported, understood, and encouraged to be themselves.
