Childcare/Support Worker for 9YO Autistic Boy

We are looking for a regular carer for our 9 year old son Matthew. Matthew is autistic and has reduced school hours due to difficulties coping with the demands of full time school. We are looking for an experienced carer to pick him up from school in Balmain at 1:00pm on Thursday's and Fridays, walking 500m with him to our home in Balmain, and care, help with homework and actively play with him until 5:00 PM.

Matthew is intelligent, creative, playful curious and generally well behaved, though he can sometimes have challenges regulating his behaviour or responding to social demands. We would value a patient, warm, caring and playful person, preferably with understanding and experience caring for neurodiverse children.

Hourly rates is $45 per hour.
