Hello, babysitters/nannies! We are looking for an experienced nanny to help our family. Our previous nanny is returning overseas and we would therefore require someone to start as soon as conveniently possible.

We have two young girls (3.5yrs &6.5yrs).
Responsibilities of the role will be picking up the girls from the bus (located near home), looking after their general well-being, playing with and engaging them, taking them to activities and/or the playground, doing homework preparation, meal prep, tidying up and preparing for sleep time.
Hours would be from ~3:00 pm to ~6:30 pm (potentially longer, at request), minimum 3 days per week, up to 5 days. It would be great if you’re available some evenings and weekends too. The role is initially 8 weeks but could be extended (TBC).

Seeking care for our 15 month old daughter on a part-time basis for 3 days a week (Tuesday - Thursday) for approx 8 weeks from 29 April-18 June. There will some additional days on Mondays for 3 weeks in this period (from 13 May - 1 June). Our nanny will be away during this time and my mother who helps me out on Mondays will also be away for a few weeks in the same period.
The hours of work will be 8am-5.15pm and we are based in Edgecliff. Our daughter is on the Save our Sleep schedules, and has one nap in the middle of the day for several hours. She self settles and falls asleep perfectly on routine and eats well. She is a happy and settled child.
Activities will include:
- engaging in stimulating play/reading/outings to various activities during awake times to support appropriate developmental milestones
- attending to toileting and hygiene needs (e.g. changing nappies etc)
- preparing food for our daughter (breakfast, lunch and dinner)
- feeding our daughter breakfast, lunch and dinner and ensuring she is hydrated
- light household duties (dishwasher, general tidying)
- washing, folding and putting away baby clothes; tidying and packing away toys
- putting our daughter down for her daily nap (she self settles)

The morning involves being at us by 0800 and then finishing by 0900.

The duty covers below time slots for all weekdays. However, we are open to have two different nannies covering these two time slots if you can't do both of them, as we understand it's quite spread apart. :)
Morning Slot:
- Arriving at 6.30am, preparing for his breakfast. 7am wake him up, dress school uniform, face wash and teeth brushing. Supervising him for breakfast. Tidying up, Packing schoolbag, dropping off to school (not too far). Finish at 8.45am.
Afternoon Slot:
- Picking up from School (in Bellevue Hill) at 2.30pm. Take bus home. Checking schoolbag, washing lunchbox, feed him snacks, encourage for another short nap. Wake him up, play time, feed dinner, shower, finish at around 6.30pm .

We would like someone with a few years experience, who knows how to take care of a 3 yo boy. The successful candidate must be honest, caring, attention to details, punctual and responsible. Ideally who also knows how to cook for a 3 yo. References will be preferred.

- A few things that we have found we need to be super clear on: First, reliability is critical: please don't apply if you view sick leave as an entitlement to be used up (but of course it's there for when you're really sick). Second, please don't apply if you have any issues with substance abuse. Third, we need a 12 month commitment provided we’re a good fit - we need someone who is not planning to leave or change hours to study or more than 4 weeks’ travel in the next 12 months. Fourth, we need you to be OK with looking after sick children, including fevers and green runny noses and conjuntivitis and rashes, practising infection control. We don't expect you to work if they have COVID or gastro.

Looking for an experienced Nanny (aged 30 years or older) to regularly look after our soon to be 10 month old daughter for 2 days a week (Thursday and Friday from 8am to 5pm) when I go back to work full time in June.
This would include light housekeeping / cooking while she is asleep (she is on 2 naps a day) and we are happy for you to take her out to the park etc for an activity. We live in a 3 bedroom semi in Mosman with a small courtyard/backyard which is well located between parks, shops and cafes. I often work from home so I may or may not be working in the front room on the days when we have a Nanny.
