We live in Oatley and are searching for a local nanny/housekeeper to help us with looking after 2 primary school kids (a 7 year old girl and 8 year old boy). My wife and I both work full time and are looking for someone who can Cook for the family and clean the house which included Ironing, Laundry and Floor cleaning. We prefer Monday and Thursday 8/9hrs each day but the actual Days (2-3 days a week) and number hours per day are negotiable.
Hello! We are looking for a wonderful carer/nanny to collect our 2 girls (6 and 10 years old) from school in Darlinghurst. We live in Marrickville so it would probably suit someone local. Our car is available to use, with carseat for the 6 year old.
We need someone who is an excellent driver (clean drivers licence), highly reliable, punctual, kind and an experienced carer. COVID vaccinated please.
This position is for the school year (during term time), with potential for it to continue on for future years. Also, plenty of opportunities for further work babysitting and drop off/pick up from extracurricular swimming, playdates etc. We look forward to hearing from you!
We have an 18 month old daughter and are looking for a nanny for Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays from 7am until 6:30pm. Possibly Friday nights if mutually agreed and not every week.
The duties include:
- age appropriate activities for her development
- Light cooking duties for her: prepare, cook and give her dinner (batch cook meals for freezer)
- Keeping the nursery and playroom tidy
- Doing her laundry once or twice a week
- light housework : unpack/pack dishwasher
We are looking for an energetic, positive, and caring person.
We are looking for a responsible, caring and patient nanny to help out Monday to Thursday afternoons (3pm to 6.30pm).
The role involves collecting our 9 year old daughter and 11 year old son from school, supervising afternoon tea and homework, evening meal prep (for the kids only) and driving to various extra-curricular activities.
Ideally the successful candidate would also be happy to do an additional hour or 2 during the day to do laundry and light housework, but this isn’t essential.
Drivers licence and own car essential, as is Covid vaccination.
Are you available at 5pm on Saturdays?
I am looking for someone to do a "changeover" for my sweet little three year old boy at Petersham park each Saturday. The changeover will take about 10-15 minutes and I will pay $50 per changeover.
You will be the right person if you are older than 25 years of age, calm, responsible, and OK working in a slightly awkward situation.
In brief, my son spends Saturday with his dad, but I don't think it is a good idea for the parents to come in contact because that can lead to rude words and/or conflict in front of the little boy. I need someone to meet the Dad at Petersham park, then hold the boys hand and walk five minutes around the corner to return the boy to me. You will need to arrive at 4.55pm on Saturday and be prepared to wait 10-20 minutes if the Dad is late (he is usually on time).
I will understand if some Saturdays you might not be available, but I need someone who is available at least 75% of time, and clearly communicates with me when they are not available.
Usually this job only takes 10-15 minutes, but I pay $50 per changeover because while the Dad is sometimes calm and polite, at other times he is rude. In the past he has done things such as giving people the "silent treatment", ie. not saying hello when he meets you, or throwing a hat on the ground when he didn't want it. If you think you can handle this, you might be the person I'm really searching for!
More than happy to answer any questions so you can think about if this job is the right fit for you. Just email me and we'll make a time to talk.
Thank you <3

Our lovely nanny has sadly just relocated to the northern beaches. We are looking for a nanny to join the chaos of our household two nights per week from 3pm to 8pm on Tues / Thurs. We have three beautiful girls aged 5, 8 and 10 that need to be picked up after school / music lessons and be brought home. We are within walking distance to the local school (Erskineville Public), but I'm happy for the car to be used to pickup the children in the event of wet weather. Tasks will include helping the kids with homework, playing with them, having some fun, getting them to clean up their room, helping to reheat a prepared dinner or do some light prep towards this. Getting the kids into the bath /shower and pyjamas. Some light house duties include cleaning up after dinner and helping me fold the never ending cycle of laundry.
Must have previous references and be willing to work with loud, fun, energetic kids and become part of the family.
