Hi there! My name is Steph. I have been babysitting all ages for nearly 10 years now, and working with kids is truly my passion. I have been working in OSHC and kindergarten school-readiness programs for the past 3 years. I have experience with children with a wide range of ages, abilities, medical conditions, and neurodivergence. I am confident with planning and running a variety of activities, catered to different interests. Though, I highly value child-led play and I am always happy to go with the flow and see where the game takes us. I absolutely love working with and playing with kids. They are my favourite people! I am always up for a story, a song, dress-ups, art, or sport. I'm not afraid to look silly if it makes a kid laugh! My absolute favourite part of working with kids is building a genuine connection, and watching a once shy kid come out of their shell. Last year, I graduated from a Bachelor of Biomedical Science, and I have now begun a Master of Teaching, with the goal of working with neurodivergent kids in the future. I have a current Working With Children Check, First Aid, Anaphylaxis and Asthma training, Food Safety Certification, Child Protection training, and Police Check. I also have a full Australian Driver's License and my own car, plus lots of experience installing and using different car seats. I would absolutely love the opportunity to get to know your family, help you out, and have some fun!
