Job Details: Part-time

$35 per hour

Hello!

We’ve recently relocated from the Surf Coast to Melbourne and are looking for a wonderful part-time nanny to become part of our family and help care for our two daughters, aged 4 and 7.

Tuesdays | 8:00 am – 5:00 pm
Our eldest will need to be dropped off at school in the morning, after which you'll spend the day with our youngest. We'd love someone who enjoys creating fun, engaging days—whether that's arts and crafts at home, trips to the museum or library, playground adventures, or other age-appropriate activities.

In the afternoon, you'll collect our eldest from school, prepare dinner for the girls, and finish around 5:00 pm.

Thursdays | 4:00 pm – 8:00 pm
You'll begin by giving the house a light tidy and preparing dinner for the girls. Once we bring them home from sport, we'd love you to help with dinner, bath time, and the bedtime routine. Thursday is our regular date night, so we'll be home by around 8:00 pm.

We're also likely to offer extra hours to assist with our social schedules on weekend every now and then

About You
We're looking for someone who is:

Warm, caring and genuinely enjoys spending time with children.
Fun, energetic and playful, with plenty of initiative.
Happy to help with light household tasks related to the children, and happy to cook meals.
A confident driver with a current driver's licence.
Reliable, organised and looking for a long-term role with a lovely family.

If this sounds like you, we'd love to hear from you and learn a little about your experience and why you think you'd be a great fit for our family.

Job Details: Part-time

$45 per hour

Hello! We are looking for an experienced nanny to help care for our four children - 2 year old boy/girl twins and 8 year old girl and 10 year old girl.

The role includes dropping and picking up the older two kids off at school in nearby Moonee Ponds, then spending the day with our twins doing whatever keeps you and them entertained!

Kids get up around 0730. Twins have a nap at 12pm for 90mins and go to bed at 1900 (just put them in their cots and they go to sleep), older two girls will just need breakfast and dinner and a reminder to brush their teeth! We're in walking distance of Melbourne Zoo, Brunswick Sydney Road and about 3 parks and a few coffee shops!

The standard day will be 0630 - 1830. We're shift workers so there will often be weeks that you won't be needed for the entire day - we'll pay you fixed hours each week so don't worry you won't lose out. We have a car with all the car seats ready to go and for your use both days and we'll provide food in the fridge for you and the kids. We'll provide a roster 3 months in advance so we can all be organised!

If you'd prefer a wrap around role - 0630 - 0900 / 1530 - 1900 - we can do that too, just reach out and we can have a chat.

If you are able to provide a housekeeper role - let me know!

NEW! Tuesday Nanny - Loving, gentle & chaotic family

Fairfield, VIC | 6 km

Start Date: 01 Jul 26
Applications Close: 15 Aug 26

Posted by Laura 6 hours ago

Job Details: Part-time

Hourly rate not specified

We (Laura, Marc, Henry (6y) , Rosie (4y) and Georgie (18m)) are looking for a kind, caring, gentle, loving and fun nanny to help our family out on a Tuesday each week from 7:30am - 5:30pm.

A typical day will look like:

7:30am - Arrive into chaos, but also sleepy morning hugs. Hopefully the kids are dressed and eating breakfast, but maybe not. Tag team with Laura and Marc as they go off to exercise and work. Ensure Henry is ready for school (lunchbox etc) , and the girls are dressed and ready to drop him off.

8:20am - Drive to school, drop Henry off with high fives ready for an 8:50am school start

8:50am - 3pm - Spend the day with Rosie and Georgie - Arts and crafts, baking, library visits, trips to the zoo/park, or play it by feel/mood. Georgie is still on 2 naps, Rosie can have a little bit of gentle TV in the middle of the day to give you some space to eat / help with some folding / throw some ingredients into the slow cooker for dinner or just recalibrate yourself and the house depending on the days activities.

3pm - Drive to school to pick Henry up with the girls.

4pm-5:30pm - Henry and Rosie usually play to catch up on the day, then bath the kids, and a little dinner prep would be appreciated. Laura or Marc will then be home and takeover. You may have arrived into chaos, but hopefully you leave in calm :)

About us: We like the simple things in life, we try to parent gently, we would appreciate a nanny who understands and is patient with the ever changing emotions of a developing brain, we validate emotions while also set appropriate boundaries.

In our spare time we love to go camping, gardening, baking, spending time with family and friends, exploring rock pools, exercise is a big part of the adult routines, the kids do swimming and AusKick.

