Qualified Baby Sleep Consultant, night nanny, and 24hr live in baby nanny (Maternity Practitioner). Hi families, I’m Jennifer. I’ve been working with babies, children, and their families for over 25 years, and I still feel just as passionate about it today as I did when I started. Early in my career, I worked as a live-in nanny for families - sometimes caring for up to five children in one household, from newborns through to teenagers (managing the whole household + all of the children's activities and needs). It was during this time that I discovered my love for working with newborns, then went on to study more about newborn care and sleep consulting. For more than two decades, I have specialised in nannying, postnatal care, night nannying, and sleep training for babies aged 0 - 5 years. I’ve had the privilege of living in with thousands of families across more than 60 countries, often supporting them 24/7 during those precious early months. I’ve guided parents through everything from feeding and settling to establishing healthy routines - and in the process, I’ve developed a gentle, hands-on approach that helps even very young babies learn to sleep soundly (often up to 10 hours a night with feeds). This depth of experience has also allowed me to create my own style of sleep training for older babies. My methods are baby-led and flexible - I don’t follow rigid wake windows or strict routines. Instead, I work closely with each family to create a plan that suits their baby’s needs and their parenting style. My programs have supported thousands of families both online and in person, and I currently consult with up to 10 families per week while also continuing to work as a nanny and in-home sleep consultant. Throughout my career, I’ve cared for hundreds of single babies, more than 50 sets of twins, and two sets of triplets. I’ve clocked well over 70,000 hours living in with families, and every experience has taught me something new. Outside of work, I enjoy living a healthy, balanced lifestyle - I love travelling, staying active at the gym, and cooking. I feel incredibly fortunate to have found a meaningful career that allows me to support families during what can often be a stressful time - and help make it feel a little easier. Education and Formal Training: • Maternity and Child Certification - International Maternity Institute of America • MNT OCN Maternity Practitioners’ Award – Reading University, London • Doula and Birthing Education – The Australian Doula College Sydney. • Understanding settling techniques and sleep in babies and toddlers – Southern Cross University, Gold Coast • Children’s Sleep Training – MNT Reading University, London • Post Natal Depression Training – MNT Reading University, London • Breastfeeding Workshop – MNT Reading University, London • Baby care for nannies – MNT Reading University, London • Emergency Paediatric First Aid Course – MNT Reading University, London • PaediatricFirst Aid Training – Australia • Sleep Guidance Program – Night Nannies • Dunstan Baby Language Course – Night Nannies Rates: 6am - 6pm: Day rate starts from $60 per hour. 6pm - 6am: Night rates start from: $80 per hour Full day rate (20 hours): $1500 per day (min 1 week booking - to 6 months).

Looking for: Full-time,Part-time,Casual Babysitting

Hi families! I'm a warm, reliable and highly experienced nanny and household manager based in Sydney. Over the past years I've supported families with newborns, toddlers and school-aged children, often caring for several children at once (four or more) and confidently managing busy home dynamics with calm, structure and a positive attitude. I have strong experience with newborns, including feeding, settling, nap routines, age-appropriate stimulation and supporting parents through the early weeks and months. I'm confident working with young babies who need gentleness, patience and predictable rhythms, and I bring a very grounded, nurturing approach to infant care. I've also worked closely with children with developmental delays and disabilities, supporting them through emotional regulation, sensory needs, communication, learning through play and structured routines. My approach is always respectful, patient and tailored to each children's individual needs. Families appreciate that I am observant, calm under pressure and able to adapt quickly to changing situations. Before moving to Australia, I worked as a lawyer in Argentina, specialising in corporate and labour law. Alongside my studies and professional work, I also worked as a nanny, caring for babies and young children throughout my university years. Childcare has always been a meaningful part of my life, and that early experience is what eventually guided me toward turning it into my full-time career. My legal background shaped many of the strengths I bring into homes today: organisation, communication, confidentiality, attention to detail and the ability to manage sensitive moments with empathy and professionalism. As a household manager, I take great pride in keeping a home running smoothly. I naturally organise spaces, manage laundry, tidy common areas, prepare meals, coordinate tasks and bring structure to the day. Many families I've worked with describe me as a true "life saver"; because I anticipate needs and help create a calmer, lighter environment, especially during busy seasons. Cooking is one of my biggest passions. Over the past years I've dedicated a lot of time to studying nutrition, meal planning and healthy cooking techniques. I now focus on preparing fresh, balanced and often organic meals that support both children and adults. I love creating nourishing recipes, healthy snacks and weekly meal preps that simplify family life and bring joy to the table. Outside of work, I live a healthy, active lifestyle. I enjoy training at the gym, cooking, exploring new recipes, learning about nutrition and spending quality time with the people I love. I am always learning, improving my skills and bringing thoughtful ideas into the homes I work with. What I enjoy most about this work is being able to support families in a real, practical and emotional way - helping their days flow smoother, offering stability and warmth to children, and bringing a sense of ease into the home. If you are looking for someone nurturing, capable, organised and genuinely committed to helping your family thrive, I would love to connect.

Hello, potential employers! With 20 years of experience working with children of various ages I'm, hopefully, the person that will leave you with peace of mind when I care for your family. I'm a mature, yet young-at-heart and active Australian nanny who is well-travelled and cultured. I'm a strict non-smoker and respect that my workplace is also the family's home environment; I treat it with as much care as my own home and value the family's privacy. I'm an early riser and extremely punctual. I'm fully vaccinated for whooping cough, flu & covid. Museums, galleries, playgroups, parks, and libraries get regular visits from myself and the little people with me.
