Looking for: Part-time,Casual Babysitting

I’m a super friendly, kind, fun, and radiant girl who gets along with kids effortlessly and is just looking for some casual work while I study. I can confidently say that any kid I’ve met has been loving and comfortable towards me. I also have past experience babysitting a family with four children, one of whom has Asperger’s, which has given me valuable experience supporting and connecting with neurodiverse kids in a patient and understanding way. I graduated Year 12 with an ATAR of 91.75 from Methodist Ladies’ College in Kew and am currently studying a Bachelor of Biomedicine at The University of Melbourne. Outside of study, my hobbies and interests include reading, science, makeup, fashion, music, and going to the gym! I also have experience tutoring primary and high school students in English, Maths, and Science, so I’d be more than happy to help in those areas if needed. (My availability may lack before school and during the day due to uni classes.)

Looking for: Full-time,Part-time,Casual Babysitting,Au Pair

I’m a 24-year-old from Hungary who is easy-going, kind, and enjoys spending time with children and seeing the world through their eyes. I’m moving to Australia for a year on a Working Holiday visa, and becoming an Au Pair or nanny feels like the perfect way to start my journey while supporting a family. I’ve worked as a camp counsellor in the United States with children aged 6–13, cared for my younger sister and cousins, and volunteered with a non-profit organization where I organized games, crafts, and activities for kids. These experiences have taught me to be patient, responsible, and adaptable. I can’t wait to bring my positive and caring attitude to your family while exploring life in Australia! :)

Looking for: Casual Babysitting

Hi, I'm Lucie and I'm 25 years old from the UK but I have been living in Australia for the past 2 years. I am currently based in St Kilda and I'm looking for casual babysitting work. Throughout my time in Australia I have been working as an Au Pair / nanny with 2 different families. Last year I spent 7 months caring for 2 young boys in Queensland and I have just completed 10 months caring and nannying for a 6 year old boy here in Melbourne. These duties included before and after school care ( prep breakfast and lunch boxes, taking and picking up from school, homework, playing, dinner prep and bed time routines). I have also been doing weekend work for other families in between from ages as young as 10 months to 11 year olds. I enjoy activities with the children such as arts, crafts, sports, walking to parks, and games. I believe my confidence with children has exceptionally grown with having 2 years of experience in childcare as well as verbal communication, patience, and creativity. Most importantly the safety and well-being of your child is the crucial factor when working in this sector and I would love to help your families in caring for your children.

Looking for: Full-time,Part-time,Casual Babysitting

Hi! My name is Niamh — I’m 25 and originally from Ireland, currently living in Melbourne on a 417 Working Holiday Visa. I am just recently back to Melbourne after completing my 88 Days for my 2nd year visa! As the oldest of three, I’ve always had a natural role caring for children, and over the years I’ve gained extensive experience looking after little ones from newborns up to 15 years old — including twins and larger families of four or five kids. I’m a warm, caring, and active person who loves keeping kids engaged — whether that’s heading out for walks, spending time at the park, or finding fun ways to stay busy at home. I’m also great at maintaining routines, from school drop-offs and pick-ups to meal prep, nap schedules, tummy time, and daily activities. I have previous experience keeping detailed records of feeding times, naps, and medication administration to ensure everything runs smoothly. I hold a valid Working With Children Check and can provide references from families I’ve babysat for. I also have a driver’s licence (though no car at the moment) and am more than happy to help with light housework — and even walk the family dog! I also have no problem getting a police check if needed! Regarding casual babysitting, I am available most evenings and happy to stay overnight with prior notice given, as I do currently have current commitments with other families and other jobs! I am more than happy to have a call, coffee or chat prior to beginning work to make sure you think I am the right fit for your family! Have a lovely day! *rate is $40 as of my experience with kids and rate with previous family - however willing to negotiate with the right family!*

Hi! I’m Chrissy, a friendly and responsible babysitter based in Melbourne. I graduated from RMIT last year with a degree in Marketing, and because I love children, I’m now studying Early Childhood Education. I also work casually in before- and after-school care programs, and have experience working in different schools and kindergartens. During school holidays, I’ve looked after groups of primary school–aged children — helping with meals, taking them to activities like tennis lessons, and assisting with routines like showers and getting ready. These experiences taught me how to stay organised and keep things fun and calm, even with a few kids at once. I really enjoy spending time with children, doing creative activities, and helping them learn while having fun. I have all the required certificates (WWCC, First Aid, etc.) and experience caring for both young and school-aged children. I’m reliable, patient, and love creating a safe and positive environment for every child I look after. Looking forward to meeting your family! 😊

My name is Sunday, I am a Mothercraft nurse worked at well known Early Parenting hospital for over 9 years. I have worked with children for over 25 years. I am a positive parenting advocate and encourage children to express themselves and discover who they are. I believe boundaries are also important, they keep children safe, help them understand and learn through what is appropriate and what is not - this can be achieved through positive guidance. I enjoy light house work and the challenge of keeping up with the washing and ironing. Cooking healthy light easy meals. If you are gourmet foodie - just leave the recipe out for me. Children thrive on routine, if you are feeling a little out of control and you would like your child/ren and household to have a routine or you currently have one I would love to work with your family. I am very open and honest and if I believe if something is not working within the family unit and the family as a whole is not thriving but only surviving - I will want to work with your family to make positive changes.
