My name is Anna, I finished Year 12 at St Leonard’s College in 2022. I am currently studying at Deakin University, studying primary teaching. I consider myself to be a responsible, patient and friendly 20 year old. I am currently coaching basketball at St Leonard’s and Brighton Grammar and netball at St leonards and Firbank for ages 10-16. I also previously coached a boys basketball team (ages 7-9yrs). I have plenty of experience cooking, cleaning and engaging children in fun activities. I have casually babysat for the past 4 years with different families of children aged 1-13 and am currently babysitting an 8 year old boy 1 day a week and another family of 3 children aged between 5-12. I curently casually work at a kindergarten/ ELC a few times a week managing large groups of children with an age range between 6 months- 5 years old giving me a great skill set to handle younger children and have experience in tasks such as rest/ sleep times, changing nappys and feeding times. I have also recently done a teaching placement for my uni course which was 3 weeks in a year 2 classroom which enhanced my skills. I am first aid, CPR, diabetes and anaphylaxis certified. Post grad I worked in the start-up sector and various marketing roles. I started modelling in 2021, which began full on and is now my main occupation, accompanied by some smaller marketing roles. I am looking for some casual work with the right family which could turn into more consistent work. I am extremely active, great at art, smart, good at tennis, fun and love to spend time with kids. Hi there! I am very excited about meeting and getting to know you. But first a little bit about me - I have been providing childcare on & off over the past 22 years. I was an Au Pair in Paris in 2016, however I started child caring in 2002 when I was 14: for my, then, piano teacher’s son. I cared for him 3 days a week, (after school) from the age of 2-8, while his mum taught piano in the front room: I had to master the skill of noise level control! Once I was 16 I began to babysit for other families during the evenings and weekends. I babysat casually between my part-time job and my studies until 2009. Between 2010-2016 I would assist as a mother's helper when asked, whilst working 4 jobs and trying for a Makeup Art Career, by families that knew me, or who were referred: until I left for Paris that is! from 2006-2016 I gave my brother & cousins time-out by babysitting my nieces & nephews, now the eldest are 16 with learners permits! In 2017 I used this site to find causal & part-time carer positions, and eventual found an amazing family to work for, as a full-time Nanny, up until July 2020. When it no longer made sense for me to be there whilst they worked from home. After I started working for a family of 4 1 boy 9 years old & 1 girl 7 years old), with before and after school care 5 days a week from Feb 2021-Sept 2021 as theirs and my needs changed. From Sept 2021-present I have been working woth another Famiky of 4 2 boys 5 & 8 years old), 5 days a week 2 full days and 3 half days. I will be working with them for the foreseeable future. Right now I am looking for only casual babysitting or regular babysitting, and before school care. To fit in with my current job. As I am arranging plans to move to France next year. And am interested in bulking up my savings.
