Looking for: Casual Babysitting

Hi there, I am a 30 y/o speech pathologist by day, working with children with disabilities and am wanting to get back into the babysitting world that I've had over 15 years of experience in, on a casual basis. I started babysitting in high school and began nannying finished. I have done long term nannying, doing 12 hour days for 2 kids from the ages of 1.5 and 4, for 5 years. I'd be available from 5pm most weeknights and weekends

Looking for: Part-time,Casual Babysitting

My name is Sophie, I am 25 and I have been in Melbourne 1 year, relocating from Perth. I have worked as a nanny/ babysitter for multiple different families since I was 15 (over 10 years). I have looked after kids from ages ranging from 1 to 13. Duties included everything from morning routines, school pick-up and drop off, homework, house cleaning, night time routine, school holiday full days, young childcare full days. I did this full time, along with a job in retail. Since graduating from UWA in 2017, I have worked full time as a Development Manager, still babysitting to help out my previous families when I can during this time. I worked full time in Property Development in 2024, however I am currently taking a small career break this year, working casually as a retail assistant in Melbourne. I am looking for some part-time or casual babysitting in the mean time, until I make my next career move (which could be many months). Once I start my full-time job I would still be happy to consider continuing to babysit/ nanny where possible. I would describe myself as upbeat, outgoing, driven, active, positive and easy to get along with.

Looking for: Part-time,Casual Babysitting

My name is Anna, I'm 28 years old and live in the Clifton Hill with my partner and two cats. I'm currently taking a break from my career in professional communications and am looking for work as a babysitter for families that might live close within my area. I have plenty of experience babysitting, as this was something I did regularly while I was studying at University. I've looked after children of all ages, whether it's helping out with morning and night routines, keeping them engaged throughout the day, or assisting with with household tasks. Whilst I don't currently have a WWCC I'd be happy to obtain this if needed. I'll be available over the next few month or so regularly, however will then be only available for weekend work from mid-March / April.

Looking for: Casual Babysitting

Hello, I’m a nanny and babysitter in North Fitzroy with more than a decade of experience in all aspects of childcare for every age, including live-in sole care. I've looked after three children, five fur-babies and one bird all at once and another time four brothers after-school… Currently I’m still chasing and being chased by kids as they head of to primary school after watching them grow up through the pandemic. Imaginative and role play are some of my favourite activities as well as any opportunity to draw, make art, learn and read stories. Some afternoons I’m watching kids swim and play basketball or just catching up quickly before they head to bed. I’m more than happy to clean, cook and fold washing - whatever needs doing. With some room in my timetable it would be lovely to meet and assist another family.

Looking for: Full-time, Part-time, Casual Babysitting Hello parents, My name is Tracey, and I am a vibrant, energetic 54-year-old with a lifelong passion for working with children. From an early age, I discovered my love for caring for babies, toddlers, and young kids, starting as a babysitter at 13 in my hometown of Castlemaine. In my 20s, I worked in childcare centres before transitioning into a career as a professional singer, alongside raising two wonderful sons who are now 27 and 19. Over the years, I’ve remained deeply involved in caregiving—helping raise my nieces, babysitting for families, and working in aged care and disability support. For the past two years, I have been a regular babysitter for three children under the age of six, further strengthening my hands-on experience. My Approach to Childcare I strive to create a nurturing, fun, and structured environment where children feel safe, supported, and engaged. I believe in the importance of routine, ensuring children are well-rested and happy. I love incorporating creativity and learning into daily activities, whether through reading, music, arts and crafts, puzzles, or imaginative play. With my background in music, I enjoy singing lullabies, teaching songs, and even using music as a calming tool. I also have a strong focus on health and well-being—I love cooking nutritious meals (I come from an Italian background and am confident in the kitchen!), and I encourage cleanliness and appropriate dressing for all weather conditions. Light household duties are absolutely fine, as I work best in a clean and organized space. Why Choose Me? ✔️ Over 40 years of childcare experience (personal and professional) ✔️ Background in aged care and disability support, specializing in dementia care ✔️ A warm, friendly, and adaptable personality—great with kids of all ages ✔️ Love for reading, singing, creative play, and making learning fun ✔️ Honest, reliable, and flexible with scheduling ✔️ Animal lover! Looking for: Part-time,Casual Babysitting

Hi Families! I’m Dominique ! Currently I am 21 years old, only having moved to Melbourne around 3 months ago from the country town of Rochester. I am currently working part time at the Royal Children’s hospital which I absolutely love, it's very rewarding! I would love to eventually return to uni and pursue a carer in paediatrics allied health as I feel like I have grown to love that environment and have an impact on the care they receive. I love being able to provide care for children, as they are such resilient little beings as well as providing support for the families and carers present. This I feel highlights my love for caring for children, with around 4 years of babysitting experience at present for children as young as 6 months old up to teenagers. One of the past families I used to care for on a regular basis was a family of 2 children, ages 5 and 3, I feel I was able to grow a beautiful bond with the kids and loved how excited they were to see me on the days i would babysit them! I would entertain them through various activities, including inside and outside games, going to the park, as well as some quiet time as it is sometimes needed! I have experience with children as young as 6 months old, and have juggled up to 3 kids at time! I have a warm and nurturing nature and I look forward to discussing with you further about the possibility of caring for your children and fitting into your family as best I can! Can’t wait to hear from you, Dom xx
