My name is Erika. I'm 36 years old. I am an illustrator, visual artist, and graphic designer. My background is in Mexico; I am funny, creative, happy, and active. I am also a fan of literature, cooking, and the arts. I love working with children. Back in Mexico, I was the Art director in charge of the children's Pavilion at the International Book Fair of Guadalajara. My work involved teaching art to kids and creating a suitable pavilion for them and their parents; my team and I made the Pavilion following standard safe procedures and incorporating creativity into it. I have worked as a nanny and have experience with different age groups. I worked as a full-time nanny for one year in 2017 with a family in Canada. And also, in 2018 and 2019, I was a part-time nanny with a Mexican family. I have been working with children in Melbourne since 2022. I started with a family of two unique children (3 and 5 years old). I have been working with them for 3 years; I am still with them on Thursdays. You are more than welcome to contact me and ask for references. I'm looking to engage with a new family and start working for you two days a week from 8:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. I would also be happy to teach them art too.

Hello there! A little about me: I’m a compassionate, friendly, and caring person who is responsible and patient. I have a high spirit and a passion for life, remaining optimistic at all times. I am determined and confident in my abilities. Helping children grow in a healthy, happy, and safe environment is very important to me and comes naturally. I believe in educating children about right and wrong, as well as instilling great manners, which I encourage strongly. I have worked for many families in Australia and overseas, and I have also raised my own four children, including a set of twins, who are now wonderful young adults—educated, intelligent, and well-respected individuals (though I may be biased!). Throughout my many years of experience, I have cared for over a dozen families and have also worked with children who are hard of hearing, autistic, or battling leukemia. In addition to childcare, I do light housekeeping, including cooking and baking, which I truly enjoy, although it depends on the time available. I’m happy to assist with all ages of children; they are all lovely and unique in their own ways, and each presents its own delightful challenges. My previous occupations, aside from being a nanny, include laboratory assistant, fitness instructor, hospitality worker, caterer, receptionist, retail manager, administration officer, and integration aide. Although I am 58 years old, I am full of energy, fit, and healthy, and I embrace a healthy lifestyle, which keeps my outlook on life youthful! I have excellent references from previous and current employers who can verify my experience and work ethic as a nanny and educator. Please do not hesitate to contact me if you have any questions or would like to discuss your family's needs. I look forward to hearing from you! Many thanks, Maria 😊

Hello! I'm an experienced and loving nanny dedicated to providing a safe, nurturing, and fun environment for children. With 2 years of hands-on experience, I have a strong passion for child development and believe in fostering creativity, learning, and independence in every child I care for. I offer a range of services, including homework assistance, organizing engaging activities, and managing daily routines to ensure a healthy balance of fun and responsibility. Whether its playtime, outdoor adventures, or quiet moments of reading and bonding, I strive to create a positive and supportive environment where children feel loved and cared for. Another fact about me is that I am an international student studying in University of Melbourne so I do not have a driver's license yet but am working towards it. Unfortunately a lot of the childcare certificates need a valid Australian driver's license hence I might be unqualified in that aspect. But I promise you, your child will be my first priority and I would do anything in my power to make sure they stay safe and sound. Thank You

