I am currently an occupational therapy undergrad with the University of Queensland. I've previously worked in a daycare for over a year and just completed a 6-month stint working with children and adults with special needs (ASD), so I'm absolutely comfortable with caring for neurodiverse children as well!
Hello! I am a third-year Speech Therapy undergraduate student at UQ. Prior to that, I graduated with a diploma in Early Childhood studies in Singapore. I am originally from Singapore and have recently moved here for my undergraduate degree. I love working with children, and one of my greatest joys is to see them mature and develop as young people :). I have experience working with typically developing children and children with special needs. I've previously worked at childcare centres and children camps, caring for children aged 3 to 15. Apart from that, I have a 13 year old brother with autism, and have been supporting him with his daily routine and studies. Please send me a message if you need support for your child! I'm happy to chat :)
Hi my name is Keely, I am 20 years old and based in Brisbane! I love kids and recently just returned from Italy where I was an Au Pair for four months for two boys (aged 2 and 5) who I love dearly and miss already! Besides that I have also done lots of babysitting for neighbours and friends in the past so have plenty of experience with kids and would love to meet yours! I am fully vaccinated, have my drivers license and a police check if you would like proof of any of those documents. I am currently studying a bachelor of medical sonography at university, so would be available during the week every morning and night from 5pm (however free all day monday and friday). Please feel free to get in touch if you would like to have a call or if you have any other questions :)
I’ve been working as an early childhood educator
for the past 2 years in various centers in Brisbane.I have a genuine interest in caring for, and nurturing children and the ability to create and maintain a positive, safe and healthy environment. I have a high degree of dependability and responsibility and the proven ability to interact and relate to people of diverse backgrounds and to develop and maintain positive and effective relationships with children.
I am a 20 year old student who has had years of experience working with children. I have been a regular babysitter for children ages 2-10 and also run my own music studio where I teach children of all ages. I am currently looking for up to 20 hours of work a week, and am very excited to find the right family!
My passion is working with children as I have a very active and fun loving personality. I love creating fun activities for the kids to do during the day to keep them stimulated and active. I have worked at Indooroopilly Monetessori Childrens House and been a baby sitter/nanny for 10 years now. I was running baby development classes Monday to Friday before going on maternity leave mid March 2021. I am home with my 15 month old daughter and we would love to help out another family with care and so my daughter has a friend to play with during the day.
Hi! My name's Jade and I'm a first year university student looking for some babysitting/nanny work. I am patient, kind, reliable and honest and love being active, reading, baking and having fun! Through my experience with sport I have developed effective time management and organisational skills. I can cook and have accesses to my own car. I am a safe driver (no accidents) on my P2 licence and have experience driving with children. At home my family (mum, dad and little sister) are involved with providing respite for children in the foster system and I love being a foster sister/friend to the kids that come into our care! Through this I have undergone police checks and received my blue card as well as mental/health checks and all evaluations required of me by the foster system as an 18 or over living with children in care. Beyond this, I have babysitting and volunteer experience with children. I have been babysitting for 5 years, which I really enjoy, I am energetic and enthusiastic so have often gotten along easily with kids I've looked after. During high school I was a volunteer for 2 years at SONY camp, a holiday respite camp for children with disabilities, helping with organising games and activities and making sure campers were safe and having fun.
Hi :) I'm a full-time university student looking for some babysitting work. I have experience as a dance teachers assistance for 2-6 year olds as well as babysitting for my 7 nieces and nephews aged 1year-13 years old. I am also more than happy to help out around the house where needed.
I am a fun and energetic 18 year old who loves kids. I grew up with two autistic siblings who are younger than me, therefore I have quite the understanding of special needs children. I also have 5 siblings in total (one sister, 15, two brothers, 14 and 15, a step-sister, 5 and a step-brother, 8) I am working towards being a paramedic in the future, as I love caring for others in great need.
Hi, my name is Annie and I'm currently in first year uni at UQ studying a Bachelor of Environmental Management. I'm a country girl, born in Longreach and my family lives on a farm. I also went to boarding school for 6 years, so I would consider myself independent, practical and a natural problem solver. I am the oldest cousin on both sides of my family and have therefore had a lot to do with looking after children alongside early babysitting jobs. I love working with children and am looking forward to the opportunity to continue doing this while I am at Uni.
