Experienced (career) nanny for toddlers

Experienced Nanny Wanted – 2–3 Days Per Week

We are a warm, loving family looking for an experienced, caring and reliable nanny to help care for our one-year-old child on a regular basis.

We are looking for someone who genuinely enjoys spending time with young children and would love to become a trusted and valued part of our family’s routine.

The role

We are looking for someone available 2–3 days per week, with consistent days preferred. The hours can be discussed with the right candidate.

On most days, you will be caring for our one-year-old. On one of the days, there may be two one-year-old children to care for together, so we are looking for someone who is confident and experienced managing two young children at this age.

Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

* Providing warm, attentive and nurturing care

* Following our child’s established routine, including meals and naps

* Planning and engaging in age-appropriate play and activities

* Getting out for walks, playgrounds, classes or other local activities where appropriate

* Preparing healthy meals and snacks for the children

* Cleaning up after meals and keeping the children’s spaces organised

* Children’s laundry, including washing, folding and putting clothes away

* General tidying related to the children

* Helping maintain a calm, happy and organised environment throughout the day

About you

We are looking for someone who is:

* Experienced in caring for babies and toddlers

* Warm, nurturing and genuinely enjoys being around young children

* Confident caring for two one-year-olds at the same time

* Reliable, punctual and trustworthy

* Proactive and able to use initiative throughout the day

* Organised and happy to help with children-related household tasks

* Patient, calm and attentive

* Looking for a regular, ongoing position rather than occasional babysitting

Essential requirements:

* Previous professional childcare/nanny experience

* Current Working With Children Check

* First Aid and CPR certification

* Excellent, recent references

* Non-smoker

A relevant childcare qualification and/or experience caring for multiple young children would be highly regarded.
