Hello mums and dads! My name is Maria, I’m 29 years old and I’m from Spain. I’ve been in Sydney for three years and during this time I’ve been working as a nanny/babysitter with different families. My last job was looking after a lovely little boy named Felix since he was born until not so long ago that he turned 1 & a half years old. Previously to that, I’d been working with some other families that always treated me like one of them and also as a live-in Aupair looking after three boys.
Please feel free to contact me if you are interested, I would love to have a chat with you, add some more extra information to the description above and answer any other questions you might have and, of course, references.
I look forward to hearing from you =)

Hi, I'm Robynn, a Certificate III early childhood educator and nanny from the U.S. I have extensive experience in childcare, having worked in casual babysitting from the age of 15 and having worked in roles as a daycare centre educator, nanny, au pair, and summer camp counsellor over the past four years. Most of my experience has been with children aged 6 months-14 years of age, and I have experience and confidence with newborns. I have worked with many children with special needs, and I have experience with sole care of multiple children. My other qualifications include first aid and CPR training, 'Working Towards' ACEQA teaching qualification as I pursue my Bachelor of Early Childhood Ed., a NSW WWCC, a police check, and a full NSW Drivers Licence (and my own insured vehicle). I am also fully vaccinated against COVID-19. I am looking for a kind, welcoming family who may need a nanny on a regular basis. My studies resume soon, and my early childhood centre educator role will not suit my new course schedule. I'm looking for a nanny role for Mondays, Fridays, and weekends, preferably ~30 hours/week. Please let me know if that might interest you. Thanks :)

Hi how are you?
I am double vaccinated and I’ve also had my booster. I have almost 20 years experience working as a nanny on and off. I use to specialise in young twins (1-3yrs) but I have experience with all ages and really just love looking after children of any age. At the moment I am hoping to find some casual, after school care, or permanent part time work or even full time possibly. I am completely flexible with days, times or hours as I run my own business from home. I'm more than happy to do light housework and cooking if it is needed. I have a huge passion for arts & crafts, but whatever your child/children's passion, be it singing, dancing and make believe; or Lego, games & kicking the football around the park, I love it all! Basically all I want, is to create a loving, fun and safe environment, where children are able to express themselves while they grow and learn.
Hi! My name is Gemma. I am a 32 year old girl living in Redfern, Sydney and I have had plenty of experience caring for children in the past. I am a caring, outgoing and friendly girl. I am reliable and respectful and absolutely love children! When i was 18, I completed a gap year at a boarding school in the UK. I worked as a teachers assistant and a boarders assistant. This involved helping teachers in the classroom with the students work as well as assisting children who stayed at the school in the evenings with their homework, meals, showers/baths, preparing for the next time and getting read for bed. On occasions we took the children who stayed at the school overnight out for the afternoon/weekend.It was an amazing experience. I have also been an Au pair in the UK for 6 months. I looked after 3 children. 2 girls aged 4 and 7 and a boy aged 5. I was responsible for taking the children to school and picking them up, preparing meals, helping with homework and taking them to 'out of school' activities. Previously, I have been babysitting on a casual basis for a few families and also did some nannying for families in the Inner sydney area . I am a permanent science teacher at Tempe High School. I would really love to pick up some more work either babysitting or casual nannying for a family. I have my own car and a working with children check. I am also willing to give references if need be. I love working with children and find it super enjoyable!

I am learning Spanish (intermediate level) and I'm a bit of a chatterbox (this can be a strength and a weakness). If you think I could be a good fit with your family it would be great to hear from you! I can provide a resume and references upon request. Regards, Charlotte Campbell

Nanny with 18+ years experience passionate about working with the development and education of children. Common questions parents ask their nannies during interviews:
1.) What inspired you to choose to work with young children?
I was 18 and working in hospitality and not enjoying it. I watched an episode of Kids Say the Darnedest Things and said “every day working with kids would be one hilarious day after the next” The next week I land a job at a daycare center working with the 3 year olds and I was right, everyday those kids would make me laugh out loud. But what has kept me in childcare is feeling that my job is directly nurturing the future of this world.
2.) What are you the most passionate about with your work?
Education and physical development. I have a very good eye on how the physical body is developing and I’m very passionate about preventing physical problems by aiding the body to be used correctly when learning crawling, walking, etcetera. Education through play, where it does not feel like learning, is very important to me. A child feeling smart is the first step in them being smart.
3.) Which activities do you feel are important in a child's development during the early learning years?
Interaction and repetition. Any games or activities interacting with others is key. Reading, singing, play time that incorporates multiple senses and movement like, paint, play-duh, sand and so on. For the under 1 year old, lots and lots of touch, singing, and exploring the outdoors.
4. Describe the most stressful situation you have been in when caring for children? Conflict with parents is always the most stressful part of childcare. Parents using positive reinforcement on negative behaviors ie: I make dinner for the children/ child, explaining this is what is for dinner, its ok if you don’t want it but that’s all there is for now. And then a parent coming in and giving the child a cookie. Telling a child he or she can do the next activity after they help tidy up but the parent comes in a gives them a new toy while there are 3 puzzles thrown across the floor.
Explain the strategies you used to manage the issue.
Communicating with the parent, explaining the situation with them and asking for their help to be able to do my job well.
If you like my answers and you’d like to chat feel free to give me a call
I look forward to talking to you about how I can best care for the needs of your family! Please provide email address and I will send you through my cv with a more detailed outline of my experiences.
Hi my name’s Arielle, and I love working with children! I have experience caring for preschool to primary aged children, with positions in various afterschool care and coaching facilities that will enable me to coordinate fun, energetic activities that enrich children's learning experience. I'm currently employed in primary school tuition and afterschool care areas, and would be happy to help with homework. I'm also able to cook meals, with 5 years experience in various hospitality venues across the CBD and Coogee promenade. These childcare experiences have made me really passionate about working with children to help them grow and learn, so I’m very excited for a job opportunity in this area.
I’m a recent Paramedicine graduate, moved to Sydney roughly three years ago and currently looking for some extra work in babysitting! I have experience looking after children ages 2 and up, and also in children with autism.
