Hi there! I am currently a third-year student in Sydney, studying a bachelor of science. In 2019, I took a GAP year in which I worked in a primary school in the UK working directly with kids aged from 5 to 14 years old. I also have experience babysitting for families around my hometown in central NSW. Looking forward to seeing if I am a fit for your family!
I have my working with children check, am fully vaccinated and can provide references if needed.
Hello, I'm Carol, I'm 24 years old, I'm Brazilian and I came to Australia to learn English.
I'm easy-going , I love playing with children and pets, I like to go to parks, do outdoor activities, cook, make cakes and cookies. I like to work with children because they always teach me a lot of words in English. I am always willing to do what I can to help fathers and mothers organize the house and take care of the children.

Michelle is not only creative, calm and hard working, her honesty and polite approach to staff and students is always admirable. Michelle is innovative and her stage management skills, ability to forward plan and train others is a great asset. I've had the delight to work along side Michelle during school productions of casts up to 80 children and Michelle is always prepared, relaxed and ready for anything. Her tech skills are brilliant. I always enjoy my time working along side Michelle, she is reliable and makes me look amazing!
I consider myself an organized person, able to adapt and learn quickly. Also, I am used to caring for children as I have younger siblings.
And about my hobbies, I like to do sports and spend my time outdoors; I enjoy cooking and reading.
I only want to be at home when the weather is terrible.
In 2008 I came to Australia from Brazil to study English and Business at the Business College CBD and faculty of education and social work. I am committed, polite and respectful of people's time and personal space. I'm punctual and always pay attention to different styles of parenting, as it helps me to be the best nanny I can be. I am passionate about the world of children and enjoy art, colouring, reading children's books and watching children's films. I have watched with a 36 month read one of Sesame Street’s story books in a rhythmic sing-song way. Children are highly inspirational; us adults can learn a lot by simply watching them play. I am able to cook and I love to cook great meals as soup heath snacks and nutritious meals. Ideally, I'm looking for a permanent position but will consider casual or part-time work. I have excellent references and will provide them upon request. Please feel free to contact me +61 448 326 975
Kind Regards Bella
Hi beautiful families! I am currently interested in finding a regular family to nanny for while studying. I have nannied on and off for regular families on a casual basis, and am now looking for some regular part time work. I have been working in hospitality and sales for the past few years, and am looking to transition to nannying part time while studying. I love to cook (and oddly find cleaning quite satisfying) so am more than happy to help our around the house where I can! I am a very outgoing, social and active individual, and endeavour to be as proactive as I can while working. I am currently looking after a gorgeous 1 year old boy on Monday's and Tuesdays, and have previously looked after a 2 & 7 year old girl, and a 3 & 4 year old boy. I am currently in the process of getting my WWCC and First Aid qualifications as I decide to take on nannying work part time. Please feel free to send me any questions you have. I look forward to hopefully chatting more soon and meeting your little ones!
Looking for any weekend nanny opportunities or evening babysitting 5pm onwards Mon-Fri. I am enthusiastic, energetic and very keen to eventually pursue youth work at some point in my career. Having returned from working with children in Canada, I find it rewarding and meaningful and am looking for available childcare opportunities alongside my current full time position. I am 25 years old and gained considerable childcare experience from a gap year placement working overseas in England in a boarding house caring for 18 ten year old boys. I am the eldest of 10 cousins and have been looking after babies and young children since I was 12 as well as doing various babysitting jobs for local families over the years. Most recently, I returned from Canada where I was working in a role with X Movement. We worked across primary schools in the greater Toronto area facilitating in-school extra curricular programs with an emphasis on mental wellbeing through mindfulness, movement and mateship. I have completed a significant amount of community service working in a after school care in Beecroft and have qualifications from lifesaving Australia as well as my first aid certificate. I also coached a young netball team for 2 years in 2013/2014. I feel confident working with children of all ages and have a substantial amount of flexibility in the evenings as I am currently working from home.

