Hi! I’m an international student from Italy, I’m currently studying for a Master in Art therapy at the western Sydney uni. I worked as nanny for many many years, while I was studying for my BA and during the first wave of covid I took care of 2 brothers and in 2019 I worked as AuPair in Melbourne :) I have the skills required to be a great nanny, I leaned to be extra patient, I’m always listening to the kid’s needs and most importantly I always want they to have a good time and to have fun, even when we have to do “boring” homework :) I’m also very sweet and extra reliable I have a WWCC and I’m also currently working as art teacher in some schools:) Hope you will consider my profile :)))

Dear, family It is with great enthusiasm that I submit my application for the nanny/household manager position advertised by your family. Having babysat for families and friends in Newcastle since I was 15, I have extensive experience as a babysitter and have proved myself to be a friendly, down to earth and reliable babysitter. Being the eldest of four and having many younger cousins whom I love spending time with, I have an extremely bubbly personality which enables me to easily build relationships with those around me. Also having had au-pairs for seven years of my childhood to assist my parents at home, I recognise the influential role a nanny plays in a child's life and the life-long impact they can have on a family. I am a passionate and determined individual, who is enthusiastic about working. At school, I have been consistently recognised for my diligence and persistence, as reflected in an "Effort in Schoolwork" award at the Newcastle Grammar School (NGS) Speech Night in 2021. I strongly believe I would be the perfect fit to your family and would welcome the opportunity to meet with you to discuss my application.

Hi There! I am currently a 5th year student studying a Masters of Chiropractic at Macquarie University in Sydney! I have had a range of baby sitting experience, with ages ranging from <1-15 years of age. In addition to this, coming from a big family has meant I have always been surrounded by children of all ages. Constantly having young ones around to entertain and look-after has lead to the confidence I now have in supervising children in a way that they are made to feel comfortable and safe! I have experience working with autistic children also. Furthermore, I am trained in first aid & CPR. I am a reliable, mature and capable individual who would be happy to assist is anyway possible. I understand the trust a parent would be placing in me to look after their child and thus can ensure my optimal attention and care be given to the child/ren at all times :)

Nanny with 18+ years experience passionate about working with the development and education of children. I have extensive experience with newborns, toddlers, children's up to age 10, multiples, nanny share, and disabilities.
Happy to keep log book for infant feeding, sleep, play, nappy change, and so on. Common questions parents ask their nannies during interviews: 1.) What inspired you to choose to work with young children? I was 18 and working in hospitality and not enjoying it. I watched an episode of Kids Say the Darnedest Things and said “every day working with kids would be one hilarious day after the next” The next week I landed a job at a daycare center working with the 3 year olds and I was right, everyday those kids would make me laugh out loud. But what has kept me in childcare is feeling that my job is directly nurturing the future of this world. 2.) What are you the most passionate about with your work? Education and physical development. I have a very good eye on how the physical body is developing and I’m very passionate about preventing physical problems by aiding the body to be used correctly when learning crawling, walking, etcetera. Education through play, where it does not feel like learning, is very important to me. A child feeling smart is the first step in them being smart. 3.) Which activities do you feel are important in a child's development during the early learning years? Interaction and repetition. Any games or activities interacting with others is key. Reading, singing, play time that incorporates multiple senses and movement like, paint, play-duh, sand and so on. For the under 1 year old, lots and lots of touch, singing, and exploring the outdoors. 4. Describe the most stressful situation you have been in when caring for children? Conflict with parents is always the most stressful part of childcare. Parents using positive reinforcement on negative behaviors ie: I make dinner for the children/ child, explaining this is what is for dinner, its ok if you don’t want it but that’s all there is for now. And then a parent coming in and giving the child a cookie. Telling a child he or she can do the next activity after they help tidy up but the parent comes in a gives them a new toy while there are 3 puzzles thrown across the floor. Explain the strategies you used to manage the issue. Communicating with the parent, explaining the situation with them and asking for their help to be able to do my job well. If you like my answers and you’d like to chat feel free to give me a call I look forward to talking to you about how I can best care for the needs of your family! Please provide email address and I will send you through my cv with a more detailed outline of my experiences.
