I practiced as a solicitor for four years before leaving the industry earlier in 2024 to pursue a career in primary education. In 2024 I worked as an Assistant Coordinator of before and after school care at a local school where I developed my skills in working with children, creating a safe and encouraging environment for them. In that role I was required to assist in running the service, coming up with activities for the children to do and ensuring the environment was safe for them to play. I assisted in running the school holiday program, where I was in charge of staff looking after up to 50 children in service and on excursion. Prior to my career in law I was a nanny and casual babysitter for a number of families in Canberra (whilst I was studying at the Australian National University) and Sydney.