Henry loves nature, arts and crafts especially drawing and adores school. Rosie loves imaginative play, dressing up and going to the library and shops, Georgie loves helping, climbing, animals and emptying out the kitchen cupboards! There is a lot of love between the siblings and only fairly minor fights, Henry and Rosie can play for hours. They love Georgie fiercely, Rosie on occasion a little too much and is very protective of her family :)

About you: We would love someone who has heaps of common sense, uses initiative, is good at cooking and baking, generous with their hugs and love, happy to get on the floor and play, while we understand the need for breathers and breaks if the kids are having some downtime, we would also love a little help with hanging out a wash load, folding some clothes etc but this is secondary to the kids care and attention.

Extra Context: I (Laura) have just got a new job and the hours, etc are still a little up in the air, there may be additional shifts available e.g. a morning or evening, and casual babysitting if there is interest. But our core requirement is a reliable Tuesday full day shift. We would like someone close-by to help with this flexibility. I may be working from home on the Tuesday, but preferably at the office. I will try to keep myself hidden as Georgie can be clingy if I am around, but she is completely fine when I'm not!

In the morning, it's quite easy - you change their nappy from the night, give them a formula bottle, and take them to childcare, which is 5 minutes away, between 7-8am in the morning, so it can take about 30-40 minutes total.

1-2 days After-school sitter for my 11 year old

Fairfield, VIC | 6 km

Start Date: 12 Jul 26
Applications Close: 11 Aug 26

Posted by RENEE 19 days ago

Job Details: Part-time

$35 per hour

I'm after a regular sitter for my son, 11. One or two afternoons a week (flexible on which days), about 3.30 to 6.30 or 7pm, plus the occasional weekend.

He's auADHD but he's pretty independent, so it's an easy gig. He's a smart, funny kid who loves gaming and fun facts, and he has a special interest that changes week to week. Chess for a while, then golf, then table tennis, rock climbing, boxing ...you get the picture. You'd want to be someone who's happy to join in on whatever the current thing is.

If you're into gaming or full of random facts yourself, or have a special interest activity you two will get along.

He's been having his afternoons to himself lately and quite likes it, so part of the job is getting him off screens and doing stuff together. He'd game all afternoon if nobody stopped him.

Day to day it's pretty simple: hang out with him, make him some dinner, tidy the kitchen after.

If you've spent time around neurodivergent kids through work, family or your own experience, that's a big plus. He also has NDIS community participation funding, so if you're a qualified support worker or have an ABN activities and outings can be billed at support rates.

I'm a solo parent looking for someone ongoing and reliable, ideally a familiar face he ends up looking forward to.

If that sounds like you, tell me a bit about yourself and what days you're free.

Hello

We are a family in Alphington with 3 children, a 10-year-old girl and two boys, aged 8 and 5. We are looking for a warm, fun and calm nanny to help get our 3 children to school and kinder.

The role is for Monday, Tuesday and Thursday mornings from 7.30-9.30am. Finishing time can be slightly earlier if this impedes other commitments.

The role will mainly focus on supporting our youngest child to get to kinder. Experience with, or an understanding of, children with ADHD/ASD will be preferred. If time allows after drop off, some light tidying of the kitchen or hanging out of the washing would be very much appreciated but not expected.

Both school and kinder are a short walk/very short drive from our home.

If this sounds like a role you’d enjoy, we’d love to hear from you.

Nanny Wanted – Coburg (Mondays & Tuesdays)

Coburg, VIC | 7 km

Start Date: 03 Aug 26
Applications Close: 19 Aug 26

Posted by Lisa 10 days ago

Job Details: Part-time

$35 per hour

We're a friendly family in Coburg looking for a warm, energetic nanny to care for our two children, Henry (5) and Sofia (2) on Mondays and Tuesdays from 7:30am–3:30pm, starting 3 August.

We're looking for someone who loves getting out and about and creating fun, active days. We'd love our kids to spend their days exploring playgrounds, museums, the zoo, libraries, bike rides, nature walks and other local adventures. On rainy days, we'd love someone who can keep them entertained with arts and crafts, sensory play, baking, games and imaginative play.

Henry is a curious and creative five-year-old who loves dinosaurs, arts and crafts, riding his bike and discovering new things. Sofia is our little firecracker. She is full of personality, always on the go, and happiest making everyone pretend coffees in her play kitchen.

Sofia still usually has a nap around midday. She doesn't nap well when out, so on most days we'd like her to be home around lunchtime (12-1pm) for her sleep. Occasionally, we're happy for her to skip her nap if there's a special outing planned.

We're looking for someone who is:

* Warm, kind and reliable.
* Active and happy spending lots of time outdoors.
* Confident taking young children on outings.
* Creative and able to keep children engaged at home when the weather isn't great.
* Comfortable preparing simple meals and tidying up after the kids throughout the day.
* Help out with light chores, especially never-ending piles of laundry 😅

We live close to plenty of parks, train station and family-friendly attractions, making it easy to plan fun days out.

If this sounds like you, we'd love to hear from you!
