Looking for: Part-time,Casual Babysitting

Hello! My name is Antonia, and I am currently studying to become a special needs teacher at the University of Cologne. My subjects are German and English, and my specialisations are emotional and social development as well as hearing and communication. Alongside my studies, I work as an early childhood educator and twice a week as a babysitter in Cologne, so I have solid practical experience with children of different ages and needs. From April to July 2026, I will be in Melbourne completing my teaching internship at the Deutsche Schule Melbourne. During this time, I am looking for a babysitting job to support a family during the week. My internship hours are Monday to Friday, 9:00–15:30, so I am available for babysitting from around 4:00 pm onwards until the evening (open end). I am responsible, calm, and caring, and I am used to working with clear structures and routines. I’m happy to help with playing, reading, homework, dinner, and bedtime. I speak German, English, and Spanish, and families usually describe me as warm, reliable, and patient. I will be available in Melbourne from April until the end of July 2026, and I would be very happy to support a family during that time.

Looking for: Casual Babysitting

Hi there families 👋 This is just a small snapshot of one of the people you’re considering trusting with your child — I’m a qualified early childhood and primary teacher with over 10 years’ experience working across kindergartens, primary schools, and special education settings. I have recently moved into a casual teaching position to have some flexibility in my days, while still doing what I love. My practice is trauma-informed, inclusive, and grounded in safety, connection, and respect. I support children to build confidence, emotional intelligence, and self-regulation through calm guidance, play, and co-regulation. I bring art, music, storytelling, dancing, and laughter into each day — alongside early literacy, numeracy, body safety, sensory supports, and social learning. I’ve worked closely with families and professionals across a range of complex needs, including Child Protection Services, NDIS, Cohealth, and allied health teams. I’ve supported children through challenging behaviours, medical incidents, and big life transitions — always with care, empathy, and professionalism. I also offer homework support up to Grade 4 and love helping children who may need that little bit of extra time, patience, or understanding. Most of all, I aim to be someone both you and your child feel safe with — consistent, kind, fun, and trustworthy. ☺️ P.s. Happy to provide my full resume and references post initial contact.

Looking for: Full-time,Part-time,Casual Babysitting

Hello parents! My name is Faith and I am an experienced nanny (4 years in the industry) and am also completing my Bachelor of Psychology, which has provided me a deep understanding of childhood developmental needs. I am very soft-natured and gentle; these attributes did not serve me very well in the hospitality industry, but kids and parents love me! I cherish every moment spent creating a secure and nurturing atmosphere for children to thrive. I believe that growing up in a big family (with five siblings) also taught me the importance of fostering a sense of security and belonging in children. I believe in the power of positive reinforcement, and I strive to create an environment where children feel heard, valued, and respected. Of course, nothing is more important than play. I will absolutely get messy and silly with your child, and I am not afraid to dance or explore imaginary worlds. As your nanny, I am committed to providing exceptional care and prioritising their well-being above all else. Parents can rest assured knowing that their little ones are in the hands of a kind, reliable, and nurturing caregiver. I look forward to hearing from you! Sincerely Faith

Looking for: Full-time,Part-time,Casual Babysitting,Au Pair

Hi, I’m Zaira, a caregiver with a deep love for children As the eldest of six children, caring for others has always been a big part of my life. From a young age, I naturally stepped into a role of responsibility, helping to look after my siblings, cousins, and extended family while our parents worked. Growing up in Africa, that kind of support within the family is second nature — it’s how we’re raised, and it’s something I’ve always taken pride in. After moving to Australia, that same love for caring didn’t change. I’ve looked after my neighbour’s daughter, and most memorably, a beautiful baby girl named Maya. I began caring for her when she was just three months old, and stayed with her until she turned one. She became like family to me, and being part of her early milestones, from her first smile to her first steps, was incredibly special. Working with children brings me real joy. I love watching their personalities grow, listening to their little stories, and being someone they feel safe and happy around. I’ve always been known for being patient, gentle, and reliable whether it’s keeping routines in place, helping with learning and play, or simply offering comfort when it’s needed most. Looking after children isn’t just something I do. It’s something I genuinely care about. Every child deserves to feel loved, supported, and understood, and I always aim to create that kind of space when I’m with them. I’m grateful for every opportunity to be part of a child’s life and to support families in whatever way I can.
