About my experience with them, my first opportunity was in a kindergarten in Colombia, teaching traditional dance to children from 3 to 5 years old. I was working there for 8 months and It was a great experience, after I was working in different colleges as well teaching tradional dance to children from 5 to 12 years old for 3 months, also I have experience look after of children, specially with babies because I was a nany to siblings, a baby of 6 month old and his sister 6 years old for 3 years, during my free time when a I was studying my bachelor at university in Colombia. Looking for: Part-time,Casual Babysitting

Hi, my name is Maya. I have just recently moved from regional Victoria to North Melbourne for university. I would like to start babysitting/nannying 2-3 days a week although I am available Monday to Friday until the end of February when my university course starts. I have had lots of experience in the past babysitting. I've previously worked with various families from newborns to 13 years old. But I have also grown up with a huge family so I'm constantly surrounded by little cousins and kids. I have always loved playing and interacting with kids so nannying/babysitting seems like a fitting job :) My hobbies and interests are sports, exercise, water-skiing and just spending time with friends and family. I also have my license and happy to help out with cleaning and jobs around the house.

Looking for: Part-time,Casual Babysitting

Hi there Mums & Dads.... I am your Mary Poppins!! After working for a family for just over 3 years their little one is going to preschool in 2024. I now have an opening to join a new family and welcome interest from anyone looking for commitment, kindness, nurturing and success. I love children and have looked after them across many stages of my whole life, as a local babysitter since I was 14 years old. Having a person of a mature age can provide some enormous benefits to both parents and children. I know life well and in very deeply different ways. I have an extensive understanding of the impact a moment or day in time can have on a child. Being there to pick up on these signals is very important. Recognising and sensing these subtle shifts need an awareness that comes with age. Keeping a child calm and happy is important and to have skills that remove the stress or anxiety is about the energy from the babysitter as well. To become relaxed and connected/engaged with a mature age babysitter can offer great comfort to any child. The love will always be there. I recently completed working with 3 children 5-6 days a week with their mother. Two children has special needs. In a short 8 months I was able to create new routines and boundaries that all three children, as well as both parents and four grandparents all had enormous benefits from and still implement these routines. I have a love relationship with this family. The mother is really eager to be a phone reference for me to share her experience with anyone who would like to consider employing me. I was a children's swimming coach when I was in my 30's and in the last 3 years also worked with children, as a club netball coach too. In the last 12 months I have been looking after two children under 5. I did this for free because I wanted to have a life with children aside and after two successful careers. Now that I am a child's book author, I want to be around them more. I learn from them while they are cared for by me. From breakfast through to dinner and bed time this year, I was able to develop an emotional bond with both children. We laugh a lot. I understand their behavior patterns as they grow through different stages. I've been an Aunt for nearly 20 years but they've grown up. I've been a guardian to my best friends children but they live interstate. I love getting to know each individual child and creating engagement with them and their particular interests. Sharing interests is a great start to building confidence within the child's self esteem. I want my life to also support young parents too. Being a parent can be a relentless experience when life throws up other challenges. I would be a great match with parents that have set routines and ethical structure for their children to learn within. I wouldn't be a good match for families that don't create boundaries to learn within and have structured routines to give them definition and security in their day. It's always going to be about the child and their daily development. They grow up so fast and each year has an impact on developing them into young adults. Additionally I live a very honest ethical life and hold strong to this personal philosophy. I have lived a life of integrity. I am extremely reliable and punctual as I understand leadership on many levels and the need to support people who are also learning in new areas in life and in their jobs. It has developed a deep level of understanding within me. I have my own car so collecting and driving to and from activities is a usual step for me. I just need children car seats to borrow for safety in travel etc. I am regularly available for Ad Hoc babysitting including weeknights and weekends.

Looking for: Casual Babysitting

Hello Families - local, and travelling :) I’m a qualified babysitter who works in a primary school whilst studying full-time! I have over six years of babysitting experience as well as experience as a live-in nanny in the UK from 2019-2021. Homeschooling two primary-aged children during the pandemic was part of this role as well as light, child-related household duties such as cooking, laundry, and tidying. Similar duties and afternoon tutoring are something I would be willing to accommodate as well. Due to work and studying requirements, I can assure services on a casual basis only during term time, though do not hesitate to contact me to discuss availability and options if in need of regular help (weekly or monthly). I love working in this industry and have a large passion for early childhood. If you have any queries please feel free to get in touch, I would love to hear from you! Ash :)

Looking for: Part-time,Casual Babysitting

Hello parents! My name is Bek and having recently finished my studies, I am looking for casual/part-time work to coincide with my current job as a hotel receptionist. I love kids and I'm very comfortable with all ages, especially young babies, and I have looked after relatives' children for as long as I can remember! I have spent the last 12-months volunteering casually with a local 'homework club' with primary school children from lower socioeconomic backgrounds, helping them work through basic numeracy and literacy exercises (as well as play games, read, and share healthy snacks). I have also previously volunteered as a teachers' aide at a Specialist School, working with primary-aged children with differing abilities and needs. I love reading, crafts and music (I always have a harmonica and egg shaker handy), and I would love to do these kinds of activities with your children! I have an up to date Working With Children Check and have recently had my police check. I have my driver's license (on my green Ps), have a 5-seater car and am more than comfortable commuting / transporting through Melbourne's CBD, inner and outer suburbs.

I have 3 years previous babysitting experience (references available), currently babysitting with another family,  but looking for a second job.  I also have WWC & Police Clearance. Despite being a male (!) I have great rapport with kids. I'm easy going, though at the same time, I'm very aware of manners, positive reinforcement and being a role model plus not treating them as kids (if that makes sense).  My responsible, nurturing and energetic personality has allowed me to build very strong and continuous relationships with past children that I have babysat. Never smoked/dont drink, interests are sport, taught Karate for 12 years, play tennis, pretty good cook & learning Japanese. I have very flexible roster x 7 days & available on short notice when needed.

Hi there! filled with a nurturing spirit from growing up in a pediatrician's home. As an Aupair in the USA, I managed a household, ran errands, family gave me a truck for them and to pick up and drop off kids at school, and created lasting memories with two delightful kids (5 years and 18 months). In Canada, I cared for a newborn until my journey brought me to Australia. Beyond being a nanny, I see childcare as an art—I love learning from kids as much as caring for them. I love outdoors activities, crafts, cooking, meal prepping and more. Very clean and a strong driver! Let's create a harmonious and joyful environment for your little ones.
