Long-term, part-time nanny who is kind, organised, firm and responsible to look after my darling, sweet, social 5-year-old boy (I know all Mums think that about their children, but he really is). Every Wednesday and Thursday, every Friday alternating half and full day.
It would be somewhat long hours, but with the option to (or not to) take a few hours off in the middle of the day:
- 7am start, drop to school, some housekeeping, school pick up and then care until I am home, (likely around 6pm).
- 1 week out of 4, I would need you to stay overnight (in your own room with a king-sized bed and sharing an ensuite with the boy) in case I get called in to work. This has happened only once in the last 3 years, but I do need to be there within 30 mins, so it is much better if you are just at ours so I can just get up and go and nobody but me needs to wake up.
But, you would be suitably compensated! Some weeks would be not such long days, and there would be flexibility to scale up and down. You would have the option to use your own car (I would provide a booster seat) or use my car. There are lots of shops / cafes / supermarket in easy walk, and we are close to bus, tram and train lines, but at the moment the school is a half-hour drive away.
Keeping a tidy and organised home is a big part of the role, but we have weekly cleaners as well, so don't expect cleaning (!). By far the most important thing is keeping my boy healthy, engaged and happy.
