Looking for: Casual Babysitting

My name is Daniella. I am a 36 year old, Brazilian student. Although I moved to Melbourne 5 years ago, where I've been studied English for marketing and business and now I am studying marketing degree. In one year I‘all finish my course, but for now I am looking for a job as a casual baby-sitter to help me on monthly bills. When it comes to childcare experience, I have worked in the last few years as a nanny for some Australian families and for the past 4 years I've worked with the same family, looking after 3 girls, aged 8, 5 and a 3 years old . On my first exchange, I did the Au Pair program in Ireland, where I spent 4 years and worked for a lovely Irish family. There I took care of 2 children with 18 months old and 5 years old. I can comfortably say that I sincerely enjoy spending time with children. I would be happy to have the opportunity to speak with you, answer any questions you may have about me or my experiences with children, to learn more about your family, your interests and to learn more about what you expect from the nanny arrangement. Best regards, Daniella

Looking for: Casual Babysitting

Hey, I’m Jas! I have over 10 years nannying experience. 10 YEARS!! Let me tell you I’ve seen & done it all. I absolutely adore babies, toddlers & kids. A little bit about me - I run my own small business which is weekend work, however love to do nannying on the side so I am very flexible. I currently nanny a family of two on a Monday & Thursday. I’d like to do ad hoc nannying for a couple of families (think date lunches/ nights), you have to go away for work or a small couple getaway etc. In Perth, I nannied a beautiful family of three, (5months), 2 and a half & 4 year old. I have loved watching them grow over three years. I loved interactive play, as well as singing and dancing with them. We spent whole days together and go on 'adventures' in which I found fun activities to do. Whilst the kids are sleeping, I do light housework of cleaning the play area and any dishes used from making food. In Melbourne, I nannied a family of two girls, for two years, one is now three in March & the other is 6 in August. This was on a Monday and Tuesday full day. Last year on Wednesday’s I nannyied a beautiful 15 month old boy, however, they moved to Brisbane. Previously before I nannied a family of three girls for three years whilst I studied at University. The youngest was 10 months when I first started and it was an amazing experience to be with them as they slowly grew up into little girls. All girls were 2 years apart. The oldest being 8 years old when I left. I did everything with them - from taking them to kindy/ school / dancing/ gymnastics/ piano lessons/ the doctors and going shopping/ movies on days off! I also helped toilet train/ make breakfasts/ lunches/ dinners and bath time. I have had a ridiculous amount of nannying experience (10 years now) and becoming part of families. I love watching kids grow and learn. I completely understand ‘big little feelings’ and also have a strong interest in child development. I have literally seen & done it all in regards to nannying. I’ve done overnight stays, week long looking after (from school drop off to bed routine) to potty training. I am happy to help from birth, more so making sure mum and bub are settling in ok and sometimes you just need to have a shower alone - to looking after bub whilst you’re out for a walk. Sometimes you just need someone around to make you a coffee. Whilst bub gets older and you settle more into a routine, I’m there to help out with the other tasks. If you need to get back into working I’m reliable and trust worthy with the knowledge to react in all situations possible. If you have littlies and need the extra help, I’m there too. My preference would be minimum 4 hours and the ability to take them out on adventures (play grounds / walking / activity spaces). This would be obviously after we have become comfortable with each other. (We all get cabin fever staying inside all day). I'm an outgoing, friendly and caring person, who adores spending time and bonding with children. I believe it is important to have limited screen time and spend as much time playing outside, cooking and learning new things.
