Hello! I moved to Australia over eleven years ago from Canada to work as an au pair. I have over fifteen years of experience caring for children from as young as newborns to children older in age. I completed the Babysitter’s course at the age of twelve and my many years of childcare experience began at a young age by caring for family friends children as well as my younger brother and sister who are twelve and ten years younger than me. I have worked as an au pair and nanny over my time here in Australia, in both Victoria and in Western Australia. I have also been qualified as a family and children’s yoga teacher which I am very passionate about. I absolutely love working with children, being a positive influence in their life and being someone to help in teaching them important and meaningful practices like mindfulness and compassion. I had to keep the house clean, feed the baby, make her sleep and take her to some medical exams while her parents were working. I would like to return to this type of jobs because I feel really comfortable around kids and they also feel comfortable with me. I know that it's difficult to trust your own children to a stranger, but I can assure you that my cares for the kids are thorough.
