Hello! I'm Sophie, I'm 21 years old and I have been living in South Yarra for around 10 months now, originally moved out from my family home on the Mornington Peninsula to be closer to University. I'm in my 3rd year of a Bachelor of Science (majoring in human structure and function) at Melbourne Uni, and I'm working as a Ward Clerk at a local hospital casually during the week. At the moment, I'm looking to do some babysitting on the weekends/adhoc work when needed, as a second casual job for a lovely and welcoming family. During the week I am quite busy with work and Uni study, but happy to do the occassional weekday or friday night if our schedules align. If you are looking for someone to be there on school holidays, and on the weekends, or a late Friday night, let me know! I've babysat throughout highschool and have younger cousins (from age 4) so I have some experience looking after and interacting with children, and I would really love to continue building my skills in how to best support them, by learning more about how they think, communicate and develop at different ages. I am a very active and responsible person, I'm patient and empathetic and I enjoy engaging kids with games and fun activities. I'm more than happy to help and guide your children with any homework, and of course some housework/cleaning and light cooking. I hold a WWCC (employee), Mental Health First Aid (standard) and am more than happy to provide a police check. I'm comfortable with any pets (I have a family dog and 2 cats), I do have my drivers license (P2), but currently do not have my own car. I'm also happy to share my resume upon request. Thank you :)
