Hi there. My name is Sally and I am a mother of two adult children. In August 2021 I relocated from Perth to Melbourne to be closer to my children who have lived in Melbourne for nearly 3 years. I have extensive experience with both babies and children of all ages. I retired 6 1/2 years ago and have been babysitting ever since. In fact, I've had the same 7 families for the entire 6 years. Babies grew up, little brothers and sisters came along and then it became school pickups, sports days and assemblies. When my children were young I worked in a creche, specialising in children from newborn to 4 years old, as well as a preschool. I dearly love children, feel I have a warm and loving nature and enjoy interacting in a fun way and with a sense of humour but also have the experience and maturity to ensure the home runs smoothly. I have a clean drivers license, police clearance, WWCC and have completed a St John's Community First Aid Course. I am fully vaccinated. Current references are available and encouraged. Please feel free to contact me for a chat. I'm always happy to pop over to meet you and your little ones any time.
Hello! My name is Stephanie.
I am an Early Childhood Education student at Deakin University and am 22 years old. I currently live in a small apartment in the CBD with my husband and am experienced in cooking and homemaking.
I have extensive experience with young children, including: before/after school care (educator), babysitting, kid’s church (leader), school holiday camps (cabin leader), and placement from previous study of Nursing/Midwifery and Primary Education (both also at Deakin).
My greatest passion in life is being able to see children flourish and be cared for. As the middle child of eight siblings, I was exposed early to being responsible for those younger than me.
In the early years, I believe that children develop best through play-based learning. From my experience, I have realised the importance of fostering a strong sense of identity, well-being, communication skills, confidence, and connection and contribution to their world. Most of all, I ensure that the child feels loved and appreciated, and I sincerely understand that the parent is the most important figure in their child’s path in life; I am adept in respecting the parents’ way of care.
I have flexible availability, hold a current Working With Children Check and full drivers licence, and am willing to obtain a first aid certificate if necessary. I look forward to speaking with you and hope that I might be the right fit for your family.

Hello! I'm Ruby and I'm 26. I grew up in Perth and moved to Melbourne in 2016. I am a nurse, currently employed at Broadmeadows Acute Psychiatric Unit. I have grown up babysitting kids around my suburb, and I absolutely adore children. I am respectful, trustworthy and honest. I will treat your children with respect kindness. I also love cooking, and enjoy getting the kids involved. I am currently looking for casual babysitting, as I work on rotating shift work. I met one of my good friends through this website and used to care for her 8 week old bub to give her a break for a few hours to go and have a coffee / spend time with friends and her partner. I am more than happy to provide some respite time for new mums and dads, day or night!
I'm currently studying at university and looking for a part-time or casual babysitting position. I live in Melbourne CBD and am happy to travel if required. I do acting, sing, play saxophone and swim. I love anything creative and would love to help the kids out with any projects they are doing.
Hello Mums and Dads, I know how crazy life can get with work, your little ones running around, and in these ‘new times’ with Covid, trying to manage everything can be really stressful. But worry no more because I think I can help!!
My name is Olivia. I’m a compassionate, fun and patient 29-year-old Nanny and professional ‘Mums Helper’, who lives in inner Melbourne. I have been working closely with children and their families for over 8 years and I absolutely love my work. Over the years I have worked with a broad range of families and children (aged 2-15) including extensive experience with children who have various special needs, particularly Autism and also children with behavioural difficulties. There’s nothing more rewarding than putting in the work and having the patience and compassion when a child is struggling and then seeing them transform and blossom into the best versions of themselves. I have been working for a beautiful family with two boys (ages 10 and 7- the 10 year old has autism), at the end of this year it will be five years but sadly they will be moving to South Korea for the fathers work with the Defence Force so I am in need of work for in the New year.
Growing up with many nannies (some great and some not so) I knew exactly the sort of Nanny and child caretaker I wanted to be. Someone who can be ‘silly’ (when the times right) and can have a laugh, who enjoys getting my hands dirty whether it’s arts and crafts, playing around in the backyard or building sand castles on the beach. I love reading stories and going on excursions whether it’s the Zoo, museum or just the local beaches and parks. I am also very experienced at helping children with their homework. 2020/2021 has also brought me new experiences as I had the chance to home school two boys.
I am a strong believer that all caretakers should put away the ‘screens’ and be interactive and involved in the child/children’s lives as we play an important role and can have a huge positive impact across many aspects of a child’s life (creatively, play, learning, confidence building etc). I also understand it’s not all about the fun and games. Parents need help too. If you need help finding routine again, de-cluttering of toys, cleaning-up after the kids, washing and ironing for the whole family, organisation of home and just finding some calm amongst what can feel like ‘chaos’- I can help. I also love to cook and bake and can help with meal preparations, school lunch box prep and creating the occasional treat (or more) for the family to enjoy. If you need help with birthday parties; including birthday cakes and party food- I’d love to help. I can help with grocery shopping and any errands that are needed.
If you’re only wanting a date night and just need a babysitter for the night I’m also available for any adhoc babysitting at short notice. I have my own car (2016 Hyundai i30) with 1 child seat and a full license. I have my first aid, double Covid Vaccination and Working with Childrens Check certificates.

Hello to all you lovely Families out there, my name is Alex. If I were to tell you a bit about myself I would describe myself as a gentle, loving, caring and creative person. I love to be around children, which I think was due to being the eldest in such a large family where I was very involved in raising and looking after all my little sisters and brothers. Education wise I have a bachelor in Division 1 Nursing where I specialized in Emergency/Critical Care Nursing. Whilst practicing as a nurse I was able to go back to university and start a 4-year Midwifery degree at ACU, though I have deferred for 2020/21 due to the obvious Covid 19 issues going on in the world at the moment. I have also studied an Infant/pediatric massage course intended for children with disabilities and mothers suffering postnatal depression that I completed through The Royal Women's Hospital in the hopes of one day being a maternal health nurse. Because of my Medical training I am educated, certified and am up to date in both adult and pediatric advanced life support, anaphylaxis training and have a current working with children’s check and police check. My start in childcare began whilst I was still at Uni studying my last year of my Nursing degree and for another 1 year after completing my nursing degree, I worked at the East Melbourne Child Care Co-Op Day Care Centre where I worked and rotated in all the rooms with children ranging from 5 months to 6 years old. And on two days of that week I worked one on one with special needs and disabled children to join the rest of the activities and children as much as was possible. And when my Nursing studies where completed I was asked if I would be willing to stay on and run my own class as the head career/teacher in the toddler’s room for another year. Through my time working in this role I was able to continue to learn and update my knowledge, skills and childhood development education by attending many professional education courses and programs run by The Lady Gowrie Learning Centre regarding various developmental topics on all ages of pre school children. And I have had the opportunity to have been working as a nanny for the last 5 years with various wonderful families in both long and short term positions and looking after multiple children from infants all the way to primary school age kids. I am also very happy to provide any documents or information you may like to see and provide referee documents and contacts.
Additional Fun Fact: Prior to starting my Nursing degree I lived in Vietnam and Thailand for 2 years teaching English to students aged 3 years to 18 years old in both one on one settings and in group classes and schools.
I am a warm, playful and nurturing person with multiple years of experience as a babysitter helping to raise my nieces and nephews.
I love kids, tennis, swimming, photography, cooking, animals, maths and sharing my knowledge. I am fluent in both Spanish and English, and happy to teach the basics of my mother tongue.
I possess a Bachelor's Degree in Electronic Engineering, and an advanced Diploma in Commercial Cookery and Hospitality.
