I’m a single mum looking for a reliable, patient and attentive carer to be an extra pair of hands with my two kids (a 4-year-old boy and 6-year-old girl). Both are bright, hilarious little humans who are also neurospicy (ADHD/autistic traits) and sometimes struggle with emotional regulation, transitions and tired end-of-day feelings.
This is an ongoing arrangement, not a short-term role. I’m hoping to find someone who can commit for at least the next 4 months (ideally longer) and become a consistent, familiar face for the kids (and our hairless dog).
The kids are absolute sweethearts - they just need someone who “gets” them, can see past the tricky moments, and help them feel safe and regulated.
Your role: • Collect from daycare (Fitzroy) & after school care (Clifton Hill) • Drive kids home to Fitzroy • Prepare simple kid-friendly meals • Supervise showers, help with PJs, stories and settling into bed • Provide calm, caring support with big feelings/meltdowns when they happen
Occasional Mondays may also include: • Caring for my 4-year-old during the day • Taking him to his swimming lesson and other appointments
Very occasional Saturdays might also pop up and could include: • Hanging out with both kids while I’m at work (think parks, play, crafts) • Taking the 6-year-old to their swimming lesson (Clifton Hill) while you chill on the sidelines with the 4-year-old • Keeping them entertained, safe and fed through the day until I’m home from work
PLEASE NOTE **hours will vary week to week**
My work hours can be unpredictable, so I’m hoping to find someone who can be a bit flexible and is comfortable with a changing schedule (always with as much notice as I can give).
About you • Genuinely enjoy kids and are warm, playful and kind • Calm and patient, especially with emotional ups and downs • Reliable, organised and good with routines • Experience with autistic/ADHD or other neurodivergent kids is highly preferable • Comfortable with basic cooking and light end-of-day kid chores
Requirements • Own car • Appropriate child seats (or willing to make an arrangement) • WWCC (or willing to obtain) • First Aid/CPR a big plus
**WAGE is negotiable depending on experience**
If this sounds like you, I’d love to hear a bit about your experience, availability and why you think you’d be a good fit for this spicy little crew.
Hi!
We are a family of three, both parents returning to work in January. Looking for a friendly, reliable nanny to take care of our lovely 1 year-old daughter for two days during the week (daytimes Monday and Wednesday). Days are a lot of fun and include activities we would love you to be involved in (e.g. Gymbaroo, swimming, library story times, playgrounds, looking for ducks etc.).
Some other details:
-- We are ideally looking for someone who can commit to a 12-month arrangement with us
-- Start date is flexible in January
-- Support with basic household tasks would also be great (e.g. washing/folding clothes, dishes, basic meal prep)
-- If you speak French or Spanish, that is a bonus (but not essential)!
If this sounds like you, we'd love to hear from you!

We are a warm, respectful and flexible family who values communication and the well-being of the person caring for Leo. We want our nanny to feel appreciated, supported and fully included in our daily life.
We are starting our search now so we can offer a few occasional days before March, a great opportunity to get to know Leo, build a bond gently, and make sure we are the right “match” for one another.

My name is Sophie (44) and my husband is Jacob (35). We welcomed our daughter, Valerie, in July this year after a very lengthy and complex fertility journey. She has been the little miracle we were hoping for and she is a ray of sunshine in our lives. Jacob and I are both passionate about family and friends, travel, healthy living and we enjoy our respective careers. We both work in hybrid roles (3 days in office, 2 days at home) so one of us will often be home working from the front office on alternating days.
About our home:
Our home is a lovely light-filled and carefully curated space to spend the day, with a small back yard and lawn. Heating/cooling and well equipped kitchen for your use. Easy pram walks to plenty of local parks, cafes and ammenities nearby, too.
We’re looking for a reliable, kind, punctual, competent nanny with good communication skills, who can help us look after our 8-9 month old, along with fetching our 3.5 year old to kinder, and looking after them in the afternoon.

We are looking at $35 per hour plus super and leave entitlements (4 weeks of annual leave , of which 2 weeks being the nanny’s choice), or the equivalent in casual rates if that is preferred and can be discussed.
We’re hoping to build a long term relationship with our nanny ideally beyond a year although we understand plans can change.
Hello lovely nannies!
Our current nanny is about to move away, so we are now looking for a new fun, loving and energetic nanny to care for our two kids. We are a friendly outgoing family of four and we both work in the Melbourne CBD. We love eating, heading out to the park, riding bikes and making each other laugh!
Our 11yo daughter is creative and crafty, while our 8yo son is active and loves a laugh. Both kids adore books and reading and really get into imaginative play.
We need help for four afternoons a week (Tuesday to Friday).
Proposed hours are 1.30pm to 6.30/7pm (we are flexible with start time, depending on your availability) to allow time to prepare the evening meal (happy for you to eat with the kids or take some home) and carry out some light household duties prior to the after-school pick-up. (The school is a short stroll away).
Although the primary focus is to care for and stimulate our kids, duties will include food preparation (afternoon tea, cooking a simple dinner for the family), supervision of homework, showers and some light housework (e.g., folding laundry, general tidying and a small amount of vacuuming).
After school care including school pick up for our 4 and 6 year old boys (4 year old goes to kinder on school site) 2:45-4:30pm. Our six year old has autism so needs a patient and kind person, ideally with experience with neurodiverse children. Ideally you would be available for school holiday care too.
School pick up could be by car or bus (so drivers licence would be good but not essential).

Take care of my toddler Penelope (birthday 31/07/24) on Mondays and Thursdays while I work from home. Start at 8:30am and finish at 4pm at our Moonee Ponds house.
Must like dogs - we have a cavoodle.
Penelope's middle-of-day nap is usually 2 hours-long. Household chores during this time.
Ideally would be open to coming more often for some half days from May 2026 onwards as we are expecting a baby then and may need extra support.
Our two children are nearly six and eight years old. After many years with us, our current wonderful nanny is moving on. We are looking for a long-term nanny to become a new part of our family and help provide stability and security.
We need:
- Afternoons, 2-7pm Wednesday, Thursday, Friday (Mum and Dad arrive home just before 7pm)
- School pick-up (10 min drive, booster seats provided)
- Dinner preparation (reheat or simple preps), tidying, dishes
- Supervision of music practice and homework
- Extended hours are available for a household manager to support with other house cleaning, laundry and grocery shopping
Our kids are energetic and bright, and love reading, crafting, puzzles and games. Our family enjoys learning about languages, cultures and the natural world. We do not use screen-time during the week and have a gentle parenting style (or so others tell us!). We use structure and routine to help the rhythm and flow of our family in a light-hearted way and we don’t take ourselves too seriously.
Our ideal nanny has high emotional intelligence, is calm, patient, caring and understanding with children, particularly during times of high emotions. They value children’s voices and opinions and can support them with co-regulation when needed. They see themselves as more than a babysitter, take pride in their important position in the lives of children and have open communication with parents. Certificate III or higher in childcare would be desirable.
We look forward to embracing our new nanny, with their own style and the unique qualities they will bring in to our family.
I’m searching for a carer who is able to assist with dropping off and picking up my 6 year old son from primary school and my 12 year old from high school most days from Monday to Friday.
