Looking for: Part-time,Casual Babysitting

Hi, I’m a single 55 yo Mum with a grown son (who still loves having his Mum around to look after him) and have just returned to Australia after 2 years sailing and travelling around Europe. I am a trained chef/caterer/nutritionist however I’d prefer not to go back into that stressful work life and am looking for a more balanced part time role where I can feel useful and keep busy! I was lucky enough to work with families in London, Munich and Montenegro where I got to hang out with the kids, prepare daily meals for the family (including making sue there were plenty of healthy snacks…..and treats!), food shopping, general organising and cleaning and basically picking up on what needed to be done to make everyone’s life easier. I have worked for an anti human trafficking NGO in Vietnam for 5 years, where our focus is rescuing children who are victims of trafficking and being able to support them back to school and reunited with their families. I have also worked with kids programmes at OzHarvest here and in London and love being able to interest children in sustainability, their environment and cooking! I have my current first aid qualifications up to date and am available immediately. Would love to hear from you and see if I can make a positive difference in your family’s life, V

I even ran cooking classes for kids during my time in Vietnam, encouraging them to explore food and creativity. 💐 I also owned a florist studio, where I organised children’s flower workshops, fostering creativity and hands-on learning. 🌈 I have experience working closely with neurodivergent children, tailoring care to their unique needs. ✈️ I’ve traveled internationally with families to provide continuity of care during major transitions. Qualifications: ✔️ WWCC (Working With Children Check) – Valid ✔️ Police Check – Valid ✔️ HLTAID012 First Aid – Valid ✔️ CPR Certification – Valid Why Families Love Working With Me: I’m nurturing, reliable, and creative, always putting children’s well-being and happiness first. A Little Extra About Me: 🐾 I’m a proud pet parent to my rescue dog, Miso, who is waiting out a transition period in Singapore before joining me in July 2025. 📚 I’m currently studying animal behaviour and service dog training, with hopes of combining my skills to support neurodivergent children in innovative ways. 🌏 I bring a global perspective from living in Vietnam, where I taught diverse groups of children and built meaningful community connections. Looking for: Part-time,Casual Babysitting

Hi lovely parents! My name is Téa and I am looking for work, either part time or casual. Ideally, any parents reaching out need someone to babysit/child mind on a regular basis or to help in regards to an upcoming event. Background: I am in my third year of uni, studying a bachelor of arts at the University of Melbourne. I major in psychology, and hope to one day work as an animal assisted therapist for children. Availability: I am only available to work on the weekends and Monday or Tuesday nights. This is because I currently work with 3 lovely families. One that requires casual babysitting once every fortnight or so after hours, so my availability can fluctuate but I will happily convey this with you. A second that requires before school help from Monday through to Friday from 7:30am till 11am. And the third requires fortnightly help on Thursday’s from 5:30pm till 8:30pm. Rate: My rate is $40 per hour, but I charge an extra $10 per hour (ie. $50 per hour) if you are wanting me to stay past midnight. Services: 1. Babysitting/child minding 2. Pet sitting/walking 3. Cooking/meal prep 4. Light cleaning 5. Basic homework help 6. Fun! Experience and Qualifications: As I’ve mentioned, I am currently working with three families. One where I look after two young boys aged 9 and 12, another where I look after a 6 yearold girl and newborn baby boy, and the third family has two boys ager 4 and 6. However, my experience working with children is much more vast. One of my hobbies growing up was playing chess, and I have fortunately been able to make a job out of it by tutoring primary and secondary school students. I have worked solo with classes of 3 to 20+ students at a time, and in team settings with 400 kids under my care. This means that I have gained a deep understanding as how to work with children who have learning difficulties and behavioural challenges. My work also requires me to have an employee wwcc and first aid certificate in an education and care setting. Upon request I am happy to share these with you. I have my license and can take kids to and from school/sport or any other activities. If I had your permission, I would love to take them to the zoo, park, bowling, etc to keep them entertained and happy. I completely understand if you would prefer to meet me before agreeing to any work and am happy to do so. I can’t wait to hear from you :)