Nanny with 18+ years experience passionate about working with the development and education of children. I have extensive experience with newborns, toddlers, children's up to age 10, multiples, nanny share, and disabilities. Happy to keep log book for infant feeding, sleep, play, nappy change, and so on.
Common questions parents ask their nannies during interviews:
1.) What inspired you to choose to work with young children?
I was 18 and working in hospitality and not enjoying it. I watched an episode of Kids Say the Darnedest Things and said “every day working with kids would be one hilarious day after the next” The next week I landed a job at a daycare center working with the 3 year olds and I was right, everyday those kids would make me laugh out loud. But what has kept me in childcare is feeling that my job is directly nurturing the future of this world.
2.) What are you the most passionate about with your work?
Education and physical development. I have a very good eye on how the physical body is developing and I’m very passionate about preventing physical problems by aiding the body to be used correctly when learning crawling, walking, etcetera. Education through play, where it does not feel like learning, is very important to me. A child feeling smart is the first step in them being smart.
3.) Which activities do you feel are important in a child's development during the early learning years?
Interaction and repetition. Any games or activities interacting with others is key. Reading, singing, play time that incorporates multiple senses and movement like, paint, play-duh, sand and so on. For the under 1 year old, lots and lots of touch, singing, and exploring the outdoors.
4. Describe the most stressful situation you have been in when caring for children? Conflict with parents is always the most stressful part of childcare. Parents using positive reinforcement on negative behaviors ie: I make dinner for the children/ child, explaining this is what is for dinner, its ok if you don’t want it but that’s all there is for now. And then a parent coming in and giving the child a cookie. Telling a child he or she can do the next activity after they help tidy up but the parent comes in a gives them a new toy while there are 3 puzzles thrown across the floor.
Explain the strategies you used to manage the issue.
Communicating with the parent, explaining the situation with them and asking for their help to be able to do my job well.
If you like my answers and you’d like to chat feel free to give me a call
I look forward to talking to you about how I can best care for the needs of your family! Please provide email address and I will send you through my cv with a more detailed outline of my experiences.

Hello! I am looking for a part-time babysitting job for this semester. A little about me: I am in Sydney on exchange from the US. Back home, I learned responsibility and how to care for children at a young age as I grew up with three younger siblings. I have had numerous babysitting jobs for kids in my local area during the school year, and a summer-long nannying job a few years back. I have also worked as a summer camp counselor for two years, watching kids ages 7-12. I am pretty flexible with hours and am happy to do laundry and other household chores. Excited to connect with you! Please reach out with any questions :)
Hi! I’m an international student from Italy, I’m currently studying for a Master in Art therapy at the western Sydney uni. I worked as nanny for many many years, while I was studying for my BA and during the first wave of covid I took care of 2 brothers and in 2019 I worked as AuPair in Melbourne :)
I have the skills required to be a great nanny, I leaned to be extra patient, I’m always listening to the kid’s needs and most importantly I always want they to have a good time and to have fun, even when we have to do “boring” homework :) I’m also very sweet and extra reliable
I have a WWCC and I’m also currently working as art teacher in some schools:)
Hope you will consider my profile :)))
Hi! My name is Portia and I am an exchange student from Seattle, Washington USA. I am studying at the University of Sydney for a semester and hoping to find part-time or casual babysitting work while abroad. Back at home, I have babysat kids of all ages, helped with summer camps for kids, and I have had an ongoing nannying job with a family for over six years. I am pretty flexible with days and hours, and always happy to help with housework (laundry, cooking, homework, etc.), or take care of dogs/cats/other pets if needed. I am an organized, fun, patient, and caring sitter who is excited to find work while in Sydney!
Hello my name is Olivia. I currently work as a year 3/4 classroom teacher in Darwin. I will be in Sydney for 3 months (September - November) and am looking for a live in or full time nanny role. I am a kind, caring and bubbly person who would love to look after and care for your children.
I have been nannying for children aged 0-12 for over 15 years, and with my current family (2xboys 4 and 6) for 6 years. I am completing my psychology degree with an aim to ultimately attain my forensic or clinical masters. In addition, I have a bachelor of music and a graduate diploma of counselling. I am signed to an agency as an acoustic vocalist for events, and also regularly work as a session musician assisting on recordings or tours. I am desperate to stay with my current family as long as possible and taking on some morning/daytime work will hopefully allow me to do that whilst I finish studying!
My name is Zoe, I'm 19 and currently studying 5 days a week but finish at midday most days and am able to do occasional weekends when needed. I spent many of my high school years babysitting and find it to be a very rewarding job that I hope to continue. I love working with younger children but am very happy to work with any age group.
I am a kind, caring, enthusiastic nanny with years of experience working with children. I started babysitting for neighbours and friends at the age of 16 which helped develop my love for working with children and led to my career in primary school teaching. I have 4 years experience in teaching in primary schools with all age groups. As a babysitter I enjoy doing outdoor activities and playing games, aswell as helping with homework.
