Hii parents!! My name is Alexandra Puliafito. I’m 16 years old and currently attend Year 11 in Oakleigh Grammar. I live in Malvern East and will soon be starting my Certificate III in Early Childhood Education and Care, as I hope to become a kindergarten teacher in the future! I have experience caring for my cousins (ages ranging from 1–10) and neighbours children (ages 3–5), and I really enjoy spending time with kids, if that’s playing games, reading stories, or just helping them feel happy and comfortable while you take some for yourselves. I’m also more than happy to cook dinner or meal prep! I’d describe myself as responsible, caring, patient, and fun, and I always aim to create a safe, positive environment for the children I look after. I’m also pet friendly and happy to help out in homes with animals. I’m available weekdays after school (until whenever needed) and all day on weekends. I can easily get to and from jobs, whether by walking, my parents driving me, or using public transport, as I live next door to Chadstone Shopping Centre, with plenty of bus stops nearby and very easily accessible to get to Oakleigh train station if needed. I’m flexible with days and times and happy with whatever pay you feel is fair. I’d love the opportunity to meet you and your children to see if I’d be a good fit for your family! Alexandra Puliafito

I'm a 20 year old who has just come home from travelling around europe for a few months! At 18 I moved to England and I was at a kids activity camp center. I was working there for 6 months while the center was open! I was nannying earlier this year before my trip but I gained so much experience in looking after kids from working at the kids activity center. I was often responsible of keeping up to 48 kids safe myself and ensure they were having a good time as well. These responsibilities ranged from all times of the day (even overnights) so I have a lot of experience with anything your kid(s) may need!

Looking for: Full-time,Part-time,Casual Babysitting

Born in Melbourne and where I lived for the first 3 years of my life. I relocated to the UK (I have dual citizenship) where I completed school, and subsequently obtained a degree in English from the University of Sussex. I have recently permanently relocated to Melbourne. Since graduating, I have had experience working with children aged 4-11 in a school as a teaching aide/ support staff. During my time at the school, I was responsible for providing one-on-one support for children with special educational needs and disabilities, led small group interventions which covered all curriculum areas, completed a course focusing on supporting the emotional wellbeing of the children and independently ran sessions for those who needed access to social and emotional support, occasionally covered for class teacher and assisted with lesson planning. I have also done babysitting for children of all ages over the span of 10 years. I would love to become a Nanny, as I take great joy in helping children learn, grow and explore the world around them. I would hugely benefit from the experience, as it offers the valuable and unique opportunity to expand my life experiences. The chance to become an extended part of a family, whilst providing support with childcare and household tasks is appealing to me as I want to be able to contribute to the daily lives of a family and create a special bond.I would be a reliable, trustworthy and patient Nanny with a sense of humour, and would ensure to respect all family boundaries. I can also offer any additional tutoring in any subject area required.

Looking for: Full-time,Part-time,Casual Babysitting

Hey there! This message is for the parents out there who are looking for a nanny. I currently have 2 beautiful families i nanny for in Olinda, but am looking to take on 1 to two more long term, Malvern east and surrounds. If your kids want to be around someone who is full of joy and excitement for life, is fun, imaginative, can explore with them and meet them where they are at, I’m your woman. In the years that I have had the honour of learning and growing alongside little humans, I have realised they are often my biggest teachers and I approach them the same way I choose to learn and grow in life, with open attention, curiosity and love. Each kid is so unique, and so I choose to not confine my approach to any specific methods or parenting techniques, rather I listen, I observe and grow alongside them, adapting and meeting them where they are at with compassion and understanding. The capacity to which I can hold space for myself and love myself through big emotions and feelings mirrors how I can hold space in challenging times with kids. I am still learning everyday, but through my consistent somatic practise, meditation, embodiment, dance, and my faith, my capacity to navigate challenge with patience and ease has grown. I endeavour to pass on my wisdom in a creative and playful way to your kids, so they too can flourish, thrive and grow into incredible beings that lead the next generation. In terms of logistics and my background supporting children I was an international languages teacher for 2 years overseas teaching from the ages of nursery to high school and nanny for 3 regular families over the last 2 years in Melbourne. I have also looked after children from ages 2-15 up in the sunshine coast. I also have experience with caring for children with disability and diverse needs, children with adhd and autism. I have my license, a car, and am comfortable fitting car seats (car seats would need to be provided). Besides that i am finishing my herbalism certification this year. I am also a business owner of a dance & embodiment women's school, where i hold classes, workshops, retreats and perform. Please shoot me a message if your interested and I would love to have a chat! 🙂
