We are looking for a regular carer for our 9 year old son Matthew. Matthew is autistic and has recently progressed from reduced school hours due to full time school. We are looking for an experienced carer to pick him up from school in Balmain at 3:00pm between Monday and Fridays, walking 500m with him to our home in Balmain, and care, help with homework and actively play with him until 5:30 PM. Work is guaranteed to the end of the 2026 school year, with the possibility of casual work in the school holidays, baby sitting, and work into 2027. The work is ideal for someone who lives reasonably close to Balmain who needs reduced, well paid hours.

Matthew is intelligent, creative, playful curious and generally well behaved, though he can sometimes have challenges regulating his behaviour if stressed, excited or overwhealmed or when responding to excessive demands. We would value a patient, warm, caring and playful person, preferably with understanding and experience caring for neurodiverse children.

Hourly rates is $50 per hour.

We’re looking for a warm, reliable and experienced babysitter to help care for our 3-month-old twins, starting **26 October**.

Having just returned from overseas, we’re looking for some temporary support, primarily in the daytime hours as we settle back into a routine.

**Previous experience caring for newborn twins or multiples is essential.**
We need someone confident managing two babies at once, including feeding, settling and sleep routines. We would like basic housework (vacuuming, putting toys away, wiping bench tops), ensuring nappy and formula is stocked up and we can sleep during the day as currently babies don’t sleep during night.

Hi there! We’re looking for a caring, reliable nanny to help look after our 2.5-year-old daughter, Frankie.
I work freelance as a hair and makeup artist, so my schedule changes week to week depending on shoot dates. Shifts will vary in length—anywhere from 5 to 10 hours—and days will differ each week.
Frankie is in daycare on Thursdays and Fridays, but if I have an early call time on those days, the job will include getting her ready and doing the morning daycare drop-off.
Main Responsibilities:
Keeping Frankie happy, active, and engaged during the day
Preparing simple meals/snacks for her
Daycare drop-offs on Thursday/Friday mornings when needed
Light tidy-up after Frankie (toys, snacks, dishes)
Requirements:
Driver’s licence and reliable car (capable of fitting a safe car seat)
Valid WWCC & First Aid/CPR
Previous experience caring for toddlers
Flexibility with early start times and varying shift lengths

Ideally they could also cook a meal for her and our other daughter who we will collect on our way back from the work. They will need a car and a license.
