We’re looking for a kind and reliable nanny to help with our two kids (10 & 11).
They’re fun, easy-going and pretty independent, but need someone for school pick-ups, afternoon care, pick up and drop off and afternoon activities (sports practice, tutoring etc) homework help and a bit of dinner prep / lunchbox prep.
A car is essential as is experience with kids.

I am seeking a long term, caring and experienced nanny to look after my seven-year-old daughter and four-year-old son after school in Paddington.

Responsibilities include:
• Picking the children up from school.
• Taking them to after school activities.
• Providing children with afternoon tea, making school lunches and dinners, weekly shopping.
• Playing board games with the children.
• Ensuring both children and bathed and showered.
• Light cleaning associated with the children (we have a weekly cleaner for deep cleaning) including loading and unloading the dishwasher, tidying up, making the children’s bed (they normally do this themselves), washing and folding the children’s clothes.
• Occasional family chores before school pick up (e.g., picking up dog medicine, picking up deliveries from the post office, shopping for the children’s clothes).
• We also have a small Cavalier King Charles that is friendly and low maintenance. There is the option to walk the dog daily (or on preferred days) if additional hours are desired.

Hours run on a fortnightly schedule:
• Week 1: Wednesday and Thursday, 12.30pm – 6.45pm
• Week 2: Monday and Thursday, 12.30 – 6.45pm
• School pick up at 3pm, full schedule, including extracurricular activity routine to be provided on application.
• Potential for the occasional additional hours after 6.30pm (subject to nanny availability), dog sitting the Cavalier when the family travel, and covering the Friday nanny during sick leave.
• Opportunity for school holiday hours to increase to 8.00am – 6.30pm (subject to nanny availability).

Rate
• Rate: $45 per hour, inclusive of super, subject to annual increases.
• Guaranteed minimum of 12.5 paid hours per week when family travel for holidays, or grandparents visit.
• Dog sitting overnight: $100.

Requirements
• Experience working as a nanny.

• First aid qualifications.
• Working with children certification.
• Valid Australian driver’s license.
• Legally entitled to work in Australia.

I need a babysitter for a few hours this evening in St Peters. Can be for after bed-time, I have just moved to the area and this could become a permanent casual thing. I have two boys, youngest is age 1 and older is aged 4. They share a room. Both lively and spirited boys, generally go to bed at about 7-7:30 after dinner and bed-time. Older one can be a little bit wild just before bed and the younger one takes a little bit of time to feel comfortable but they generally go down by 7:30-8:00PM.
