Looking for: Part-time,Casual Babysitting

Hi there! My name is Lucy, I’m 28 years old and moved over from London to Melbourne at the start of last year. I was working for the Civil Service there on policy legislation but fancied a change of pace in sunny Australia- I love it here! I have had lots of babysitting experience before (and love kids!), including working for a lovely family (boy and girl aged 3 and 6) when I first arrived and have 3 brothers and sisters so I am used to a little chaos at times. I have also worked with children, including disabled children, teaching them to ride horses on the beaches in England (although I’m sure not as nice as the beaches in Australia!). I’m easy going, responsible but love to have fun and would love to find a nice babysitting job in Melbourne. Open to all ages/personalities/requirements! My number is 0406883458 if you would like to chat furthe.

Looking for: Part-time,Casual Babysitting

Hello my name is Emma, Looking for part-time nannying, casual babysitting - as well as mohter's helper roles. I have always loved looking after children, I have 17 years experience. The ages I have looked after have ranged from young babies (3months) to upper primary school. As a nanny I enjoy creating a safe, fun and engaging environment - with sensory, art/craft and outdoor activities. I also like fitting in a walk/outing around the routine of the children in my care. I see my role to work alongside the parents, making sure we are on the same page, I like to talk through or write down what happened in a communication diary as I am mindful and respectful of family time. Happy to do light house-work, occasional errands and food prep - so long as this does not take away from the care of the children. I am an artist and bring creative ideas to my role. I am looking for part-time mother's helper work or casual babysitting. Especially interested in half days spread over the week. Happy to negotiate for right fit. Families have said that I am loving, reliable and a responsible carer of children. I look forward to hearing from you soon. Emma :-)

Hi lovely families, Welcome to my profile ☺️ 🌸 I'm a young at heart mature woman with a beautiful independent 31 year old son. I'm very fit & go to Pilates classes twice a week & also walk daily & enjoy dog-walking too for some clients. I have a positive, upbeat & engaging personality. I was a School Captain & have the ability to get along with all types of people. I have done some voluntary work for Single Family camps creating programs for children at these camps & I was responsible for keeping babies, toddlers & even teens occupied while giving Mum or Dad some much needed respite. This was a fantastic experience & I resided at these 5 day camps solely to help out with the other camp leaders in a Voluntary capacity. I have also worked as a Swimming Teacher with the under 5's which I found very rewarding. While working at several Medical Clinics I have experience working in the treatment room attending to acute Asthma cases under a Doctors guidance, administered an Epi Pen, helped with putting on plasters on broken limbs & treated spider bites etc so hands on Emergency care while awaiting an Ambulance. In my last 14 years working as a Nanny I have cared for twins, multiple children (up to 8 at one time in total) & children with special needs such as autism, ADHD, cerebral palsy, down syndrome, asthma, diabetes, eczema & other challenging health conditions. I'm experienced with new born babies up to teens. I am trustworthy & reliable & known for being punctual. I'm a very good communicator. I’m hard-working, diligent, energetic & enthusiastic and a whole lot of fun! I have trained in nursing and paramedic studies. I have had extensive experience with babies and children dating back to the age of 9 when I babysat the neighbours children (including a couple of newborns!).... in total 15! I have always been mature & responsible beyond my years. I have been surrounded by children my whole life including my 4 younger siblings and 30 1st cousins! I was a mother figure to my 4 younger siblings as my mother was working full-time as a Nursing Sister & my father was away from home a lot in his job as an International Airline Captain. I have had a lot of responsibility thrust upon me from a very young age! I am Aunty to 13 nieces & nephews & am very close to them & we catch up on a regular basis. I enjoy the spontaneous and honest interaction that children provide and I find it immensely rewarding knowing that I am able to influence and help a child to learn and grow confidently. I'm fair with a gentle approach & can be firm while teaching boundaries. I believe all children require stability and need to know they are loved and lovable as a basic right. I never cease to be amazed at the lessons that children can teach us adults! I am inspired by the enthusiasm that children have when learning about the world around them. I love all animals. 🤗 *Important to know...... *I'm up to date (2025) with my Whooping Cough vaccination (pertussis)* I have had my car licence for 40 years & I'm a very cautious driver with a full licence & faultless record with Zero accidents & no demerits! I look forward to meeting you and your precious children. *My rate is dependent on time of day & number of children needing care. As per industry regulations my rate starts at $35 plus per hour & I prefer to work a minimum of 3 hours. As a tutor helping with homework my rate is the standard rate of $40 helping one student. Thank you. ☺️ *My most recent regular role involved caring for a newborn baby & his toddler brother which I really loved. Their Mum has written an excellent reference that is available for your perusal.* Thanks for your time! Have a lovely day! Sincerely Yours Fionna 🌸

Looking for: Part-time,Casual Babysitting

Hi! I’m Sophie, a 28-year-old from the UK who has been living in Melbourne for the past 2.5 years. I’m based in Fitzroy and currently self-employed, running my own vintage clothing business. I’m looking for some extra work during the week and would love the opportunity to help out with a family on a regular basis. I have plenty of babysitting experience, having looked after younger cousins and family friends’ children in the UK, including casually babysitting for a neighbour’s 5-year-old for around two years. Since moving to Melbourne, I’ve also regularly looked after a 1-year-old for just under a year for a previous boss. I absolutely love spending time with children and enjoy getting involved in their interests, whether that’s reading, drawing, playing games, listening to music, getting outdoors or coming up with fun creative activities. I’m also very happy to help with homework and schoolwork and understand the importance of being both responsible and fun! I have my own car and a full Australian driver’s licence, so I’m happy to help with school pickups, activities and getting children where they need to be. I’m reliable, patient and flexible, and would be very happy to help a family in whatever way I can. If a Working With Children Check (WWCC) is required, I’m more than happy to obtain one. I look forward to meeting you and your family! 😊 Best, Sophie