I am currently a second year university student, studying a bachelor of Education and Arts (majoring in English and History), at the University of Queensland. I have been babysitting and looking after kids for many years now and am also a qualified swim teacher, so I definitely have experience with kids of all ages and personalities!
I love kids and busy households and can adapt to any situation!
I look forward to getting to know your family :)
I am a UQ bachelor of Arts student looking for part time/casual work. I am interested in studying Veterinary Science and love animals. In my spare time I enjoy riding horses, walking my dog and looking after my plants. I also love nature and spending time outdoors. I have previous experience in baby sitting/nannying including school/kindergarten dropping off and pick ups. I would be more comfortable with kids aged five and above, but am always willing to learn more. Indooroopilly is my local area but am happy to travel if needed. I am looking for approximately fifteen hours per week.
Hi, My name is Gabrielle. I am a current student at The University Of Queensland and am currently completing a Bachelor's degree in Clinical Exercise Physiology. My family home is in country South Australia.
I love sport and being active and have competed in state/national championships for basketball and touch football.
I have 6 nieces and nephews and have had a big part in their lives and baby sat them many times.
As I lived in the country, I moved each week into the city to go to school and lived with a young family during the week. They had 2 children. One was 3 and the other 5. The 5yr old boy also had special needs. I thoroughly enjoyed living with them and took on looking after them most days after school and in the mornings with helping them get ready for school/kindy.
I love working with children and have done lots of coaching in a wide range of sports from ages 5-18yrs.
I am very flexible and will communicate openly with the families as to when I can work/not work well in advance.
My name is Jenny and I am a full-time student at The University of Queensland studying for a Bachelor of Nursing. I have worked as a swim teacher in the past, so I have experience working with children of various ages and backgrounds. Just looking for a casual or part time role as a nanny/babysitter, and if it works out, I’m happy to try and organise my semester timetable around your needs in the future.
Hi, my name is Anoushka. I am a third year student currently studying Law and International Relations at The University of Queensland. I am British and home for me is Edinburgh, Scotland! I have also lived in Hong Kong and Singapore and speak Mandarin at an intermediate level.
I love working with children and during the past two summers have nannied for a 2yr old girl and 4yr boy, as well as working in a nursery for a month when I was 17. Whilst I was studying in Scotland I also frequently babysat in the evenings for a 6yr old and 8yr old. I am very active and particular hobbies include tennis, ballet, piano, swimming, cooking, baking and drama. I also graduated top five in my year achieving A*A*A at A Levels (British Qualification). Whilst at school I volunteered at a Youth Club and taught dance classes for a group of six year olds. I would be more than happy to incorporate any of these skills into looking after your children if you are interested - as well as trying out anything new!
I have loved all of my experiences caring for children and the opportunity it has given me to get to know such wonderful families. I would love the chance to look after your children in accordance with the ways that you feel are best for them. I hope to speak very soon - thank you so much for your consideration!
Hi, my name's Izzy and I am currently studying a Bachelor of Physiotherapy. I have had previous experience with babysitting back home in Ireland with varying ages but mainly toddlers and older children. However, I am willing to give anything a go as I believe I'm patient and compassionate. Other experiences include coaching kids sporting teams, leading after school activities and running children's birthday parties for a family Leisure Centre (Pirates Cove). I have also done some work experience in primary schools assisting the Teacher. I believe my love for the outdoors and sport is a skill that can be used, as well as teaching some French on rainy days. I would love to have the chance to look after your child/children with guidance from you, as each parent has different goals for their little one. Hope to hear from you soon. Thankyou for your time and consideration.
I am a bubbly student available to help out any local families with their children. I have helped out my cousins' children over the years from the ages of 6 months (but can babysit all ages). I am studying at the moment, but have a very flexible schedule and don't mind driving a bit. I love cooking for myself and wouldn't mind with meal prepping and making and also would love to help with other chores around the house in down time.
