Looking for a wonderful nanny in Hawthorn 3122

Pay: $35–$40/hr (depending on experience)
We are looking for a confident, caring, creative and reliable nanny to look after our two boys aged 3 and 4 on Tuesdays (8:30 am to 5:00 pm) and Fridays (8:30 am to 4:00 pm).
This is a part-time nanny role caring for two young children during the business day. It would ideally suit an experienced nanny whose current family’s circumstances are changing next year and who is looking for their next ongoing position.
We have had a wonderful experience with our current nanny over the past year, and as she begins a placement for her Early Childhood Education studies next year, she will only be available one day a week. We are looking for someone to join our family and care for the boys across both days on an ongoing basis. We would love to find someone who is looking for a long-term role throughout 2026.
The boys attend kindergarten on the other days, so these two days are focused on park adventures, exploring, kicking the football and having fun. They love playgrounds, the library, picnics and little outings, and we are hoping to find someone who enjoys planning engaging days with them.
Both parents work from home. We also have a Groodle, so being comfortable around dogs is important.
Ideally, you will:
• Have experience caring for preschool-aged children
• Enjoy play-based learning and creative, hands-on activities
• Be kind, patient and confident managing two young children
• Hold a Working With Children Check and police check
• Have a driver’s licence, own car ideal
• Be comfortable with light household tidying related to the boys such as meals, toys and laundry
