We’re a Canadian family living in Alphington looking for a reliable, experienced nanny to join us long-term. We don’t have family nearby, so finding the right person who wants stability and consistency is really important to us.
About the role:
- Regular hours: Wednesdays & Thursdays (2-8pm) with some flexibility for occasional extra hours
- Caring for our two boys (ages 4 & 7) – school/kinder runs, play, activities, homework support
- Preparing simple family meals, light household help (tidying after kids, folding laundry, unpacking dishwasher, putting bins out)
- Hourly rate: $40/hr
About you:
- Recent nanny experience
- Looking for a stable, ongoing role rather than short-term work
- Confident setting gentle but clear boundaries
- Patient, calm, and playful – someone who can keep kids engaged while holding routines
- Comfortable cooking family-friendly meals and pitching in with light house tasks
- Reliable communication – we value openness and honesty
