Im looking for someone to join my team as a support worker for a beautiful 10 year old boy with Norries Disease who is blind and has autism and an intellectual disability. Mainly looking for saturday late afternoon and school holidays. All training and ongoing support is provided by me so no need for prior experience but this is highly regarded. You would need to have a passion for working with children and learning new skills as well as be adapatable and able to handle ongoing training and feedback. Someone who is working in or aspiring to work in behaviour support, occupational therapy, speech therapy or physio therapy would be perfect for this role as we work closely with these therapies and integrate goals into what we do with the children on a daily basis. Please note a drivers licence and access to a car is essential for the role. Leo is a pretty chilled and has active spurts, and loves cars, spiderman and playtime.
The job includes picking Leo up from childcare in Moorabbin around 4:30-5:00 pm, then helping with some food prep, bath and keeping him entertained while I work and recover from an injury. We’re based in Cheltenham.

It would be every second week so two weeks a month. Once he’s home, he's self sufficient, nice and easy so it would just be making sure he’s settled. Somewhere between 1 and 1.5 hours each afternoon. We are looking for a nanny for one day a week from around the 1st of April, for our son Zayn. He is currently 10.5 months old and will be close to one by then.

If it is preferred, we can aim to have you finish earlier when we can get home earlier (between 5-6pm) however flexibility is preferred.

She will be approximately six months old at the time of commencement in mid May 2025 - to support mother's return to work. With our two boys now in Grade 2 and 5, we are looking for a superstar house-helper, somewhere between a housekeeper and a nanny.
After collecting the children from school/sport, main duties would be folding washing, preparing evening meal, one 'bigger job' per week (like clean windows or change sheets or wipe out fridge), perhaps a bit of ironing or prepping lunchbox snacks or some local errands. The boys have their own chores to help contribute, and need an adult nearby to ask, should they need help with homework but otherwise are pretty self-sufficient.
If you enjoy having well behaved (almost always!) kids around for company but are a clean machine and enjoy keeping a tidy home, we would love to hear from you. Pay and hours negotiable for the right person.
