Part-time nanny - 18 month old boy - Kingsgrove

We are a warm, close-knit family of three based in Kingsgrove. We are both medical doctors with busy but predictable schedules, and we have a happy, curious 18-month-old son.

We are looking for an experienced, long-term nanny to become a trusted and valued part of our family life.

Essential Requirements:

• Minimum 2–3 years’ experience in nannying or formal childcare settings

• Current First Aid, CPR and Anaphylaxis qualifications

• Valid Working with Children Check

• National Police Check

• Up-to-date immunisations (including whooping cough and influenza)

• At least two professional childcare-related references

• Current Australian driver’s licence and own reliable vehicle

Welcomed but not essential:

• Bachelor-qualified Early Childhood Teacher, Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care, or a nursing/allied health background with hands-on experience caring for young children

Day-to-day responsibilities include:

• Planning and providing screen-free activities such as reading, musical play, sensory activities, arts and crafts, and walks or park outings in our local area

• Supporting mealtimes (meals will be pre-prepared) and naptimes, maintaining a calm and consistent daily routine

• Light child-related housework — tidying play areas, child’s laundry, loading the dishwasher, and keeping shared living areas tidy

• Communicating openly with us about our son’s day, any concerns, or developmental observations

Schedule & Start Date:

• Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday, 7:00 am – 6:00 pm (33 hours per week). Specific days are flexible for the right candidate, though total hours would remain the same.

• Starting ASAP but flexible start date for the right candidate

• We are happy to settle you into the role gradually so you feel supported as you become familiar with our home, the local area and our son’s routine

What We Offer:

• $35–$45 per hour, based on qualifications and experience
