Hi there! I’m looking for a friendly, reliable babysitter to help with my two lovely daughters (ages 6 and 9) once or twice a week in the mornings. They’re a lot of fun — mornings usually involve music, dancing, and a bit of laughter before school!
Details: 🕕 Start time: 6:30am at our apartment in Fitzroy 🕘 Finish time: Around 8:45am (school drop-off) 📅 Days: Every other Tuesday, plus possibly one additional morning each week (still confirming exact days as I’ve just started a new job) 🚋 Transport: Take the girls to school via tram (quick and easy route)
Responsibilities include: - Making breakfast and helping them get ready - Ensuring bags are packed (lunchboxes will be done) - Teeth brushing, shoes on, and out the door on time! - Getting them safely to school
There may also be some opportunities for extra babysitting during school holidays.
My name is Tamara. Myself and my husband have two girls - 7 and 10 years. We are looking for someone to support with school drop offs Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday mornings (7-10am). We are located in Northcote. The role includes giving the children breakfast, getting them ready and dropping them off to school. Finally we ask for a quick tidy of the kids room / breaky plates/ hang a load of washing etc when you get back from drop off.
Our girls are a true pleasure to be with. They are well behaved and fun (with a bit of cheekiness of course!) and drop offs have never been a problem.
If this is something you are interested in we would love to hear from you.
We are a family with 3 boys aged 2, 5 and 6 based in Eltham North looking for help two or three days a weeks for school drop offs and pick ups as well as caring for our 2 year old during the day and 5 and 6 year old after school.
Our beautiful nanny (who is also my niece!) is moving to Germany to be an au pair, so we are looking for a nanny to help our family when I return to work next year. We’d also like some casual help at the end of this year but are flexible on days/hours. Details below.
- we are looking for someone a couple of mornings or afternoons per week throughout end of November and December while I am still on parental leave (flexible with days), and then Mon, Tues and Fri 8am - 6pm next year starting 5th Jan until around September (with potential ongoing work after that).
- we have a daughter who is to be 3 this November and a boy who will be 1 in April. We also have a very friendly boxer dog.
- the most important thing to us is that our nanny is very engaged with our children and prioritises their safety and care. We are looking for someone who adores children and will play with and nurture them throughout the day.
- key activities will include taking the kids to the park, on walks, playing inside and outside, light meal prep, bathing kids, nappy changes, bottles etc.
- WWCC, police check and references essential. First aid would be amazing but if you don’t have it, we will pay for you to do a course.
- we keep a clean and tidy home and don’t expect any cleaning duties but some tidying up after the kids is appreciated.
- we are based in Northcote, right near a train station and with ample parking available too.
- hourly rate dependent on level of experience and availability.
We are hoping to meet someone who will become a really important part of our family unit and would love to hear from you if the above is of interest.
I am looking for a friendly, engaging, experienced nanny/housekeeper in Fitzroy Nth to help with the care of three children (6,13,12) and my house! I am looking for someone who is looking for a long term role.
- Monday 2.30pm-8.30pm; and
- every second Saturday from 8.30am - 1.30pm (sometimes could start later / finish later - some flexibility requested)
Housekeeping would include tasks (such as emptying the dishwasher, folding clothes, meal prep, tidying away toys, food shopping) but no heavy cleaning.
Nannying would include (helping with homework, taking kids to the playground/library, driving them to activities, playing games with them)
I would love to find someone who has potential for more hours during school holidays, even coming away for a few days on holidays, and/or staying over every now and then on weekends and ad hoc evening babysitting.
We are a family of four looking for a caring nanny to join our household. Our little boy is ten months old and our daughter is four. We would love to find someone who enjoys working with the same family over time and is interested in babysitting for us for at least the next 12 months (ideally longer!). We don't have any family nearby (all interstate and overseas) so a regular, trusted babysitter that our kids can get to know and form a bond with is really important to us. Our last sitter was with us for 2.5 years but has just embarked on a career change.
We're looking for a sitter who is kind, caring, and enjoys being involved in the girls' play. Our 4yo loves arts and crafts and our 20-mo is very active and always on-the-go, so someone with experience working with siblings of similar ages would be a big plus! The girls are always up for a visit to the park, Melbourne Museum or Collingwood Children’s Farm (all within walking distance).
Please get in touch if you think we sound like a good fit!

Thanks so much for taking a look at our job! We have three children aged 11, 9, and 4, and we’re looking for someone to help one evening a week, a few hours during the day on another day, and occasionally on weekends.
Our wonderful previous babysitter has just started a full-time job, so we’re hoping to find someone new to join our family routine. We’ve had such lovely experiences with babysitters and au pairs over the years and really value the warmth and care they bring into our home.
It would be great if you could also help with some light household chores or cooking, especially if that’s something you enjoy.

