Meet Olivia: A nanny and babysitter in Parkville, VIC

Hi! I’m Olivia, I’m 19 years old, and I grew up in Brisbane in a big, close-knit family. I’m currently studying a Bachelor of Science/ Diploma of Music while attempting pursuing my love of working with kids! I’m the youngest of three children, which means I’ve always been surrounded by people – and I wouldn’t have it any other way!

I’ve been babysitting since I was 16, caring for my younger cousins and family friends’ children both during the day while parents are at work and in the evenings for nights out. I’ve worked with children aged 2 to 8 and am confident with everything from preparing healthy meals and snacks to changing nappies. I’m also comfortable with nap time routines, bath time, and bedtime—making sure the kids feel calm, safe, and settled.

I always try to bring a warm, calm, and joyful energy into the home and tailor activities to each child’s interests.

I also have experience tutoring Year 7–9 students in English, maths, and science, and am always happy to help out with homework or reading.
