Hi! I’m Zoe Denahy, I’m 24 years old, and I’ve always loved working with kids. I grew up in Ballarat and moved to Melbourne in 2021 for uni, where I completed my Bachelor of Psychological Science with distinctions. I will be continuing studying this year by starting a Master of Teaching so I can become a primary school teacher.
I have babysat weekly for a family with a 2 year old and another family with a 9 year old, which has given me great experience with different ages and personalities.
In my current role as a Learning Support Officer, I work with students of all ages and abilities. This has really helped me learn how to recognise what each child needs and how to support them in a way that works best for them. I love creating a safe, comfortable environment where kids feel happy, supported, and confident whether that’s in the classroom or out in the yard.
I’m a really enthusiastic and adventurous person, so I always try to make babysitting fun. I’m more than happy to take kids out to do things like visit the zoo or aquarium, play sport, go to the movies, check out playgrounds, help with homework or even just have a fun day at home.
I do have a slightly bus schedule due to uni and work commitments, but I am available Mondays, Thursdays and fridays from 4:30 onwards, tuesdays and Wednesdays from 2pm onward aswell as weekends.
I’d love the chance to get to know your family and help out however I can!