Looking for: Part-time,Casual Babysitting

Hello, I'm Lotta! I'm a Australian-Finnish babysitter and textile artist based in North Carlton, where I've lived for 14 years. I'm responsible, resourceful, playful, creative, warm, and nurturing. My experience with children ranges from birth to 11 years old, including caring for 2 under 5 for three years. I love supporting parents (new and seasoned) by providing a safe and stimulating environment for their little ones to grow and flourish. My expertise includes: • Sleeping and settling, overnight feeds, handling EBM/formula, introducing solids. • Bathing, nappies, administering basic medications (coloxl, vitamin D drops, panadol etc...). • Sensory, nature, musical, sport, and art activities. • Supporting milestones (rolling, crawling, walking, introduction of solids). • Excursions (museums, parks, gardens, story-time, farmers markets, Ceres). • Happy to capture special moments throughout the day 📷 to share with you (only if wanted of course). If you work from home or need downtime, I'm also available to care for your children at my child-safe, Montessori-inspired North Carlton terrace house. I'm comfortable with all pets (missing my old family dog) and I have two half Devon Rex cats called Atlas & Sol. 🐾 I have a WWCC, and completed a Pediatric First Aid training course at The Royal Children's Hospital several years ago (happy to take again if a family desired). Happy to contribute to the running of your household by cleaning up after play activities, meals etc... and other light housework (laundry, dishes etc), but would love my primary role to be caring for your children. I enjoy organising, so also very happy to help if there is an area or room that needs a fresh pair of eyes or special attention. As I don't have my full drivers licence, all excursions and pick-ups will be via walking or public transport, which I am well experienced navigating. *** Feel free to reach out to me with any enquiries, including time/day requests not currently listed. My availability will open up more in June/July on Tuesdays and Wednesdays. Looking forward to meeting you and your little ones! 🌞🏳️‍🌈

Hello, I’m a nanny and babysitter in North Fitzroy with more than a decade of experience in all aspects of childcare for every age, including live-in sole care. I've looked after three children, five fur-babies and one bird all at once and another time four brothers after-school… Currently I’m still chasing and being chased by kids as they head of to primary school after watching them grow up through the pandemic. Imaginative and role play are some of my favourite activities as well as any opportunity to draw, make art, learn and read stories. Some afternoons I’m watching kids swim and play basketball or just catching up quickly before they head to bed. I’m more than happy to clean, cook and fold washing - whatever needs doing. With some room in my timetable it would be lovely to meet and assist another family.

Looking for: Full-time,Part-time,Casual Babysitting

Hi my name is Olivia :) I have been travelling Europe for the past 7 months and got back on the 12th of February and I am now seeking some more employment involving working with children. I have over 4 years of nanny experience. Doing gigs ranging from short to long term help and casual covers Previously to my travels I looked after a gorgeous boy for a year who turned 2 while I was looking after him. I really enjoyed this and had a lovely bond but unfortunately his family moved to Perth. The hours were 8-6pm and I am looking for something similar. Prior to that I nannied casually for a 2 and a half year old boy who I took to the pools often due to my experience with swim teaching (this job was for a few months). Another family of two girls; a 6 month year old and 4 year old who needed my help for 3 months while their old helper was away. A german family who I’ve a good relationship with and nannied for them on two different occasions (a few months stint each time) who stay in Melbourne for a bit to visit family. (They were 6 months and 2 years old the first time and 2 and a half and 4 the following) Before some travels I did in 2022, I looked after a young girl around one years old for 6 months which was also long houred days of 8-5pm. Those two gigs were under an angency called The Reinforcement nannying agency. Which no longer runs. I have been a children's swimming teacher for Elite Swimming where I dealt with a wide range of ages typically (2-13 years old) in group and private situations. Prior to starting nannying 4 years ago i did casual baby sitting for 6+ years for local families where I first gained experience with kids varying ages. I am the second oldest out of four girls and therefore I am very family orientated and have grown up in a household surrounded by other kids which has taught me a lot of valuable skills such as communication and patience. I am currently taking a break from uni, however i was studying a bachelor of science at Monash. I am a very caring, energetic, friendly person who is a reliable, confident, and flexible worker. I believe I have a nurturing nature and genuinely love being around and caring for kids. I love planning activities, playing outside, reading etc. I love being able to watch a child I look after flourish and development into their own unique character. I also am more than happy to help out with cleaning up around the house, preparing meals, bathing etc. A bit about me: I love playing sports (netball and football), being in nature, cooking, listening to music, leading an active lifestyle as well as partaking in spontaneous activities with my friends and always trying and learning new things! I am more than happy to give anymore information required by potential employers and provide parent references. I recently refreshed my first aid, I have a car and have a WWCC. Rates wise: When looking after two children I have typically recieved an additional $5 per hour.
