I'm seeking a part-time carer on Wednesdays and Fridays to look after my 2 youngest girls, an 11 month old and an almost 3 year old.

Working around school drop off and pick for my eldest, current times needed are 9:30am until 2:30pm on Wednesdays and 9:30am to 1:30pm on Fridays.

Starting on the 12th November for the next 4-6 weeks (4 weeks minimum) with the possibility of further work in the new year.

He is supported after school 3pm-8pm and on weekends and school holidays. Looking for someone who has availability on at least one of the listed weekdays and one of either fortnightly Saturday mornings 9am-1pm or fortnightly Sundays 10am-3pm or 3pm-8pm. The hours have potential to increase if desired by early next year as one of his current team members will be finishing her degree and moving on. All training and ongoing support is provided by me so no need for prior experience in support work but this is highly regarded. You would need to be mature, nurturing, and to have a passion for working with children and learning new skills as well as the ability to stay calm when child is dysregulated and adapt to ongoing training and feedback. Someone who is either working in or aspiring to work in behaviour support, occupational therapy, speech therapy or physio therapy would be perfect for this role as we work closely with these therapies and integrate goals into what we do with the children on a daily basis.
