Hi, my name is Christie Trowbridge. I’m 34 years old and currently based in Bondi, where I co-parent my four-year-old daughter. Before launching my own wedding dress design business, I gained extensive experience working as a nanny, and I’ve always loved supporting families and helping things run smoothly behind the scenes. I’m currently working on a casual basis as a personal assistant and nanny, and I’m now looking for a more permanent role as a personal assistant, household manager, and/or nanny. I’m fun, friendly, and highly responsible, with a natural ability to connect with both children and adults. I’ve built strong, lasting relationships with the families I’ve worked with, and I’m happy to provide excellent references. I’m in the process of renewing my Working With Children Check, and I’m more than willing to obtain a current First Aid Certificate and Police Check if required. Looking forward to hearing from you! Warm regards, Christie Trowbridge

Looking for: Part-time

Qualified Sleep Consultant, night nanny and 24hr live in baby nanny (Maternity Practitioner). Hi families, I’m Jennifer. I’ve been working with babies, children, and their families for over 25 years, and I still feel just as passionate about it today as I did when I started. Early in my career, I worked as a live-in nanny for families all over the world - sometimes caring for up to five children in one household, from newborns through to teenagers (managing the whole household + all of the children's activities and needs). It was during this time that I discovered my love for working with newborns, then went on to study more about newborn care and sleep consulting. In 2006, I became a fully accredited Maternity Practitioner through the Maternity Nurse Training College at Reading University in the UK. I'm also a qualified Sleep Consultant and Doula. For more than two decades, I have specialised in postnatal care, night nannying, and sleep training for babies aged 0 - 5 years. I’ve had the privilege of living in with thousands of families across more than 60 countries, often supporting them 24/7 during those precious early months. I’ve guided parents through everything from feeding and settling to establishing healthy routines - and in the process, I’ve developed a gentle, hands-on approach that helps even very young babies learn to sleep soundly (often up to 10 hours a night with feeds). This depth of experience has also allowed me to create my own style of sleep training for older babies. My methods are baby-led and flexible - I don’t follow rigid wake windows or strict routines. Instead, I work closely with each family to create a plan that suits their baby’s needs and their parenting style. My programs have supported thousands of families both online and in person, and I currently consult with up to 10 families per week while also continuing to work as a nanny and in-home sleep consultant. Throughout my career, I’ve cared for hundreds of single babies, more than 50 sets of twins, and two sets of triplets. I’ve clocked well over 70,000 hours living in with families, and every experience has taught me something new. Outside of work, I enjoy living a healthy, balanced lifestyle - I love travelling, staying active at the gym, and cooking. I feel incredibly fortunate to have found a meaningful career that allows me to support families during what can often be a stressful time - and help make it feel a little easier. Education and Formal Training: • Maternity and Child Certification - International Maternity Institute of America • MNT OCN Maternity Practitioners’ Award – Reading University, London • Doula and Birthing Education – The Australian Doula College Sydney. • Understanding settling techniques and sleep in babies and toddlers – Southern Cross University, Gold Coast • Children’s Sleep Training – MNT Reading University, London • Post Natal Depression Training – MNT Reading University, London • Breastfeeding Workshop – MNT Reading University, London • Baby care for nannies – MNT Reading University, London • Emergency Paediatric First Aid Course – MNT Reading University, London • PaediatricFirst Aid Training – Australia • Sleep Guidance Program – Night Nannies • Dunstan Baby Language Course – Night Nannies Skills: • Educate and assist parents with their birthing plans • Assist with breastfeeding and postpartum newborn care • Implement age-appropriate feeding and sleeping routines • Monitor the emotional status of mother once discharged from hospital • Educate parents regarding their options in sleep shaping for older babies and implementation of a sleeping program • Educate the father and older siblings in aspects of newborn care to support the mother • Convey numerous methods for postpartum care relating to feeding, hygiene, clothing, newborn’s environment. 6am - 6pm: Day rate starts from $60 per hour. 6pm - 6am: Night rate: $80 per hour Full day rate (20 hours): $1500 per day (min 1 week booking - to 6 months).

Hi, My name is Emma, I am from the UK currently living in Coogee with my Fiancé, who is a Carpenter. I have previously worked on maternity ward caring for new mothers and newborn babies, I would help them breast feed and mobilise after surgery/ epidural. I absolutely adored my time on the ward. I was able to learn so much about caring for newborn babies, and very vulnerable mummas. I am also part of a charity that takes disabled children away for a week's holiday to Lourdes. Here I was exposed to caring for children who have autism, down syndrome and many other special needs. I am great with kids and being on the other side of the world I miss my own 4 nephews who I am heavily involved with their lives. I would enjoy taking them to the farm, swimming, parks and of course building some serious dens ! I am a corporate girl with a CV covering many administrative / events jobs so would be willing to support the family as PA also.

Looking for: Part-time,Casual Babysitting

Hi families! I’m a caring and reliable babysitter with over 10 years of experience looking after children of all ages, from newborns to school-aged kids. I’ve been a nanny for two families, cared for my nieces and nephews (now 11, 8 and 6) since they were babies, and supported one family for more than 6 years, caring for their eldest from 1 year old and their youngest from 6 months. These experiences have given me a strong foundation in building trust, being dependable, and creating a safe, fun environment. I’m energetic and outgoing, and I love keeping kids engaged whether it’s playing sport, riding bikes, swimming, exploring outdoors, or doing arts and crafts. I also enjoy quieter activities such as knitting, colouring, reading, doing craft, and the occasional TV show or movie binge curled up on the couch. I’m definitely an animal lover, so furry family members are always a bonus, and I love spending time outdoors, especially watching the sunrise or sunset. I’m available for casual babysitting on weekends and evenings, and weekday school support including morning get-ready and drop-off, as well as pick-up after 5pm. I always bring warmth, patience, and enthusiasm to every role. I’d love the chance to meet your family and help out with your babysitting needs!

Hi everyone! My name is Charlize and I am a current university student at UNSW studying engineering. I moved here from NZ in February and I'm looking to make some extra money here and there whilst doing a job I enjoy. I love working with children, I find it super rewarding and usually quite fun, although it can be tough at times. I have pervious experience babysitting around my neighbourhood in NZ and I also used to volunteer at the children's afterschool care centre at my high school, playing with the children until their parents came to pick them up. Being at university, my timetable is pretty flexible so I can usually try to accomodate for whenever you need babysitting. Since I recently moved, I haven't had the chance to get a WWCC however I'm entirely willing to get one if need be. Thanks! Let me know if you're interested 😊

Hello, I am currently travelling Europe until September - and although I’ve only been gone a week, I’m preplanning work for when I get back. I have been babysitting since I was 16 for a variety of families with a various age range of kids. I have also worked for two years at an after school care/holiday programme, so I'm not only qualified in teaching and childcare but am also very knowledgable when it comes to finding fun activities to occupy little minds. I am artsy, I love music, fashion and also have played football (soccer) since I was 5. I am very reliable and extremely enthusiastic about my work in childcare as I plan to be an early childhood teacher later on in my career. I'm looking for any opportunities around Sydney, I have my licence but no car, although I am very capable to get where I need to be and always on time :) I will be back late September and would love to hear from you if I sound like a good fit for your family. I’m also more than happy to do some calls to get to know eachother a bit better whilst I’m away.
