Hello! My name is Amy, I am currently a second year university student with the intent to pursue a Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine after my graduation in 2027 (animals are my passion!). A little bit about me: I was born in Switzerland before moving to Melbourne in 2018, I have a much younger brother (6 year age gap), and have always enjoyed spending time with my younger relatives! I love travel and learning new languages (currently can fluently speak English and French, whilst studying Danish) and have absolutely loved the Melbourne food culture since moving! I have experience working as a mentor to children with disabilities, and have always taken on the role of a 'caretaker' at social events and family gatherings. My priority will always be to promote having fun and being positive in a safe space, ensuring your children always feel supported and comfortable within their daily lives.

Looking for: Part-time,Casual Babysitting

Hi, I’m Vanessa 😊 I’ve worked for two years as a summer camp counselor in the U.S, providing 24/7 care for kids aged 6-17 during their 9 week programs. Last year I worked closely with groups of children ranging from 6-10 year old as a general counselor, helping them through everything from daily routines to tricky emotions and building confidence along the way. The previous year, I ran arts and crafts activities and lived with girls aged 12- 14. I also regularly babysit for a few local families with kids aged 5 - 12 years. I’m confident doing things like bedtime, preparing meals, and just making sure everyone’s happy, safe, and having a good time while you’re out!! I have a driver’s license, valid wwcc and my own car

Looking for: Casual Babysitting

Hey! I’m Yew, an easygoing, somewhat ambitious full time university student studying fin and econ that works part time. I am pursuing this role primarily for the goal to continue with my travels. A description shouldn’t be enough for parents to trust me nor anyone with their kids. Although I can do my best to describe myself, I would like to say I am quite a patient person having grown up in a chaotic household with 3 siblings ( a younger sister and 2 older siblings). I have a high stress tolerance and regularly exercise emotional regulation just to be better for myself. I am pretty proactive in my own life, and would apply that to babysitting, taking precautionary measures to ensure your child is safe at all times along with general housekeeping and other tasks if you’d like. I do enjoy lounging a lot but my mind needs stimulation too so I can definitely keep your child entertained as I do so with myself, with books or television, if screen time is an issue which it is for me, I’d happily go for walks and to the park or even go on outings! I have a dog and if you’re happy with it, I’d love to take him along to share some babysitting responsibility too! He too likes to be entertained and is very easy going. I love him very much to just treat him like a pet, he’s more so a best friend hence taking him along. Feel free to text, call, FaceTime or meet if you’re close by, I try to be transparent and honest with myself so I will do the same with how I can be fitted for you.

Looking for: Full-time,Part-time,Casual Babysitting

Hi, my name is Maya. I grew up in Bangkok, Thailand and Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, and I am Malaysian-Sri Lankan. I have two older brothers, so I grew up in a close family environment. I am currently studying a Diploma in Early Childhood Education in Melbourne. And I currently work part-time at OHSC Camp Australia Before and after school Program. I have around 3 years of experience working with children through volunteering at my church Sunday school program, where I helped care for children aged 1–12 years every Sunday. In this role I supervised children, helped organise snack times, learning activities, games and crafts, and supported the children during lessons and play. I also helped teach Bible stories and activities that focused on values such as kindness, respect, empathy and helping others, and helped guide the children as they participated in these activities. Through my studies I am learning about child development, play-based learning, and the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF) and Victorian Early Years Learning and Development Framework (VEYLDF). These frameworks support children’s social, emotional, cognitive and physical development, helping them learn through play while building confidence and independence in a safe and supportive environment. I have a Working With Children Check and HLTAID012 – Provide First Aid in an Education and Care Setting certification. I am patient, responsible, reliable and attentive, and I enjoy helping with activities, homework, routines and creative play. I understand how important it is for parents to feel comfortable and confident with who is caring for their children, and I always aim to create a safe, caring and supportive environment. I would love the opportunity to meet your family and see if I’m the right fit for your children!

Hi! I’m Sienna, but everyone calls me CC 😊 I completed school at Carey Baptist Grammar School and I am currently studying Podiatry (Honours). I come from a close-knit family of five and we also have a beautiful border collie, Duke, so I’m very comfortable around dogs. I’ve always loved sport and spent 13 years doing gymnastics, which led me into coaching and judging children aged roughly 3–17. This experience really sparked my love for working with kids and helped me develop strong communication, patience and leadership skills. Over the past two years, I’ve worked as a nanny/babysitter for several lovely families with children of different ages. I cared for a family with three young boys aged 1, 4 and 6, where I helped with daily care, active play, routines and nappy changes for the youngest. I also worked with another family with two children aged 5 and 8, focusing on after-school care, school pick-ups, engaging activities and maintaining routines. In addition, I supported a family with two young girls aged 2 and 6, helping with age-appropriate play, school pick-ups, daily routines and general care. These experiences have made me very comfortable adapting to different family dynamics and needs. Surf lifesaving has also been a big part of my life. I volunteer at Point Leo SLSC, where I patrol the beach and teach children how to swim safely in the ocean and move confidently on the sand. Through this, I have strong first aid and CPR knowledge and feel confident handling responsibility and caring for children’s safety. I’m friendly, hardworking and energetic, and I genuinely love supporting families and spending time with kids. I’m really excited about the opportunity to help out in a welcoming home and be a reliable, caring presence. Based in Toorak and Eltham 😊
