Looking for a warm and energetic babysitter with experience in disability. We have a gorgeous little boy with special needs (autistic/ADHD/Intellectual Disability) who is 5 and developmentally around 1-2 years old. He is nonverbal, very active, and has a lovely happy temperament. He loves water so any sort of water play or movement-based activities keep him entertained and happy. We are basically needing an extra pair of hands a couple of times a week for 3-4 hours (afterschool or weekends) to give us some time to get some work done from home, spend time with our other 2 kids, or run some errands. This would involve picking him up from school, minding him at home, nappy changes, doing some therapy exercises, and/or taking him out to the park. Every few months (July/Dec) we need some more intensive babysitting that would involve 2-3 mornings a week for 3 weeks where he would need to be driven to his intensive therapy program and assisted in between therapy breaks then driven to school).

Hello! We are looking for someone to help us out in June, July and August while our nanny goes travelling.
We have three children; the older two (8 and 6) go to Fairfield Primary and the younger (nearly 3) goes to day care very close to our house.
Specifically we would be looking for before school care (which would usually entail arriving 6.30am, sometimes later) including day care and school drop offs, and after school care for the older two plus day care pickup for the 3 year old, Monday-Wednedsay. We would also likely need some evening babysitting and occasional care on other days if you were available. So this would entail 6.30am-9am and 3.30-6.30pm Monday-Wednesday.
We'd prefer to operate on a flexible basis as our rosters mean that sometimes we can cover the morning or afternoon stint.
Our kids do some clubs locally on some of those days so ideally you'd have your own car, but if you can manage the pickups and drop-offs from our house to the school (1km walk, kids are fine with this) then we can work around the other stuff with help from family.
Our kids are not difficult to look after and we can be flexible with your commitments if you give us as much notice as possible.
It would be great if you were happy to help with dinner prep for the kids and occasional household tasks like hanging out or folding laundry, making lunchboxes etc.
While this is a short term assignment, it's highly likely that if we all got along we would continue to use you for babysitting or occasional childcare when our regular nanny is unavailable when she gets back.