We are on the hunt for a nanny/babysitter to assist our family of 4 (+ Gus our Hungarian Vizsla) in Albert Park, to commence in a few weeks. We would like this to be ongoing/permanent for the next 6-12 months (with a break for around a month at Christmas time).
The days/hours we are looking for:
Thursdays 8-4
Fridays 8-12
Occasionally these days may change and/ or we would love to give additional hours during the week/weekend when required.
We are super keen to have somebody the kids have become familiar with that we can call upon other than family when needed.
We have Ned (22 month old) and Pippa (8 weeks old).
Care would mainly be for our newborn Pippa and would for the most part be feeding, settling, napping, changing, floor time etc.
Occasionally care for both Ned and Pippa.
This will allow me to drop Ned to daycare/attend appointments/catch up on work etc, so I would be in and out of the house during these hours.
During nap times some light house duties (tidying up, washing bottles etc) would be expected.
Midwife, nursing or childcare background highly regarded.
I'm looking for a nanny mainly for children pick-up and drop-off during weekdays, as follow:
4 days weekly (Monday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday): 1 hour in the morning (between 7-9am) to pick up the kids (change and feed them) and take them to childcare which is 5 minutes away + 2 hours (from 6-8pm) in the evening, to collect the kids from childcare, and wash/change/feed them before bedtime.
Tuesday: 9-10 hours all day nannying at home, when there is no childcare (but I go to work).
And possibly 1-2 days on the weekend (Saturday or Sunday): 5-6 hours
I'm looking for a nanny with past experience caring for infants, who is friendly, warm, and educated about baby development and needs, has good command of English, and can do light house duties.
Please message me if interested/qualified/serious.
Ideally, you should be living not far from South Yarra, Vic.
Thank you,

We are looking for a nanny to care for our two girls, ages 18mo and 3.75yo during the day.
I am planning to embark on the process of looking for jobs to return to the workforce after a career break, and need support to enable me to do so. During this period, we are looking for someone ~15-20hrs/week across Mon/Tue/Wed/Thu. We can be flexible with exactly when those hours fall, and would be looking to split them over three or four days.
Once I have returned to work, we will be looking for someone to support us 3-4days a week. If the candidate we find for the near-term support is able to stay on with us long-term, that would be ideal though certainly not mandatory.
We are looking for a nanny who has a WWC, is First Aid and CPR trained, COVID and Flu vaccinated and minimum 2 parent references. Additionally, a valid driver licence and clean driving record.
Ideally we would also love our nanny to help with some light housework, largely relating to the girls: mealtime prep/packdown etc., laundry, tidying living/bedrooms etc.
We are a young, friendly couple looking for a caring, energetic, and experienced nanny to join our family and help care for our 18-month-old son. We’re looking for someone who genuinely enjoys engaging with toddlers — playing, exploring, teaching new things, and creating a fun and loving environment.
**About the Role:**
* Care for our 18-month-old son 2 days a week (daytime hours) flexible with days
* Help with age-appropriate activities and development
* Light housework and simple meal prep
* Experience with newborns is essential, as we’re expecting our baby girl in December
* Opportunity for increased hours once the baby arrives
We are seeking someone who wants to be part of our family long-term — a warm, reliable presence our children can grow up with. If you're passionate about childcare, have experience with young children and babies, and are looking for a meaningful, lasting role, we’d love to hear from you!
We are a small family of 3 and are looking for a nanny for our 8 year old son. Our son is a happy energetic loving child who is very good at maths, reading, music and spelling. We would like our nanny to be able to drive safely, pick him up from school, actively engage with his learning (writing and reading) and assist with his care in the evening - dinner and bedtime routine. Housework will be a part of the job description. Light cooking for our son and cleaning will be involved. We are both busy professionals and need someone who is trustworthy, structured/ organised, punctual and very reliable. Active engagement with his studies is important to us. Most importantly, a kind, patient and loving personality is essential for this job, given our son has autism and ADHD (diagnosed)
We are a Hawthorn based professional family hoping to find a nanny to care for our daughters (4 months old and 2.5yrs) on a regular Wednesday and ideally some casual babysitting as well.
We are looking for someone who has a childcare background or is an experienced nanny confident looking after both newborns and toddlers. The position would be ongoing into next year so ideally looking for someone who can commit to a minimum of 6 months. We also have a Portugese water dog (Pedro) so applicants need to be comfortable and confident with dogs.
