We are currently seeking a professional nanny to assist in the daily care of our two young girls on a part time basis. The position is for 1-2 afternoons per week, with some flexibility on preferred hours for the right person.
We are looking for someone who is fun-loving, creative, dependable, and understands the importance of planning and safety when caring for children. The right candidate will be a sunny character who aligns with the gentle parenting approach and has a genuine love of working with children. Applicants must hold (or be working towards) qualifications in early childhood (or a related field), and must have experience in caring for young children (aged 5-9).
If you meet the above criteria, and you have a patient, warm, and caring nature, then we would like to hear from you. All applicants will be required to submit a written application including an up-to-date resume.
Hi! Myself (Laura) and my husband Matt need help with our little almost 8 month baby girl Billie, as we’ll both be working. Hours are likely to be 4-5 hours on a Monday afternoon (approx 1-5.30) and a whole day Wednesday +/- Thursday. The job would include feeding (bottle and small amounts of solids), changing, putting down for naps (currently naps twice at least 3 hours total if not 4), playing and taking for walks/out for local activities if weather permits and tidying up after the above Billie related jobs also. She is an awesome baby, super happy and pretty low maintenance and very cute (but obviously I’m not biased). If you’re happy to do some occasional light housework jobs +/- cooking that would be very welcomed! But not essential 😊

• Current Working with Children Check (or willing to obtain ASAP)

Wednesday: 7:30am to 9am and 3pm to 6pm

I live in a modern house with a pool and also provide a car and fuel for school drop offs and pick ups.
The girls are generally well behaved and lots of fun to hang out with. I can provide references for previous au pairs / babysitters who have worked with our family.
Whilst the main priority will always be looking after the girls, some light housework (eg. emptying dishwasher or doing a load of laundry) and meal preparation (getting started on cooking family dinner before I get home from work) would also be required.
Rate is negotiable depending on level of experience.
I look forward to hearing from you :)

My children and I are looking for a friendly, caring person to help with my 9 year old autistic son Isaac and his 13 year old sister Eve. I work full time and I am a sole parent: we are saying goodbye to our current caregiver because she has taken a nanny position in the UK and will be leaving us at the end of August, so we are looking for a new person to help us.
Isaac is diagnosed with ASD and ADD - he is a beautiful, gentle, caring young man, who loves Minecraft, Pokémon and Roblox! We would like a fun, bubbly person to help Isaac get ready for school, do his homework and participate in his after-school activities.
Isaac attends mainstream primary school and he has after-school activities that would require a person with a driver's licence and car. He currently has Minecraft therapy at home on Wednesdays at 3.30pm, Parkour at a local gym on Thursdays at 3.15pm and Hockey training at our local club on Fridays at 4pm, so Wednesday to Friday afternoons are essential.
Formal qualifications as a support worker are not necessary but some level of understanding of Autism would be very helpful.
An ABN and Working with Children's Card are mandatory: Isaac is partially funded by NDIS and we require an invoice for your services. If you do not have an ABN, it is very easy to apply for one - I can provide this information if necessary.
We also have domestic workers insurance.
The hours of work are 7.30am to 8.30am and 3pm to 5.30pm weekdays (Wednesday to Friday afternoons are essential).
Some casual weekend work is also offered but not compulsory.
We are a family of 5 - nearly 5 yr old (boy, kindy), 3 year old (girl, pre kindy) and 6 month old (boy). Our children are spirited, creative and loving little souls who are the center of our universe. We try very hard to have a routine that suits them and makes sure everyone gets what they need. Our current nanny has clashes with her uni timetable, so we are now on the hunt for a new nanny to help from 2-6:30pm Tuesdays and Wednesdays, plus additional hours as available/to be negotiated (e.g. Monday mornings 8-12pm). The role will involve school pick ups, light house work (e.g. tidying rooms/folding washing), meal & lunch box prep. I am currently on maternity leave and am focused on our 6 month old, so this job is mostly "shared charge". I am transitioning back to part time work in 2023 so we have a long term outlook for our next dream nanny.
Helping with looking after 2 children (older is out Tue/Fri and in pre-K Wed /Thu til 3:30), grandmother is on site to provide main caring but needs an extra set of hands with changing, feeding, playing, meal prep, laundry, tidying and minding kids while she has a shower/eats etc. Mini labradoodle with special health needs also present, so must be comfortable around dogs.
Hi, I am looking for an afterschool carer for my two boys aged 8 and 10. The days would usually be Tue - Thur and from around 3pm until 5.30/6pm with occasional later days (subject to availability). There would be an occasional Monday or Friday, but not usually.
I am looking for someone to pick them up, run them around to various activities, supervise homework and play with them, get them out etc. They are pretty self sufficient food wise and have no allergies or special needs.
This role will not require housework or cooking or food prep (outside of cutting up fruit/veg for afternoon tea etc) but does require someone who is going to play and do things with the kiddos. This role would suit anyone who wants a few extra hours of work outside of school hours and I can generally be pretty flexible to fit around days needed for study/personal commitments etc.
Will need own car but open to discussing petrol allowance if not incorporated into hourly rate.
