Job Details: Casual Babysitting
I have a 5 year old daughter and am seeking a babysitter for casual babysitting, usually in weekends and evening times.
We live at the top of Melbourne city, facing Carlton Gardens.
She is very sporty (and loves soccer and is looking forward to learning to swim), and cultural (and loves museums), and playing games, and art and craft.
She is currently at kindergarten, and babysitting times are odd evening or weekend day by negotiation.
She is a very happy joyful child, and enjoys most activities and is very active. She is quite strong-willed, and I often give her two choices so she feels that she has some autonomy.
The apartment building we live in does have a swimming pool, and is located a short walk from the Museum, and Carlton Gardens.
Pay $25 an hour and babysitting is usually 4 hours ($100), or longer periods by negotiation and availability of babysitter.
Hello wonderful carers!
We are looking for experienced babysitters to help us on nights or weekends every so often. We don't have the children's grandparents to help so our resources are limited. Our job is a lot of networking so we're hoping to extend our baby sitting options.
Our girls are Ruby - 8 months old and Ava 3 years old.
Please send through a message about yourself and also any references you may have.
Thanks so much

Hello there lovely babysitters / nannies,
My name is Lauren, I’m 31 and have two darling little girls. Marley is 20m old, she’s an outgoing Pisces and a real character! Edith is 7 months old, a very determined and giggly Taurus.
My husband Charlie is a chef and works nights / long hours - so I am looking for a confident, gentle, bubbly carer to assist me with the girls and the household. Household tasks would be helping with the washing, tidying the toys, cleaning up after the girl’s - we have a cleaner once a week! We are after someone approximately 20 hours a week. Marley is at the daycare down the road Monday, Thursday and fridays which she loves, there’s a lot of high fives and waving on the way out haha.
We are a loud, fun household with lots of laughing, playing, art, music and antics. We as parents really trust our girls’ and their intuition, we love watching them grow and thrive while they discover who they are. I encourage the girls to get out to the pool, muesum, zoo, art classes, music class, any ideas are always welcomed so they have a variety of influence and experiences.
If any of the above interests you please send me a message and we can organise to meet in person :)
Thanks for you time have a lovely day. X
We have three great children - a nearly 8-year-old girl (year 2), 11- year-old girl (year 5) and a 13-year-old boy (year 7) who is quite self-sufficient.
The role would involve picking the youngest two up from school in Toorak, bringing them home (or activity), preparing lunches for the following day, preparing kids' dinner and cleaning up afterwards, help/prompting with homework and supervising piano practice, helping kids pack up their stuff and prepare for following day etc. I've requested Tuesdays and Thursdays, but there will be offer of other days and also some evenings too if suits.
We will need regular help next year three/four days per week and it would be great to find someone who could get to know us this year and then hit the ground running when school commences in February. We've been very fortunate and have only had three nannies over the past seven years so I love the idea of finding someone who can be with us long-term. That said, it's not a prerequisite that you're able to continue with us in 2022 at all, just an opportunity for the right person.
Looking forward to hearing from you!
We have a cooperative and empathic 5yo who loves singing and colouring. We are looking for someone to help with drop offs to a local kindy/family day care (within walking distance) on Tuesday or Wednesday mornings to start ASAP.
We can add pick ups on Wednesday afternoons if you're keen. Happy to add in some light housework if you want to have more hours.
We are two medical professionals who are looking for someone who is punctual, honest and vaccinated (not just to COVID). Our LO would prefer someone who can do nice hair-dos although we all maintain that beauty comes from the inside. We'd also prefer someone local and who isn't allergic to cats.
This can be offered on an Au Pair style arrangement as accommodation is available. Mostly looking for after school support for 2-3 days per week plus some babysitting. On occasion may negotiate more support as one parent may need to travel for work.

Job includes pick up and drop off at 2 schools and transport to sporting activities, grocery shopping, household errands, meal prep, homework supervision, light housework etc. This is a permanent salaried position including school holidays. We have 3 kids - Girl (8yrs), Boy (6yrs) and Girl (2yrs).
The role requires caring for our 2.5yr old during day - adventures to the museum/beach/park - and collecting the older kids after school. (In lockdown, we'd be looking for help to take the older kids to the park in the afternoons).
We're looking for a nanny who has a bubbly confidence, terrific amounts of initiative for creative adventures, and gets deep into playing with the kids (jumping on the trampoline, kicking soccer balls, playing with the doll house...).
We are a warm family. We've had 2x Nannies previously that worked with us 1-3years and both would be willing to be a reference for us.

Prepare babies meals and if time help with our meals/washing/vacuuming. Our requirements for the ideal Nanny are - experienced, working with children's check, loving and caring, must have had the covid19 vaccine and reliable.
We are a Rainbow Family of 6 (four kids). Our children are aged 9, 6 and 3 year old twins.
We also have a very cute kitten.
Our kids are bright and bubbly, fun and sensitive.
They love building, creating, nature, make-believe and stories.
We would love a carer who is fabulously creative and energetic.
You would have bucketloads of initiative and experience and be ready to get your hands dirty!!
Due to our twins’ health conditions (born at 24 weeks gestation) we can only allow fully vaccinated people into our home.
Ideally you will help us out with:
Care of children,
Children's meal prep,
Developing creative play prompts,
Keeping play spaces tidy,
Cleaning up after kids dinner/lunch etc.
One of us is generally home with you during the day, and we tend to do a divide and conquer arrangement during the day based on needs, medical appointments etc, so while sometimes you might take the four kids to the park, generally you will only have 2-3 kids in your care at one time!!
