Hi families! I just graduated from university and am here on a working holiday visa from the U.S. since November. I have experience doing in-home care for children 4 months-5 years and feel comfortable helping out with any age! I studied psychology in uni and focused heavily on child development courses and did a teaching course with placement in a preschool. I have also worked at a recreation center for after school activities for school-aged children. I like to have fun and do activities but I'm always up to help cook, clean, homework etc. I am planning to apply for a masters program here in Australia to become a child therapist but for right now, I would love to keep working with kids in some way. My most recent job was care work at a program for intellectually disabled men with behavioral issues who needed help cooking, cleaning, reading/writing, having appropriate behavior, and going on fun outings!

Looking for: Part-time,Casual Babysitting

Hi! My name is Lauren and I’m a caring and responsible adult who enjoys supporting children to feel safe, valued, and encouraged. Growing up in a rural community and as one of four children, I’ve interacted with kids of all ages and understand the importance of community in a child’s development. I’ve coached MiniRoos soccer teams and love spending time with my niece, helping her learn, explore, and stay active. Being school captain taught me to balance the needs of students, rules, and parents, and I now bring that same sense of responsibility and understanding to my work with children. I strongly believe it takes a village to raise a child, and children are shaped by everyone around them, including their nanny. This type of work suits me perfectly, allowing me to balance study, work, and physical activity while being a positive influence in children’s lives.

I am originally from Vanuatu and am currently on a bridging visa, married to an Australian Army member. I do not have children, but I have always been the aunt who regularly looked after my nieces. I am currently seeking community work; however, relocating here has made it challenging to secure employment. I go to the gym every day, and I am able to drive, although I need to transfer my licence for work purposes.

Hello! My name is Aada, and I’m a qualified and experienced childcare worker from Finland. I am currently seeking a part-time nanny position with a family looking for reliable, long-term support. I’m excited to offer trusted care and build meaningful relationships with a new family. With over six years of diverse childcare experience, I bring a safe, calm, and professional approach to every role. My patient, nurturing, and empathetic nature drew me to this field, and continues to guide my passion for work with children. I recently completed my Certificate III in Early Childhood Education and Care, which has strengthened my professional skills and knowledge as a nanny and educator. Since February 2025 I have worked as a casual educator as well as a part-time nanny. I have cared for, and feel confident with children of all ages, from 2 months old up to school age. In addition to working as an educator, nanny and babysitter over the past three years, I have also thought dance and gymnasts to little ones. My experience comes from both Finland and Australia. Recently, I have been focusing on building even more experience with infants, and I plan to further my studies in areas such as sleep training in the future. I have a strong childcare philosophy grounded in slow, responsive, and holistic care, playbased learning, and respectful, meaningful interactions. I value time in nature, limited or no screen use, and providing children with supportive structure and routine. Upon request, I can provide references, my Certificate III, Blue Card, and First Aid certificate (HLTAID012). I am flexible with days and times and would be available to start within a two-week notice.

Looking for: Full-time,Part-time,Casual Babysitting,Au Pair

Hi, I'm Lily. I'm 27, and have just moved to Brisbane last week! I would be described as positive, a big ‘go getter’, always smiling and incredible with kids! I have 10 years babysitting experience. I’m actually a photographer now but I reeeally miss babysitting so I’d love to meet a family I could spend time with. I genuinely just love hanging out with kids - riding bikes, craft, going to the beach/mini surf lessons or little chino dates with the babies - I can guarantee your kids will love me! I come with board games, craft, diggers for the beach, surfboards/ skateboards. I have plenty experience with babies and am very confident taking care of them! I love taking them for walks, picnics, and to the park. I'm all over naps/awake windows/led-weaning etc, and always happy to follow your lead! I have a new 4x4, and a brand new car seat fitted for my 2yr old niece - I’m happy to use it to take your kids on outings to the wildlife sanctuary, beach, park, theme park etc. I have a valid pass for Lonepine Koala sanctuary and Dreamworld/White Water world. A bit about me: I've been a Dancer, Snowboard Instructor, AuPair and Travel Videographer for 4 years across Japan, New Zealand, Canada and the US. I've been a homeschool teacher all through covid. I'm currently writing a kids book, designing a kids fashion brand and have recently started sewing, which is my current hobby fixation, so handmade kids toys and clothes will be a perk. First aid: Paramedics study for 2.5 years and completed first placement (6 weeks of 12 hr shifts in the ambulance). I'm a bit of a safety freak haha so you can guarantee your kids will be safe and well taken care of with me! I'm happy to jump on a call or pop over to meet with you and your family!

I have worked with babies, toddlers and primary aged children in crèches 2014-2024. Parents and children would look forward to seeing me working in the creche. My manager at one creche had told me mums would phone to see if was working on the day they were coming in. I once was asked if I would relocate to be a live in nanny. Many times I was asked to babysit the children from the creche outside of creche hours and still do on occasions. Several times I filled in for my daughter’s nanny job as well while she attended uni commitments. I was given the responsibility to look after children overnight as well. I am 63 years young and despite the few wrinkles, young at heart and energetic. I have 2 daughters but not yet a grandmother. I love gardening, organising cupboards and quite enjoy craft activities. I am very reliable. I care for other children as I would my own, being a nanny is not just a job. I like to build relationships with the children and family. Children’s happiness and safety is the priority.