My kids Theodore (4 yrs old in feb) & Harriet (1.5 years) are normal little kids that both love doing activities and having fun.
Im flexible with a start date but am looking for ongoing Thursday & Fridays for the day while Im at work.
Harriet still has a nap in the middle of the day for 2-3 hours.
They go to daycare mon-wed so are well socialised.
Please let me know if you would like any more info.
Hi, we are looking for someone fun and loving to look after our 2 boys - ages 6 and 9 - for three afternoons per week (3 pm - 6.30). Our house is walking distance to school - so we just need someone to pick them up and bring them home, walk them down to football training etc and get them dinner (which I have tended to organise beforehand). Sadly our babysitter who has been with us for 3 years now has clashes with her studies - we loved her very much! The boys are active, easy-going and polite. Great job for those who need extra hours while studying etc. Thanks!!
The role involves looking after our 5.5 and 2.5 year old girls. It will be for 16 hours a week, Mon-Thurs 2-6pm (can be slightly flexible with hours but not days) and also involve light housework such as dinner prep and folding washing. Generally our Nanny has completed light housework at home for an hour or so then collected the girls for playground, come home time/time out, dinner and bath.
The 5.5 yo starts Kindergarten this year and 2.5 is in daycare – walking distance from our place. Our current nanny has been with us for three years and is leaving to start her full-time career as a teacher. She would be happy to speak with the successful applicant about her time with our family.
We live within walking distance of Parramatta Road bus stops, Stanmore train station and close to USYD and UTS city campuses.
The role is a permanent part-time role. The Nanny will be covered by workers’ compensation, accrue annual lave and sick leave and our rate is $33p/h plus superannuation.
Send me a text (Mel) on 0421 288 611 if you are interested in meeting our family
Babysitter wanted on average one evening per week, or one - two evenings per fortnight.
It will be night time care for my 3.5yr old son. From around 7:30pm till late and possibly sleep over at times. He goes to bed around 8:30pm, he still wakes at around 3am for drink then sleeps through until approx 6:30/7am. He is almost toilet trained.
I may require additional hours to assist with preschool pickup at a later stage.
My wife and I both work full time and are looking for a casual babysitter to look after our son when he is unable to attend day care because of illness (cold etc). It would be roughly two days a month.
He is an energetic, inquisitive and very friendly and happy on 1 year old boy.
We live in a terrace in up the South Everleigh end of Alexandria which has an outdoor area and there area parks within a couple of hundred metres to play in.
Hi, looking for someone experienced to care for a 4yr old boy.
Approx 3 days p/week with flexibility 3:30 - 6:30/7.
Location: Croydon, 5 mins from train station.
We are walking distance from his preschool.
After-preschool pickup, play, cooking, bath-time.
He loves the park, scootering, playing games, books.
Note we have a friendly dog (border collie) so have to be ok with pets.
Car / license would be good but not required (purely for park visits)
Start Jan 10 (again, flexible).
Our family is in need of a nanny for our sweet 5 month old baby boy, Oscar (6 months by start date).
Ideally someone near Leichhardt who is experienced, reliable, trustworthy and fun.
We both work mostly from home and so will be close by most of the time. We’re wanting someone to be able to give Oscar their full attention to play, read, go on walks, feed, cuddle and put him down for naps, while we work.
(Mum runs her own company and dad is in consulting)
It would be ideal that you can be flexible with times and days (as we can be), available for occasional night time babysitting/appointments and open to domestic travel if needed.
Hoping for 2 mornings per week to start (10am - 2pm approx, Tuesday’s and flexible for either Wednesday or Thursday), building onto this as we all become more comfortable — you’ll be his first ever carer other than his parents.
We’d love someone happy to do light housekeeping during any naps, small errands, shopping etc (when on walks).
We have a large but very friendly Labrador, so dog lover a must.
It would be a bonus if you speak Italian or another language and love music.
If you think you'd be a good match, please apply.
