Over the last few years I have worked in Aboriginal Public Health while completing my Master of Public Policy at Melbourne University. Having just completed my masters, I am looking for casual and part-time nannying or babysitting work before starting full-time work as a policy officer in 2025.
I grew up in a busy, big and strong network of families and friends. Our lives continue to be tightly interwoven. We challenge one another, make each other laugh, and show each other a great deal of support and care. I remember the important place that my own babysitters and nannies had throughout my childhood within this network. Being a carer for another family is work that I believe in, work that is close to my heart.
Taking care of my little sister was a big part of my life growing up. I also babysat for a number of different families throughout high school. Though I moved into other forms of work after I finished school, I am passionate about working within the domestic sphere, the place where we unwind, reflect, play, nourish, nurture, connect, create, yarn, and rest. I also love spending time with children who I know have just as much to teach me as I do them. My professional references are not in the field of nannying or babysitting, but I have a range of other professional and personal references.
