We are a family based in Kogarah looking for a reliable, caring, and experienced nanny/mother’s helper to assist with our two young children on an ongoing casual basis.
About Our Family
We have two children:
• A 17-month-old boy
• A 5-year-old girl
Working Hours
Weekends (main requirement):
• Saturday or Sunday, depending on our needs
• Approximately 7:00 AM – 12:00 PM
• Ongoing casual work, with days arranged in advance
Occasional Weekday Support:
• Tuesday, Wednesday, or Thursday
• Approximately 7:00 AM – 5:00 PM
• Only when additional assistance is needed, with a few days’ notice and subject to your availability
Responsibilities
• Assist with the children’s daily routines, including meals, playtime, naps, and general care.
• Engage the children in fun, age-appropriate activities.
• Help with feeding, changing, dressing, and other childcare needs.
• Provide an extra pair of hands to support the family.
• Help keep the children’s play areas and belongings tidy.
What We’re Looking For
• Someone warm, patient, trustworthy, and genuinely enjoys working with young children.
• Previous experience caring for toddlers and preschool-aged children.
• Reliable, punctual, and flexible with casual scheduling.
• Comfortable caring for two young children.
• Current Working With Children Check (WWCC).
• First Aid and CPR certification preferred.
Additional Information
This is an ongoing casual position, ideal for someone looking for regular weekend work with the possibility of additional weekday shifts.
We are hoping to find someone who can become a familiar, trusted, and consistent part of our children’s routine.
