Hi there, I'm Kimberly! I'm a 31-year-old professional, proudly Mexican, and happily married. I'd love to be your next babysitter.
My partner and I moved to Australia six years ago to study. I completed an English course and a Diploma in Social Media Marketing. We got married here and just renewed our visas until 2025, which allows me to work full-time for the next couple of years. Professionally, I'm a freelancer who loves photography, and I enjoy looking after children and animals. I'm a big fan of the outdoors. I've always been great with kids, having taken care of my cousins, nieces, and nephews. I understand the responsibilities involved and am confident I can help you out. I'm a quick learner too!
Here in Australia, I've had several wonderful babysitting experiences:
A family of 4 in Oakleigh with a 9-year-old boy and a 3-year-old girl (1 month)
A family of 5 in Brighton with two boys aged 6 and 8, and a 10-year-old girl (1 year)
A family of 4 in Camberwell with a 4-year-old boy and a 2-year-old girl (1 year and 7 months)
A family of 6 in Fitzroy North with a 3-month-old baby, a 6-year-old girl, and later a newborn baby (1 year and 3 months)
A family of 5 in Hawthorn East with three amazing girls who were 7, 4, and 2 years old when I started (2 years)
I'm available all day on Mondays and Tuesdays or Mondays and Wednesdays, and occasionally on other weekdays in the early mornings or from 6 pm onwards, as well as some weekends. Additionally, I have my own car with a full driver's license, and all my paperwork is up to date.
My tasks have included school and childcare drop-offs and pickups, meal preparation, cleaning up after the kids, supervising bath/shower time, helping with homework or homeschooling (in case of another lockdown), and generally taking care of the kids throughout the day. I can also assist with personal shopping, errands, and other duties.
When it comes to activities, I love to improvise and also fit into their routines. We can go to the beach, park, library, museum, sports training, picnics, competitions, do crafts, drawings, watch movies, cook, learn Spanish, play board games, and have contests – all that and more!
With me, you'll never lack photos and videos of your children. Sharing time with kids has been the most enriching part of my days in Australia. Being away from home is tough, but kids bring the joy and energy I need, and I can improve my English skills too! Please feel free to ask for more details. I consider myself responsible and honest. I'm happy to provide references from my previous employers. Rest assured, your children are in good hands.
Looking forward to hearing from you and your kids!
Cheers,
Kim :)
