We are seeking a reliable and caring babysitter/nanny to look after our 3-year-old daughter on Wednesdays throughout January 2026. The role involves age-appropriate play, supervision, and basic care. There is potential for ongoing work, including additional days during school holiday periods across 2026. We’re looking for someone warm, dependable, and experienced with young children.
Hello!
We are a busy Beaumaris based family looking for before and after school care for our two kids, who are 9 (girl) and 4 (boy). Both attend school / kinder locally.
We require care from 7-10am and 3-5.30/6pm on Wednesday, Thursday and Fridays. Unfortunately we have no flexibility around these days / times.
The mornings will involve getting the kids sorted and ready for school / kinder, making lunchboxes, and then dropping them both off.
After drop off, you would come home for an hour or so to do a bit of a “reset”. This requires someone who has a fair bit of initiative in knowing what needs doing, for example, tidy the kitchen, load the dishwasher, fold and put away laundry, general tidy up / toys away.
The afternoons would involve school and kinder pick up, coming home, snacks, play and getting dinner organised for the kids.
We are an easygoing and friendly family, and we would love to find someone who can become an important part of our kids lives.
If you are :
- friendly
- easygoing
- caring
- ready to play lots of outdoor / ball games (4yo!)
- also ready to play lots of indoor card and board games (9yo!)
- up for a laugh
- have initiative when it comes to things that need doing around a house
- love dogs (we have two!)
Hello, my son turns 5 in April 2026. He is energetic. He starts primary school in Monbulk. We require a carer to pick him up from school (3pm) 3 days per week, take him to Karate (Kilsyth) and or Dance (Lilydale) and then mind him until either myself or wife are home from work (7pm) otherwise care for him at home. We would prefer for him to be cared for at our home in Mt Dandenong. There will be the opportunity for casual babysitting from time to time, with notice at sitters discretion.
We are looking for a reliable and experienced nanny/sitter to assist with our 10-month-old daughter while our son starts ELC 3.
Afternoon hours:
• 2–3 hours, 3 afternoons per week
• Around 2:30pm–4:30/5:30pm
Our daughter usually goes down for her afternoon sleep around 2:30–3:00pm and is in a solid sleep routine. While she is sleeping, we would love help with light household tasks such as dishes, washing, and general tidying—nothing major, just making good use of the time. She may occasionally need a resettle, but this is not often. If you enjoy cooking healthy toddler baking a bonus!
Optional additional hours:
For the right person, we would also consider adding 1 hour in the morning (8:00am–9:00am) to assist with drop-off.
About you:
• Experience caring for babies
• Proactive and able to see what needs to be done without being asked
• Calm, reliable, and confident following routines
• Comfortable helping with light household tasks related to the children
We are located in Beaumaris and are looking for someone who will become a valued part of our family’s routine.
Hi, I'm a solo mother of twin boys and looking for help with taking (or picking up) my children from Camberwell Primary School each day starting 2026. This will be a couple of hours a day, at least 4 days each week during the school term, starting 2026. However, it's important that you forge a strong relationship with my kids, so I would be interested in you starting sooner on a less frequent basis, if that's of interest.
The boys speak French and English. Ideally, if you speak French that would be a huge bonus. They will be attending a French language school next year. They do speak English.
Looking for someone who doesn't get overly stressed (or is comfortable being stressed), and doesn't mind the drive from Camberwell to Beaumaris. You must have your own vehicle and be happy having booster seats in the car when you drive them. Most likely looking for your help in the mornings, but if there are some mornings you can't do then I could do the morning that day and you could do the afternoon pick up instead. I do have some level of flexibility I can work with.
Needing someone reliable - this is key. If you can't commit for the full 2026 academic year then please don't apply - my kids will become attached to you (and I will need your support).
Thank you if you have taken the time to read this far! Hope to hear from you. Rate negotiable depending upon experience.

We are looking for an energetic, caring and attentive individual to become an extension of our family and provide full time care to a spirited and kind 4 year old girl and cheeky and active 1.5 year old little boy.
Flexibility with hours and days is required but can usually guarantee around 35-40 hours a week. Would also consider a live in au pair.
Little miss is in Kinder 8:30-4:30 on Tuesdays and Thursdays and the young man requires care 5 days a week.
Light house work duties appreciated. Drop off / pick ups from kinder and activities is a must (if no car seats in car ours will be available to use but must have a drivers licence).
Also interested in finding a casual babysitter for the occasional evening / weekend care requirements.
We're looking for a carer for our daughter who is 14 months old. Business hours on Wednesdays (approx. 8:30am - 5:30pm.) This is an ongoing position - we're looking for consistent care.
The ideal person will be measured and patient, but mostly just has a love for spending time with children and is willing to invest that time developing a connection with our girl, so she feels secure.
We enjoy spending time outdoors, going to story time at the local library or attending other local community activities and it would be great if our carer was willing to do similar things on a Wednesday too.
Experience not necessarily required, we're just looking for the right person. References necessary - your family, friends or previous employers know you and that is important to us.
