Looking for: Part-time,Casual Babysitting

Hi , my name is Chanel and I'm looking for part time work in baby sitting or nannying to support my university hours. As the oldest of my cousins and siblings I’ve had lots of experience supervising toddlers as well as kids. Im comfortable with school pick ups as my parents work full time and I've often picked up my younger siblings after school during the week and taken them to their activities. I've worked in a child care setting and at the Art and Craft Factory in Balwyn, where I loved interacting with kids in fun and engaging way. I also enjoy tutoring and have helped out in early primary school classes. I have my working with childrens check as well as my driver’s license. Ive had some babysitting jobs over the past few years but would love to have more consistent work this year with a family that needs me on a regular basis. I’ve recently finished my VCE studies at Carey Baptist Grammar School and am looking forward to starting a Bachelor of Industrial Design at Swinburne University in East Hawthorn. Im available to help your family with the juggle of raising children!

Looking for: Part-time,Casual Babysitting

Hello, I am a fully qualified early childhood and primary school teacher and have also worked as a foster parent. I have just returned home after a year at an outback station as a live-in governess teaching and caring for three children under 6 years old full-time. I am skilled at creating imaginative play-based and physical activities for children and helping build their self-confidence and resilience. I believe that being outside and interacting with nature and the community is an important part of childhood development (as is routine and healthy food!)

Looking for: Part-time,Casual Babysitting

Hi my name is Emma. I have over 16 years experience in early childhood and hold my Diploma in Children's Services and Working With Children's Check. For 10 years I worked as a room leader at a small early learning centre, where I cared for children aged 0-6 and eventually was the Assistant Director for a few years. I also worked as a kindergarten assistant at a sessional kinder, while nannying for two families in the afternoon/ evenings. I left my role at the kinder and nannying at the end of 2019, just before my daughter was born. I’ve had lots of other experience with casual and regular babysitting / nannying for children of all ages. This included over night and weekly stays while parents were out of town for work or social events. As well as school and kinder pick ups, taking children to other activities and maintaining consistency with their routine and schedules eg. Dinner, homework, bed time etc. I prioritise building trusting relationships with the children I care for, where they can feel safe and accepted to be themselves and know that their opinions, needs and interests are valued. When I’m nannying, the children’s needs always come first. But I’m also more than happy to help out with any general home duties and will always make myself useful when the opportunity arises, as I know the difference this can make to a parents workload. I’m a genuine, easy going and honest person. I love finding experiences that spark children’s joy and imagination and bringing this into our time together. I respect the values, structure and expectations of the families I work with and do my best to maintain consistency in this. I’ve always loved my work with children and their families and since becoming a mum myself, I’ve come to appreciate and understand even more, just how important it is to find the right person to welcome into your family, home and children’s lives. If you feel that my personality and experience might suit your family, please feel free to get in touch. I’m happy to email through my resume or answer any questions. Please note that my daytime availability for regular care is on Tues, Wed and Fridays between 10am-2pm only. More than happy to discuss times outside of this for casual/ semi regular care. My rate is $35 ph for up to two children, $40 ph for 3 or more. Thank you

Hi, I'm Kimberly – Your Next Babysitter! Hello! I'm Kimberly, a 32-year-old professional, proudly Mexican, and happily married. My husband and I moved to Australia seven years ago as students, and we’ve built a life here. I am now a permanent resident, which allows me to work without restrictions. I have approximately six years of experience looking after children, having worked with six different families. I have cared for kids of all ages, from newborns to teenagers, adapting to their individual needs and routines. I’m a freelancer with a passion for photography, childcare, and animals. Since I can remember, I’ve always been great with kids—I grew up surrounded by cousins and now have wonderful nieces and nephews. My husband and I plan to start our own family soon, and we’ve already begun with our beloved dog! My Experience & Responsibilities With years of experience caring for children of different ages, my tasks have included (but are not limited to): ✅ School/childcare drop-offs & pick-ups ✅ Cooking & meal preparation ✅ Cleaning up after the kids ✅ Washing & changing nappies ✅ Supervising bathroom time ✅ Helping with homework ✅ Providing full-time care & extra hours (including weekends with notice) Fun & Engaging Activities I love to improvise and adapt to each child’s routine and interests. Whether it’s a trip to the beach, park, library, museum, or sports training, I make sure the little ones stay active, engaged, and happy. And as a bonus, you’ll never lack beautiful photos and videos of your children’s best moments! Being around children has been one of the most enriching experiences of my time in Australia. It fills my heart, especially when I feel homesick or far from my family, bringing me joy, warmth, and a sense of home. I have a car, all my paperwork is up to date, and I can provide references if needed. I consider myself responsible, patient, and honest. Looking forward to hearing from you! 😊

My name is Emma, and I’m currently studying for a Cert 3 in Childhood Education with VU. Babysitting has been a significant side gig for me since I was 14. I have also worked as a lifeguard and consistently volunteered at the youth theatre program back home in Townsville. With kids, I am bubbly and fun, always willing to get dirty with them, play dress-up, or help with homework. My background is in safety, and I make it my top priority because I believe you cannot have fun unless you’re doing it safely. I have access to my own car, where a car seat can be installed, and I am confident and comfortable using the Melbourne public transport system. I am also happy to walk to parks, schools, or other activities if and when required.
