We have 3 x busy and active kids 11, 13, 15, looking for a happy, energetic and caring individual to provide supervision, ensure homework is done, have fun, and provide some assistance with after school and activity drop and collect.

Our youngest is walking distance from our local state school and enjoys sport, music, and scouts. Our oldest is grade 9 at high-school in Toowong, and our middle child in grade 7 in South Brisbane. They have a similar variety of interests across sport, music and scouts.

They are all diligent and like to ensure homework is done before playing / pool / backyard / craft / cooking / games at home.

Would be great if you enjoy some meal prep / creative afternoon tea, occasional help with some light housework but mostly friendly and engaging with the kids.

Would need to use own car to help transport to and from school and extra curricular activities.

Both of us work full-time, with some flexibility in our hours so we are home at times but not able to give our kids (and their logistics) the consistent attention and support required between 3pm and 5:30pm.

Would look for after school care Monday to Thursday through the school year, with some hours also available Fridays and during school holidays.

We are a Auchenflower family with 3 girls (aged 9, 10 and 12) looking for help 2-3 afternoons a week with school pickup (until 5 or 6), homework supervision, driving to activities, having fun and some light help around the household (such unpacking school bags, washing lunch boxes, helping put kids clothes away). Additional hours pop up on the school holidays and on weekends if you are available.

The Opportunity

We are a professional couple in our 30’s looking for an energetic live out Nanny to support us in caring for our young children and helping with light house work within New Farm. If you are organised, focused and passionate about children’s development, enjoy playing with kids and have flexibility with your schedule we’d love to hear from you.

We have 4 kids, older boys are currently 1.5 and 3.5 year old and twin girls are 4 months old. We are lucky to have both sets of grandparents live close by in the same suburb as us. We need a babysitter help when all 4 kids are home with us to give us a hand.

The Hours
We are looking for someone to work some set hours and some additonal hours on need basis.

We primarily require assistance on Mondays second half of the day, Wednesday mornings, and weekends . Occasionally we require someone to work extra hours so we can head out for dinner or attend work meetings.

All applicants must meet the following criteria –
* Minimum of 2 years nanny/babysitting experience
* 18 years and over
* Have experience in planning fun and age-appropriate activities for children
* Be well presented with a neat and tidy appearance
* Display strong communication skills
* Vaccinations, we will require disclosure of up to date vaccination status

We are looking for a babysitter/nanny to care for our two boys (3 months & 4.5 yrs) a few hours per week + casual weekends, with hours to increase once I return to work in the new year (eldest will be in prep from January 2025).

Hello! I’m looking for a down to earth and engaged carer to help with mornings Monday to Friday 6:30am - 8:30am, and Wednesdays 6:30am-12:30pm. We live an organic lifestyle, with no chemicals or fragrances and healthy living is a core value. We are looking for a permanent part time nanny for our family in Bulimba from mid September 2024. We have two lovely boys aged 6 and 4 years old. We are both hospital shift workers and need someone to be able to do school and kindy drop off locally 7-9 am in the morning and a 3-7pm pick up (occassionally til late hours in the evening depending on our shifts) on fixed Wednesdays and Thursdays. We also require this on the Fridays on a semi regular basis. We are looking for someone enthusiastic, kid loving and with positive energy who we will treat as part of our family. Due to the nature of our work we really need someone who is punctual, reliable and has their own car. Happy to pay cash if needed.

We will be traveling from Canada for the month of October with a 3 and 5 year old. They are both level 1 autistic, super bright, playful, creative, hilarious little girls. They love playing outside, reading, doing arts and crafts, and doing sensory play. I am looking for someone to be able to come and give me regular breaks and give them some structure. Assets for a candidate would be knowledge and experience with autism. She must be kind, caring, confident, understanding about meeting dysregulation with both gentleness and firm boundaries, and hopefully willing to lend a hand if she sees something that needs doing. I'm pretty flexible on scheduling, but it would be a few days a week during daytime hours. We can offer guaranteed work every Thursday from 8:30-5pm and every second Saturday

The care will be administrated through a registered and certified In Home Care provider (Northern Rivers Children Service).
Which will require ABN, Police Check and Child Care Certificate.

Hello! I'm visiting my parents home woth my 5month old. On the first day I am going to a special lunch (11.30 til 3pm) in the city and need someone to be at their house with the baby while I am out. One of my sisters who also lives there will be there with her carer (she has downs syndrome) so being happy to join the crew is important. If we get along well, there may be more occasions for babysitting as I am coming up almost ever week at the moment due to family members in hospital.

- reading with the children
- homework
- educational and fun activities with the children
- follow instructions from therapists on weekly tasks and exercises that need to be done
- drive kids to therapy appointment once the kids build a relationship with you
- help with a few daily tasks eg dishwasher, lunchboxes, cut up fruit and veggies
- help kids prep school bags for next day
