Hours: Monday to Thursday from 8am to 6pm, commencing approximately 2 February 2026 (we are open to an earlier start date for the right candidate). Reliability and punctuality are essential.

Description: Our ideal nanny would be an important part of our sons' learning and development, and eager to go on daily adventures to the local parks, museum, zoo, shops, library and generally exploring the streets of Fitzroy.

Our eldest is sweet, sensible, fun and loves the company of adults. The youngest is lively, energetic, cheeky and fearless.

The role also requires the preparation of meals (breakfast, lunch and dinner), bath times, and doing some basic laundry for the kids.

We live in a spacious apartment in the heart of Fitzroy, close to all the great cafes and shops and a one-minute walk to Coles. It is very close to the 96 and 11 tramlines, and a 10-minute walk from the 86 tram.

It is important that the successful candidate is able to commit to at least 6-12 months in the role, and doesn't mind cats (we have one cat).

Rate: $35 per hour, paid weekly.

Our 4 year old son will start special kindy 3 days a week in February. Our 7 year old daughter will start in grade 2 around the same time.

We need a carer or carers Monday to Friday during school terms and on school holidays. Hours will vary depending on whether the kids are at school/kindy.

At a minimum, there will be 3-hour shifts in the morning (approximately 7.30am to 10.30am) and 3-hour shifts in the afternoon/evening (3pm to 6pm) for three days during the week. For the remaining two days of the week, the preferred hours would be 8am to 5pm.
