I am mother and grandmother who has a genuine interest in children and spending time with them. My professional background is in the human service management, but I’m now retired. In 2024 I was a nanny for a family with school aged children providing after school care. I’m friendly, warm and a great listener and seem to build rapport easily with children. I have a Blue Card and first aide certificate and lots of experience as a mum, grandma and nanny. I am available for regular and occasional baby sitting out of hours if required. I have been nannying for a long long time (over 30 yrs) and I’m still loving it! My experience in the childcare industry ranges from working in childcare centres in the early days, to various nanny positions over the years, to raising my own two children. I have my Certificate in Nanny Training through Charlton Brown and my Diploma of Childcare and Education. I do currently have a nanny position on Mondays, Wednesdays and Thursday afternoon, so I am looking for a nanny position for full/half day Tuesdays and Thursday mornings.
