We’re looking for a reliable and trustworthy babysitter to help care for our 17-month-old son, on an ad hoc basis, sometimes with fairly short notice.
We’re relatively new to Melbourne and don’t have family support nearby, so we’d love to find someone local who we can build an ongoing relationship with and feel comfortable contacting when we need an extra pair of hands.
We’re looking for someone who:
• Has a current WWCC and Police Check
• Has experience with, or is very confident caring for, children around 17 months old
• Is reliable, responsible and genuinely comfortable with young children
• Lives in or close to Surrey Hills
• Is available during weekday working hours, generally between 9am–6pm
• Is comfortable being in a home with a cat - no pet care is required, he’ll simply be around!
The work would be casual/ad hoc rather than set weekly hours, and occasionally we may need someone at relatively short notice, so someone with a bit of flexibility would be ideal.
We’d really love to find someone warm, dependable and trustworthy who can become a familiar person for our little boy rather than having to find a different babysitter each time.
