Dear Parents I am a mature Nanny who truly loves caring for children. Most recently I have cared 2 days per week for a 1 year old and 3 year old girls as well as a 2 year old boy. Both positions were for 1 year and I have wonderful references from both families. I have a Teaching Degree in Early Childhood and also a Journalism Degree with Drama and Creative Writing. I am definitely a creative type as well as sporty and clean/organised. I also have 20 years experience as a professional Entertainer (Singer, Dancer, Actor) around Australia and in England, Asia and the U.S, If you have a baby or toddler I will sing to them/teach them…every nursery rhyme ever created. This great for their language development plus they will really enjoy it! I am happy to take children to activities, the park and library. I have a reliable car. I am also happy to help around the house with laundry, emptying the dishwasher etc. My approach is calm and I keep to a routine which helps children feel safe and cared for. I look forward to hearing from you and how I can help your family in 2026.

Paddington

Updated: 20 Feb 26

Looking for: Part-time,Casual Babysitting

I am a recent university graduate in Paddington, Brisbane. As the youngest member of my family, I have always wanted younger relatives, which led to my passion for childcare. I greatly enjoy brightening people's days and making their lives easier. My other passions include reading and creative writing. I have high enthusiasm and energy, but I also know when it's time to settle down. I am punctual and respectful, I follow any given instructions carefully and ask questions to clarify any grey areas. I don't mind long bedtime routines in the slightest, and housework is no issue. I love to have fun and play games! My speciality is story-telling. I have even written a children's book for The Kids' Cancer Project! I am fair with children and reward their honesty. In January 2018, I began caring for a newborn girl. In October, her mother had twin girls who I also cared for. They were three months premature, causing the oldest twin to require oxygen tubes for some time. I cared for all three girls at once from newborns to ages three and four. I would feed them, change their nappies, get them to sleep, and entertain them throughout the day. In 2019 I took on a fourth girl who was one year old. My work included feeding her, changing her, bath time, dressing her, picking her up from daycare, putting her to sleep, and taking her out on day trips. For a short time in 2021, I cared for two brothers ages three and five. My duties included naps, bath time, meals, playtime, and days out. Halfway through 2021, I began caring for an eleven-year-old girl through to her twelfth birthday in early 2022. Her mother is off work for the time being, so I was no longer needed. My duties included school pick-up, chore checking, making dinner, homework help, and dishwashing. From January to February 2022 I cared for a nine-month-old boy. This position was short because the family were staying in the state only temporarily due to housing trouble. My duties included feeding, playtime, naps, baths, and assistance with learning to crawl. I have cared for many more children in short-term positions as seen on my resume. In 2022, I moved away from home and worked as a stablehand in the hinterlands. I've now moved to Brisbane and am returning to the nanny industry.

I’ve always had a natural connection with children and genuinely enjoy spending time with them. I’m warm and playful, but also confident in setting clear and respectful boundaries when needed. I worked for a year as a babysitter for my neighbours in Chile, who had five children (3, 5, 6, 8 and 10 years old), which gave me strong experience managing different ages and personalities at the same time. I have also volunteered in primary schools supporting 1st and 2nd grade children who were struggling with reading and writing comprehension, helping them build confidence and improve their skills. Currently, I live in a home with two children (11 and 13 years old) and actively care for them as part of my daily routine. I enjoy creative activities, outdoor time and supporting learning. As I’m from Chile, I can also teach Spanish if families wish. I offer responsible, caring and positive childcare where children feel safe and supported.

Looking for: Part-time,Casual Babysitting

Hi parents, my name is Daniella. I have a double Bachelor of Business and a Bachelor of Science in Information Technology from UTS and have worked full time at a consulting firm for 3 years and am looking for some babysitting opportunities in my local area. Previously I attended Willoughby Girls High in Sydney and before that, Cammeray Public School. I am very caring, have a warm personality and have 15 years babysitting experience. I have experience babysitting all ages and have done my first aid training with CPR and have a current Working with Children Check (WWC)/Blue Card. I am a sensible driver and have an Australian license. Additionally, I am a very good cook and will happily cook a range of different, healthy cuisines for your family and little ones. I play multiple instruments including guitar and piano and also came first in HSC music for singing and have performed at the Sydney Opera House. I also do latin dance competitively. If your kids are more sporty, I have played a range of sports throughout my life, in particular, basketball, and I am also a qualified basketball referee and Royal Yachting Association Skipper ( sailing captain), so I love to get outdoors! I am used to caring for large numbers of children as I was also a sailing instructor at Lane cove sailing club. Through this I taught young kids how to sail in a safe and fun environment. This applies to babysitting as I am responsible and will always ensure your child's safety whilst keeping them entertained or helping them with activities or homework. If they are young sailors that's fantastic, we will have lots in common. Please let me know if you have any questions! I have lots of references and would love to hear from you at short notice.
