I have extensive experience supporting children, families, and households, with a strong focus on routines, organisation, and day-to-day support. I’m comfortable assisting with school mornings, getting children ready, school pick ups, household tasks (such as laundry flow and tidying and organizing key areas). I work best with families who value consistency, reliability, and a steady, caring presence. I’m reasonably flexible with days and hours and happy to support families who need help during busy periods or shared-care arrangements.

I am a career nanny and registered nurse with over nine years of childcare experience across live-in and sole-charge roles. Although I began nursing in 2021, I have continued nannying throughout my professional journey, as supporting children and being part of their growth has always been where my heart lies. I am deeply passionate about creating nurturing, structured, and emotionally safe environments where children can build confidence, independence, and experience the world with curiosity and security. Originally from country Victoria and now based in Brisbane, I am an adventurous and active person who loves hiking, running, team sports, animals, and spending quality time with family and friends, often enjoying farm-stay getaways and time outdoors. I am also a proud aunt to my four-month-old nephew and treasure supporting my sister and watching him grow. I am currently seeking a live-in, week-on/week-off role where I can be fully present and involved during my working week while maintaining balance with family time, allowing me to continue doing what I love most: being part of a child’s journey.

Looking for: Part-time,Casual Babysitting

Dear Families, I'm the nanny for you if you are seeking help from a reliable, fun and dedicated nanny/ helper/ additional family member. Currently based in Brisbane, I’ve been working as a teacher and am looking to transition to a slower, more grounded lifestyle as I prepare to welcome a baby due late November, early December. I’m a qualified teacher, yoga and meditation teacher, and have previous experience as both a nanny and au pair. I’m very comfortable supporting children of different ages and contributing to a calm, structured, and nurturing home environment. I was also home-schooled in my early years, which has shaped my approach to learning. I value curiosity, creativity, and emotional safety. I enjoy a mix of childcare and practical household support, including cooking (I enjoy cooking and baking), organising, and helping maintain a well-functioning home. I’m proactive, reliable, and naturally take initiative. With my family based in Canada, I’m especially drawn to homes with a genuine, respectful family feel. Ideally looking for longer-term relationships that will work with some casual teaching alongside. Outside of work, I enjoy reading, podcasts, stand-up comedy, and being active — paddle boarding, cycling, hiking, and camping. I’m looking for a role that feels balanced — where I can contribute meaningfully to family life, while building a calm, connected environment for both the children and myself. I love to play alongside with the children I care for; I like to get involved in their games to help expand on their creative ideas and extend their play. I also think it is important to involve children in day to day activities. I try to use each experience as an opportunity for the children learn about, and further understand the world around them. I apply what I have learned about child development and human behaviour to my job as a nanny. I love being involved in kids' lives and watching them learn and grow. I'm happy to discuss various arrangements. Please contact me by phone or email if you would like to discuss how we might be able to work together and create the ideal circumstance for everyone. Current CV and references available.

Looking for: Part-time,Casual Babysitting

Hi, I am currently living at College in St Lucia enrolled in a double degree of a bachelor of Business and a bachelor of Fashion Design at QUT. I am originally from Sydney and have been doing babysitting there for the past 2 years, quite regularly. During this job, I would make the kids (aged 4, 7, and 9) breakfast, pack their bags and walk them to school every monday, tuesday and wednesday, and occasionally take them home from school and make them dinner when needed. I have also had causal babysitting jobs whenever my neighbours were going out to dinner or had an event on at night, which was very ideal and easy for me to do. I would love to have the same or similar type of job whilst living in Brisbane, and my schedule is white flexible during the weekdays as well :)

Hi, on my behalf of this statement me and my best friend do this together, we are two 14 year old girls (turning 15). Education at Brigidine college, we are quite experienced with young children - most recent job with 3 children, 5 year old, 3 year old, and 1 year old. Of course older sitters have seperate benefits, but one thing i do recognise as beneficial from slightly younger sitters is that kids tend to feel more like they are on their level, i’ve seen this through my experience and with family (little cousins etc) children tend to look up to kids a bit older! We are able to do household work whilst entertaining kids and can get children showered, fed and asleep during night time routines. Patient, supportive, kind and good with kids! 15 dollars per hour for two sitters, as double sitters makes it more efficient to handle cleaning and entertainment. References available upon request.
